That's just it. I hate how they always proved her right every time someone disagreed with her. Her plan was stupid. They just got slaughtered by Caleb and she wanted to run back and fight him. Yeah, they even had that one SiT talk about how they were punished for daring to disobey Buffy. Blah. Buffy was so annoying by the end of that show. Also: Even though I knew it was coming, I marked out for Ethan Rayne. He's so great. Didn't really explain how he got out of jail though.

I was HHH, and I actually didn't win. Came pretty close though. The only reason I did at all ok was because the draft was completely insane. I had the 20th and 21st pick in the draft, which should have been death, but a lot of the people ahead of me made some shitty picks. I definately remember the Tampa defense being taken, and I think Mike Vanderjagt was also taken. I managed to grab Ahman Green with the 20th pick, and Tiki Barber with the 21st. I also managed to pick up some quality players in later rounds, like Trent Green (who was 3rd in fantasy QBs last year) and Darrell Jackson. I don't think that will happen again this year, as everyone seems rather draft savvy. I'm guessing the Pats defense goes early, but not first-round early. And if Ahman Green is still around at the 20th pick, you are all terrible people.

I've wondered this about the people in this thread. Who still watches wrestling? The more I got into Buffy/Angel, the less I could stand WWE. I found it hard to care about wrestling when shows like Angel really delivered. I used to religiously watch Raw, and now even if it's on and I'm at home with nothing to do, I still would rather do something else. Weird, since I've been watching wrestling forever. Anyways, thoughts?

Earlier in the thread, you said you saw the QBs going in the first three rounds, and Peyton Manning/Jamal Lewis going 1-2. I didn't mean it as a knock against you or anything, everyone has a different draft strategy, and it's cool seeing new ones.

I have no idea what's going on with half the yahoo rankings. Some guys are ranked insanely high, some very very low. It's really bizarre. I'm used to the mock drafts over at sportingnews.com, and the drafts all seem to go the same way; it's interesting seeing people with different ideas like Flik.

So why would I want a ps2 Action Replay? What makes it good for ESPN? If you know where to get updated rosters, let me know. I know I'll want them.

It's kinda annoying not having the depth charts set up, since you can't update the rosters on a ps2 without a network adapter. I'm considering picking one up just for 2K5 though. God, I'm so stoked for this game, it's going to ruin my exams (in a good way though).

I say we wait until the last season is out on DVD. Raven's comment was awesome. I don't get the lust towards Lindsey Lohan. She's nothing special.

Mirna was annoying, but her crush on the host was amusing. And I got a kick out of how everyone was "chasing the midget" at one point in the ep. That team's "we're strong and we can do anything!" attitude was annoying as hell. God Squad was also annoying, but in a more amusing way. Had to like the guy's "She needs to learn that we have to trust god" after he arbitrarily makes a decision. I don't really like any of the teams so far. The trampling was pretty low, too. I was really hoping that the twins would at least hug or something when they finished. Maybe kiss. Erika was the cutest out of the bunch though.

I'll add those in. EDIT: Blocked kicks already add 2 points to the defense. I'll make it three. I've found that some of the rules, even though I added them, don't seem to be on the list of rules. I have a penalty of 5 points for missed field goals under 30 yards, but it isn't in the rules that you guys can see. People in my league, ignore the drafting position it has you in. It forces me to put you guys in a position right now, but that'll be randomly decided before the draft.

We'll do a draft. I'd like to have it a little later than now though, maybe in mid-August. That way we can avoid some of those first round injury style picks. I'll set the tentative date as Aug 20, 6 pm EST (3 pm PST). Also, the scoring in my league isn't completely set. I'm not sure if there are enough people for that. We had what, 20 people in the yahoo league last year? And that fell apart. Anyways, Yahoo now has it's leagues up. I think this league should be keeper, so you have to be planning on sticking around for next year and the year after and whatnot. 12 is the usual size for a league, and since it's keeper I think that should be good. Maybe 16 for the Yahoo league. Anyways, the Keeper league is called "SmartMarks", and the password is "mark". It's located here. There's no limit to how many players are in the league. I'm thinking whoever can join, and we can weed out the players down to 12 based on who is most committed to a keeper league.

I loved the father. "I don't use that word, and I don't practice it". I got the line wrong, but it was gold all the way. And you had to like Bryce's terrible poetry, it's just too bad he couldn't work the word "effulgent" into it. The new schmoe was unexpected, but likable. Nowhere near Ingrid in terms of looks though. Fun ep, had me cracking up throughout. Now Bryce can come back as the stalker like Starvenger said, and it'll be great. Gerald was also really good this week, his performance at the lie detector was flawless. And TJ's ceremony speech? "Your mom is hot". And she still picks him over the poetry freak. Good times.

Gavin~ was in Spiderman 2. Guy seems to be doing pretty well for himself, what with the recurring role on 24 and bit parts in other shows/movies. I saw him on Voyager too (in what was a shockingly good episode).

Have Venom or Carnage kill MJ? I personally would have Spiderman save her at the last second from some abduction/explosion. Then as he swings off into nowhere before it fades to black, he accidently drops her into traffic.

They would look stupid in pajama's. Imagine the X-Men or X2 with everyone wearing blue and yellow spandex, it would have looked retarded. People are allowed to change things when adapting for film, and some changes are (shockingly) for the best. SP2 was excellent. The only problem I had is Dunst as MJ. MJ has an astronaut, a billionaire, and a superhero after her; she should be much much hotter than Dunst.

Definately a good Spike moment. He was so awesome pre-chip. Love the third ep Brian. They're quite fun to read, and you can really visualize the episodes.

I'm not sure if the Canucks have room for all three. Demitra would be a great fit, and it would be nice to get a big forward presence. But Kariya doesn't quite fit what the Canucks need...they have plenty of non-physical skill forwards (the Sedins, Naslund, etc). He's a good local boy and I wouldn't mind if the Canucks signed him, but there are more pressing needs for the Canucks (cough GOALIE cough). God, a half-decent goalie and the Canucks could have gone all the way the last two years.

ESPN Foorball has some annoying glitches too. Two-minute drill, march down the field, roll left and throw. Receiver makes an incredible diving catch and rolls out of bounds. His body was all over the ground a few yards inbounds, but since his feet didn't technically touch the ground, it's ruled as incomplete. Totally evil.
