I might be the only one with this mentality, but I'm glad to see that at least they were avenged, so that some type of justice was served. I've gotta live every day knowing whoever killed my cousin is off walking the streets somewhere, unless karma caught up to him/her (and if it hasn't, I'm sure it will).

I live in a small, suburban town. I'm not in a ghetto. My cousin's death wasn't gang warfare or anything like that. I'm not about to go into the (nonsensical) reasons for his death though.

Ripper, if I ever run into you in the "real world", I'm buying you a beer just for having the sheer courage to not break in a situation like that. Insults and actions like that go beyond the realm of "harsh words or actions". It's downright cruel. Kudos to you though for being the better person and not doing something that could have ruined your future.

Jesus...I thought my insult would top this, but to have someone directly related to someone involved is just mind-blowing. It's amazing how low some people will stoop. No one's got any respect anymore.

So what stopped you from smacking her around for a bit? I think I would have if she said some stupid shit like that. Actually, check that...I wouldn't have hit her. I would have just fucked her sister (or, hell, even her mom). Well, she didn't have a sister, so I couldn't go that route... I'd never, ever hit a girl. Don't respect people who do it, and would never do it myself. But seriously, I was all but ready to slam my car door into her knees (I was in my car and she approached it, trying to cuss me out for whatever reason, then brought that whole insult up) but cooler heads prevailed.

The time travel show Kamala and MJB are talking about was Do Over on the WB. I liked the show enough that I was going to start taping, but they never wound up getting to rerun episodes.

This was more of a "put me in a raging fury" type of insult than a "hurt" one: "You know, you keep saying shit like that you'll wind up just like your cousin." Said to me by a raving psycho bitch whom I had stopped dating (due to said raving psychoness). I told her she needed to grow up and look in the mirror to find the source of her problems. She says that. Reason it hurt? My cousin was found shot dead about a year earlier. Only time in my life I wanted to beat down a female.

I say go for it. I expect an autographed copy in the mail.

What was the deal with Funk and CZW? Oh, and Last Free Voice, CZW is not all strictly hardcore. There's some great junior heavies and non-deathmatch people there (Backseats, Sonjay, Jimmy Rave, B-Boy) that put on tremendous matches. Check out the Best of the Best events, as they are showcases for indy standouts and juniors. AJ Styles was even in this past years. And for another good contest, check out Trent Acid vs. Homicide at Then and Now.

I'm sure a lot of it is only done because the camera is rolling. Remember kids, you're only seeing the "reality" that the cameras want you to see.
