The One and Only Smart Marks Draft Thread
Zack Malibu replied to Art Sandusky's topic in No Holds Barred
The 12th selection is someone who's remained overlooked despite some hype in the Day 1 thread. He's entrenched within not only the TSM community, but also involved in related communities like WDI and SNKT. Giving off that "angry young man" vibe is sure to help us when dealing with our rivals, so Team Malibu is happy to scoop up... Shadow Sovereign, aka Deathwish Danny Williams. -
Kotz goes the Boston route, while Malibu stays true to New York. The rivalry heats up!

The eleventh overall pick for Team Malibu goes to a relative newcomer to TSM. Having only been a "regular" here for a short time, he fought off the "OMG ITZ EAGAN/JOHNSON/WHOEVER" onslaught that most newbs face, and has trekked on, speaking his mind whenever he sees fit. An active participant in the Sports folder, as well as coming into his own down in the land of the OAOAST, he's a noted member of the New York Family, and brings his strongarm tactics to the ranks of Team Malibu. The 11th pick is... NY Untouchable -
It'll be UT/Bradshaw at Summerslam. Too soon for Mordecai, although that's never stopped WWE before.

Pfft, I'm not a political person at all. If Tyler's got an opinion something, he can speak his peice, because I won't cramp his style at all. No underlying agendas in this team, no sir.

Tyler's gonna have to take back that ballerina pic, unless he wants his team uniform to be a tutu. Say hey to the newest member o' the team.

Team Malibu comin' at ya again, with our tenth pick in the draft. This poster, well, quite frankly, I don't know jack about. I've gone through his posting history though, and he seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders, which will be more helpful than arguments consisting of "OMG U SUCK LOLZ2004!". There's not much else I can say about him, other than that his intelligence and supreme wit should be a welcome addition to the cause, whatever it may be. Our pick... Tyler Mcclelland. -
I like that attitude. Have a six pack, on me.

So you want me to sacrifice my blood, sweat, and tears but still not achieve mainstream success? No thank you, sir. Kotz for life. Whut. Three letters for you...R-V-D. See if you get the push you deserve with Uncle Eric in charge.

I look at this like the wrestling war from a few years back. Kotz is like Eric Bischoff, thinking that the name value of his roster means instant success. Frigid is like Vince, hiring guys that are so alike they're interchangeable with one another. I'm Paul Heyman, taking a chance on the lesser known yet talented lot, along with some name value along the way. Considering Bischoff now works for Vince and Vince took many of his best ideas from Heyman, I'm pleased with the comparison. And no, my team will not go bankrupt, thank you.

$10,000 up front in cash, and half the royalties from the Team Malibu clothing line. Plus VIP entry and free drinks at either of my cousins nightclubs.

I don't think Lacey is a Canadian chick, which means it loses something in translation.

Yes, it was your accident for saying that. You should know better, Shuffle.

Pfft...we'll see how well you guys gel. I give it a week before JSYK attempts a mutiny.

This next selection was chosen due to his loyalty to any cause he's a part of. He's also something of an unofficial sidekick to me at times, but now can rest easy knowing his status is cemented as one of Team Malibu's own. From the Great White North of Canada, Team Malibu welcomes their next piece to the puzzle... The Kid. -
Updated my selections with their pics, so no one should feel left out. Oh, and FOOSTER~!
-
You don't even wanna know what came up on Google when I looked for one for you. If you've got a good one, PM it to me and I'll toss it in.
-
I'll clean up the draft thread. Zsasz has his picture up now, so I'll get rid of the posts.

Team Malibu's 8th pick goes to a man who has really come into his own, enthralling us with stories of evading police while drunk, and being drawn into a heated confrontation with a reknowned porn star. He was then willing to let bygones be bygones, and attempted to cash in on his encounter by getting a few moments in the sun at an upcoming indy show. He's shown initiative, he's shown balls, and he's shown that he can get wrecked with the best of him. With stories like those, his legend will live on much like the icons that make up his username. Team Malibu is happy to welcome their latest pick... JAxlMorrison -
Group hug!

Czechmate for Team Frigid. What, like I was the only one who was going to make that joke?

Caboose to Team Malibu! Caboose to Team Malibu!

Back from lunch break with my latest pick. This next pick is a veteran of TSM, and an old friend of mine. Always quick to my defense, he was willing to get blood on his hands for fights that I remained laid back about, especially when it came down to the OAOAST DRAWMUH~! that has plagued this place several times. Always willing to speak his mind, that is when he's not waking up in a strange place with a hangover or breaking into someone's house so that his family can take a leak in the morning, he's been my right hand man before, and he can be so again. Team Malibu introduces it's latest member to you all... Caboose. -
Outstanding. There's nothing else that really catches my eye. Scooped it up yesterday. Already watched the first two episodes (which was actually a two hour movie pilot). I can't stand the original Face though.
