  1. Nope, unfortunatly for me if my alarm doesn't go off and someone doesn't wake me, I could sleep for days. I have to keep my alarm on the other side of the room to prevent me from just turning it off, the last time I did that I ended up sleeping untill almost 4 in the afternoon.
  2. I'll be at RAW in Uncassville, CT Mohegan Sun on August 1 and Smackdown at the Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, CT on August 2.
  3. Mark Henry was recently resigned to a new contract for promotional appearences, so he's not going anywhere.
  4. We screened this one at work tonight, and I was surprised at how great it was. I think Steven Spielberg can be highly over rated at times, so I went into this not expecting much, but overall it was a very excellent film, probobly the best so far this year. If you can cast aside Tom Cruise's bizarre personal image, then he has a really great on screen presence. Dakota Fanning is a great actress for her age, although her character in this film gets really grating at times, there are moments in this film where you will simply wish you reach your hand into the screen and slap her. I really don't see anything else on the horizen this summer that's gonna top this, as I'm expecting Fantastic Four to dissapoint. Overall this is definitly worth your time and money to go and see, 8.5/10
  5. Well, aprox. 24 Hours late, I'm feeling fine. My jaw is still a little sore where they were removed, but it's no biggee. My only issue now is that I still can't eat solid foods untill at least monday for fear of mucking something up. Oh well.
  6. Shaquille O'Neil Doink the Clown (Come on now, that Wrestlemania game was definitly a fighter, and NOT a wrestling game) Rockman
  7. After 3 years of Braces to straighten out my teeth, it was suggest by my orthodontist that I have my wisdom teeth removed lest my teeth shift crooked again. After consulting an oral surgeon it was determined that despite the fact that they weren't bothering me in the least, my lower wisdom teeth should be removed. So I had the procedure done today. I was put to sleep, and woke up without even a clue as to what happened to me. At first it was bleeding like heck, and hurt like a bitch, but it has subsided now at least a little. Unless the pain becomes absolutly excruciating, I really don't want to have to take anything stronger then Tylenol. I feel fine now, but my jaw is still completely numb. My fear is that once the numbing subsides, THAT'S when the real pain is going to come. Anyone have an experience with this? Is the worst over?
  8. There's no rhyme or reason to the draft, no specific rules laid out. During the initial draft, tag teams were allowed to be drafted as one pick, and Vince even got all 3 nWo guys as one pick as well. What use would Daivari be by himself?
  9. Got these from someone who was at the taping This weeks draft pick was Hassan and Daivari Main event is Guerrero vs Mysterio More detailed results should be up in the morning Geez, they're really raping Smackdown of their talented and popular workers, and adding a bunch of crap from RAW, aren't they?
  10. http://www.brandweek.com/brandweek/search/...t_id=1000964222 Wrestlemania DVD set? I'm there.

    JR 1993-1996

The first time JR was fired was simply a cost cutting measure.
  12. Yeah they do skip over the 97 period, but frankly that period was forgettable anyways.
  13. I got it at Wal-Mart for 17 bucks as well.
  14. Although I still haven't finished the Greatest Stars of the 80's disc, I picked the Road Warriors DVD up yesterday, and it's another fine disc from WWE. The main feature is similar the the ones found on other discs, mainly just an overview of their career including all major feuds in all the different promotions. It features interviews with Animal, Paul Ellering, Barry Darsow, Jerry Lwler, Jim Ross, John Laurenitis, Eric Bischoff, and a few of the younger workers talking about their memories of LOD. It basically covers all the major points of their career, fromt starting out as bouncers in Minnesota, to working the AWA, NWA, WWE, WCW and then WWE again. They mention Hawks fall from grace, with his dissapearence in 1992, and his deamons tha haunted him during his second WWE run, although Jim Ross seems to refuse to admit that the drunk Hawk angle was in bad taste. Overall, it's a great feature for any LOD fans, or any wrestling fans really that are looking for a history lesson. The extra features include: Disc 1 NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling Road Warriors vs Joe Yong and Randy Barber NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling Road Warrirors vs Arn Anderson and Paul Jones NWA WCW Omni Texas Tornado Match vs Brisco Brothers w/ alternate commentary from Animal and Jim Ross NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling Road Warrirors vs Mike Jackson and Stone and Promos from NWA Georgia Championship Wrestling 8/27/83 AWA All Star Wretling 7/28/84 AWA ESPN Championship Wrestling 10/15/85 NWA Championship Wrestling 10/3/87 NWA WCW 10/10/87 NWA WCW 1/28/89 WCW Wrestlewar 2/25/90 Brutus Beefcakes Barber Shop Wrestling Challange 9/28/91 Royal Rumble 1/21/92 IYH: DX 12/7/97 Hawk Tribute from Confidential Trophy Room Paul Ellering "Go for it" Michael Hayes "A lesson for striving in success" Road Warriors Music Video Disc 2 AWA All Star Wrestling vs Larry 'The Axe' and Curt Hennig AWA Superclash vs Fabulous Freebirds Jim Crocket Memorial Cup vs Magnum TA and Ronnie Garvin w/ COmmentary from JR and Animal Great American Bash Russian Chain Match vs Ivan and Nikita Koloff Starrcade Skywalkers Match vs Midnight Express Starrcade Tag title match vs Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson New Orleans NWA Tag title Match vs Midnight Express WWF Challange vs Demolition WWF Wrestlefest vs The Hart Foundation Tokyo Egg Dome vs Hulk Hogan and Genichiro Tenryu w/ Commentary from JR and Animal Summerslam vs The Nasty Boys Summerslam vs Money Inc. Superbrawl vs Sting and Lex Luger RAW vs The Godwinns The only thing that dissapoints me is that there's no easter eggs featuring the original Rocco viginettes / promos, but oh well, can't have everything.
  15. What is your source? The numbers I'm looking at show every Wrestlemania except XI, XII, XIII and XIX beating One Night Stand. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can't compare shows prior to about 1992 to shgows post-1992 by the buyrate number, you'd have to compare them by the actual total number of buys. Prior to 1992, the potential audience with Pay per View Capabilities was small, so a 10.2 is the percentage of people who orderd the show out of all people who could hav epotentially done so. As the number of people who have the ability to order increases, the buyrate number decreases, even if the number of people ordering is greater.
  16. The jury has reached a verdict, it'll be read at aprox. 4:45 Eastern.
  17. Why? There's no need for another show. This was an awesome sendoff to ECW, and there's no need at all to go beyond this. Anything after this is just a bastardization done simply for the money. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The fuck is your problem? This is the kinda of event that we have all been waiting for, for nearly five years! This was amazing! This is how wrestling should be! Why the fuck wouldn't you want events like this all the time? Don't be a fuckwit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You simply CAN'T do events like this all the time. The injuries would be insurmountable. There's a reason why nearly every single WWE match has the same plodding formulaic style. It's becasue their wrestlers are an investment, and they can't afford to have them go out there and kill one another and risk being put on the shelf for 6 months,

    Tyson vs McBride

Wooow, as probobly the only person ont his board stupid enough to order this train wreck, I can honestly say that I got my 45 dollars worth. The first 2 fights were a total washout, although the women weren't bad, the maine vent was something else though. They went at it back in fourth without stopping for the first four rounds, but McBride was clearly dominating by the end of Round 5 in what would ahve been the end of the fight had the bell not rung. The fifth and Sixth rounds saw a desperate Tyson go back to his old tactics of headbutting and other shenanigans. Finally at the end of the Sixth Round, McBride simply pushed Tyson to the mat, and Tyson had noticably lost his composure and had a hard time getting up after that. That was when he called the fight. I'm shocked really, although I know I shouldn't be.
  20. The fuck? Is that for real? Does it eventually go back to normal? Either way, there's no way in hell I'd ever do that to my wang.
  21. Honestly, at the movie theater where I work, we have some auditoriums with Sony, some with DTS, and some with Dolby, and the DTS always sounds far and beyond the best of the three.
  22. Anyone have any clue, is the US release of High Tension dubbed or subbed?
  23. That ones up at SnuffX, and it may be the most revolting sexual act I've ever seen, and that says a lot.
  24. Yeah, I've heard from others that it's a rediculous hassle to even get in the audience for a taping, and that you basically HAVE to either be part of a large college / military group, or have some sort of really offbeat personality to actually make it onstage. Oh well, I'd still love to go.
