  1. Man, I would so cuddle with Dixie Carter. And while doing so, give her booking advice and storyline ideas. God that'd be hot.
  2. TNA needs to do some cross promotion with UFC. Basically the only reason I feel this way (and the only reason I need to feel this way) is to have Matt Hughes give his thoughts on Jeff Jarrett. "Jeff Jarrett, who's Jeff Jarrett? Who has he beat? The guy's a joke, that's what he is. If wrestling needs someone who talks about how great he is, despite not actually accomplishing anything in his entire career, well, then he'd be perfect for that spot. The guy hits people with a guitar. That's ridiculous. He played second fiddle to Debra McMichaels breasts. He calls himself King of the Mountain? I've defend my belt 7 or 8 times, and I don't have a nickname. I don't need one. My success is the only nickname I need. I don't need a guitar, or some lackeys at my side. I have a fight team, the best fight team, but they don't fight my fights. Anyone who does that is a coward, in my opinion." Of course, all of this said in the straight-forward, 100% confident Matt Hughes style.
  3. Edge: This is the show THEY don't want you to see! Fan: So why are we seeing it? Seriously, it's not the grand canyon of logic. Either have him censored whenever he's about to say something on TV, have him go on-line and say this shit on his website (conveniently referenced (or hacked) though WWE.com), say he has photos of some top brass, or SOMETHING to explain why he's out there and is not being censored. Him just saying shit and then going on about how its taboo doesn't make it controversial. We know they are allowing it, so how about helping us believe they aren't?
  4. I think it's quite the opposite with Edge. He sounds very scripted, to me. The problem with Edge being "censored" is that if they really didn't like what he was saying, they'd cut to a commercial. So clearly he's not being censored. They need to explain that some how for it to work. Maybe Edge pays off the production people? Maybe he's good friends with Kevin Dunn. They could do one segment with Edge and Kevin Dunn with Edge explaining who Kevin Dunn is, and explains that Kevin Dunn loves controversy, and that Dunn allows for Edge to get away with saying stuff that the locker room or "the office" doesn't want to hear.
  5. Any display of skill, whether in a highly competitve match or a one-sided drubbing makes for a good-excellent match depending on the level of skill displayed. Both Fedor/Nog fights, to me, are excellent matches. Fedor is brilliant in them. When it comes to fighting, to completely shut down an opponent an amazing thing.
  6. Damn, Lei really doesn't like Monson. ... I think I may have to start cheering for him.
  7. There's something about someone who isn't from the carny school of wrestling say there will be a surpise that makes me trust them. We need to start a Damn You Dixie club...
  8. Ok. So who hid MMA Tracker from me? Was it you BR4L? It was you, wasn't it? Link me please In response, I shall post: http://forum.fight.ro/viewtopic.php?t=2098 So many fights...
  9. Yeah, her saying that makes me consider buying the PPV. That and Styles vs. Joe. Fuck.
  10. Did you download UFC 37? If so, from where? I've been trying to find it for a while now.
  11. Dan Hendersons Big Right Hand Sakuraba: Mongolian Chops
  12. I drive really slow, in the ultra-fast lane, while people behind me are goin insane.
  13. I kinda like it in a Terry-Funk-Moonsault kinda way.
  14. Shogun's flying stomp then transitioning to face smashing when he's on top of his opponent. Loiseaus and St Pierres spinning back kick and elbows Noguieras triangle choke, armbar, and anaconda choke
  15. *does the sprinkler*
  16. 4 fucking pages for Christy? I am absolutely shocked people give a shit about this.
  17. Alright. Here's how it goes. *Segment opens with Hayes walking down a hall, sees Murdoch sittin in a lawn chair, an open cooler at his side, and an open beer in his hand. * "You can't drink that in here, Mr. Murdoch" "Whuh?" "You can't drink that beer in here." "Did you just call me "Mister Murdoch"?" "Alright, "Trevor", you can't drink that backstage. Against company policy" "Now hows bouts that, Michael PS Hayes, tell me I can't drink my beer... shoot... and "Company Policy"... now that's a damn shame, the ol freebird is now a company man..." "Are you gonna throw that drink out or what?" "I think, the question is, are you gonna sit down and grab a cold'un, or are you gonna be that company man that you would have spat on years ago.." "That was a different life" "Ain't no life but the one we lead, boss. Nothin different bout this one." "Ain't that the truth..." *Murdoch offers Hayes a beer* *Segment ends* *Segment, later on in the show, opens with Slaugther walkin down the hall, as he stops to see Murdoch sittin in a lawchair, wasted. The camera pans over to show Hayes in the other chair, also wasted.* Then over the next few weeks you have Hayes and Murdoch sittin back, shootin the shit, eventually joined by other wrestlers who say fuck the whole corporate life and company suits and sit down in a lawn chair and get a drink from the cooler. This becomes the stable. Bunch of guys who drink, eat, fuck chicks, and kick the shit outta other guys for money. Gotta have some BBQ there, TV on watchin football, maybe some kids runnin around for no reason. Maybe even have a trailer set up in the parking lot or a truck, like a tailgate. Whenever a wrestler has to go wrestle, he gets up from his lawn chair, says "see ya, boys" and gets in the ring. Win or lose, he gets paid, either got his ass kicked or kicked some ass, and now is back to have another beer. Then when they're confonted, PS Hayes can cut one of those killer promos. They could feud with all the Yankees and shit.
  18. Well, 20 years from now ask a 20 year old...
  19. He needs to be involved with Murdoch somehow. Hayes promos + Murdochs facial expressions = next Ken Kennedy.
  20. I fail to see how Benjamin looking retarded by tagging himself in and proceeding to get beat within seconds and Shawn Michaels having a "what the fuck?" look on his face does anything good for him. Sure, it hints at a feud between the two, but they could have done that without pointing out how shitty Sheldon Benjamin is. Btw, the tag match was horrible. Did everyone decide to not gel? The only plus here was that Benjamin got to use his deep badass blackman voice in the prematch promo with Shawn. Shawn not caring what other people think goes against just about everything he does in the ring. Vince McMahon as a Judge and the trial of Eric Bischoff was pointless, and even worse, not funny. They build the whole show towards something we knew was going to happen, and failed do deliver on a GM (from what I am told, I stopped watching after the tag match). The only good part was Foley and his lunch box. The rest were just really lame jokes and a pathetic attempt at using legal jargon (which the WWE has a knack for). If the WWE doesn't introduce a new tag team to RAW and build them concurrently with Big Show and Kanes monster push, I fail to see the purpose of Show/Kane partnership. The 3 Team Squash was certainly effective in getting over their dominance, but to not build a potential threat to the tag champs at the same time renders the Show/Kane team worthless. The Edge segment was bad and awkward up until Hayes got on the mic and then proceeded to bury nearly every WWE wrestler by cutting a promo that was lightyears ahead of what's been said on WWE television.
  21. Like I said, they have to renew the Trademark every 10 years. That this one was originally trademarked in 1985, and that this is 2005, sorta suggests that's why they did it. The updated trademark extended to various digital media because it wasn't relevant in 1995 because that sorta thing either didn't exist or wasn't prevalent.
  22. Which makes "Renewed the Trademark" sound like a reasonable answer, right? RRR: Wondering how many people has him on ignore.
  23. I think the new girl is shadowcat.
  24. Couldn't the same thing be said for the WWE threatening legal action against fansites? Look at it from an internet perspective. Someone types "WWF" in a search engine, instead of getting results linking Fund websites, they get wrestling websites. I never heard any complaints regarding mistaken donations, though.
