  1. Most brands that have worldwide recognition are valued at over a billion dollars. The WWF in particular, which relies heavily on its brand name to get donations and support, probably values their brand more than most corporations. To compromise their brand name, even by licensing to the WWE and putting restrictions on the initials, would require -in my view- hundreds of millions in compensation. But the WWF doesn't appear to want to let the WWE use their initials, even if there was compensation. WWE was 100% in the wrong in this situation. Damage would have been easy to prove for the WWF. Go up to anyone on the street and say "WWF" and see what their reaction is.
  2. To buy the initials, I can't see WWF letting them go for under 1 billion dollars.
  3. Do you know how much it would cost to get the rights to use the "WWF" trademark? 1. Trademarks need to be renewed every 10 years. 2. The WWE must have had "World Wrestling Federation" trademarked a long time ago. 3. "World Wrestling Federation" was never involved in the trademark dispute.
  4. 1. Was that juggernaut to Magnetos right (left to us) when he was making his speech in the woods (and who Magneto frees?). I'm pretty sure it is. Wow. Looks like Crap. 2. What was up with the beats? 3. What's this story about? Humans vs. Mutants? I saw laser blasts? Sentinels?
  5. Maybe they are just renewing the trademark. I don't think the WWE has enough money to pay the Fund for the use of the initials.
  6. *marks out for Snitsky fanny pack and Tomko driving a KIA minivan.
  7. Shelly and Dutt need to feud or team, stat.
  8. When Kennedy cuts a money promo rather than a novelty promo, then you can talk about how great he is on the mic.
  9. "I never dreamed bigger than this, so I feel like I am truly blessed that God and WWE has given me this opportunity." Putting God and Vince on the same level. C'mon Joey, you already got the job, no need for that.
  10. It also gives him a sort of importance. "This is how far JJ will go to recruit Haas, so there must be something about Haas worth all this struggle" plus it allows for a blow-off match, plus it contrasts how JJ has Team Canada and AMW on his side (they're in it for the money, power, etc. Haas didn't care about that stuff, but when its his wife on the line...). I don't think the angle could last long, maybe a PPV or two. 3 Months tops from start to finish. You could work in all the cliches from "we've got your (wife) held hostage" movies (for example, Haas holds Gail Kim hostage and tells JJ to give back Gayda 'or else', JJ says 'go ahead, do what you want, i don't care' and Haas' bluff is called and he lets GK go... GK slaps JJ across the face for the betrayal and JJ says "Baby, I knew he was lyin". Haas would also provide for a nice distraction for JJ's next challenger (let's say Christian), so they can delay the Christian/JJ feud in a reasonable way. Of course, at the end, Haas and Christian make an agreement which ends up saving Jackie Gayda and screwing over JJ. Christian and Haas then team together to battle the evil forces.
  11. Basically. They don't have one of those in TNA, do they?
  12. I think if Jackie cut a promo giving her reasons for being there, and then JJ says "Well, I tried to do this the nice way... but Charlie, you ain't playin ball, so I gotta do this my way" and clocks Gayda with the guitar and holds her hostage, telling Haas that if he doesn't show up and help him out at X Event, then it's so long to Jackie Gayda.
  13. Go to hell you sumbitch! *Shotguns Shotguns for Team Rudo*

  16. Imanari vs Hansen hxtp://rapidshare.de/files/3127167/Bushido_8_-_Imanari_vs_Hansen.WMV.html You want casual...
  17. Yeah, those fucking faggot panda fuckers.
  18. West seemed pretty knowledge about wrestling, actually. Though it seemed more like him parroting (though still understanding) what he has heard backstage or from Tenay.
  19. I disagree. The flashbacks both under the current circumstances and the theorized circumstances do the same thing - help explain why the character is the way he/she is. I can see how it would be a bit of a rip off since it never "really" happened, _but_ if you traded the memories among the survivors, then it *did* happen, just to another character. Or even if the memories aren't traded, then you can get into their real history.
  20. Why did anyone have to go over to RAW?
  21. Which could have been easily counter acted with a "You didn't really make him tap, you cheated, you never broke Benoits spirit. Chris Benoit is twice the man you are. You're not the greatest champion ever."
  22. While weight limits in the WWE would make sense, in TNA it doesn't realy work because they don't really have the diversity in talent size to get away with it.
  23. Your definition of suck, sucks. Benoit/HHH/HBK didn't make a lick of sense throughout its entire run and resulted in a lame duck run that only accomplished one thing: It put the belt on Orton, only to be taken by HHH a month later. Benoits title run on Smackdown would have been so much better and more meaningful.
  24. The Eddie/Brock storyline went for 3 weeks and HBK/HHH/Benoit sucked.
