  1. You should really think about changing your sig Pol; cause my attention can't help but gravitate away from whatever it is you are saying and down to... good lord I'd tap that.
  2. "Well gee, why aren't you a booker, then, eh? I think Dave Meltzer should run a promotion cause you're the most knowledgable person I've spoken to about wrestling" "Yeah, well, uh" *Dave makes an uncomfortable laughs* Ole saying Hulk Hogan wasn't a good draw is hilarious; which is a shame, cause he did make some good arguments before he went insane.
  3. Then Paul Heyman can get involved...
  4. I could book Goldberg well. *Albert comes out* Goldberg!!! There is only room for one bald jew in this promotion! And that's ME! ... thus begins the epic Goldberg/Albert feud of 03.
  5. Did anyone listen? That was, without doubt, the greatest interview I have ever heard on Professional Wrestling. Ole did not like Dave. Ole mocked Dave. Dave did not like Ole. They discussed pro wrestling. The rest, as they say, is histo-fucking-ry. Thoughts
  6. There's this guy. He's a lil known guy who was featured in some wrestlemanias in the past... not a huge role or anything, but if you watched closely, he was there... his name is something like "Hulk Hogan", dunno if you heard of him. He wrestled some WM matches in the past... Instead: "The Fabulous Moolah everyone! Let's give her a round of applause! And here's everyones favourite hero, Sgt. Slaughter! And who could forget the legendary Pat Patterson! Oh my, the legends are coming out tonight!"
  7. Positive: WWE finally using the internet as an interactive tool for its fans to use. Negative: "Is Stone Cold Kewl? 90% said Yes.."
  8. Goldberg doesn't work as a sympathetic babyface - he works as a dominating babyface monster... and like HHH said "He doesn't have 200 guys willing to lie down for him" in the WWE.
  9. Positive: WWE Top 50 Greatest Superstars of All Time Magazine. Oh, it sucks a fat giant moose testicle, but it has a picture of Taker wearing "UFC" gloves - with UFC as the label... YEAH! That fucking rocks. Oh yeah, Tito Ortiz at WM was cool, even if he was in the crowd. And Chuck Liddell on Confidential was also cool, even if it was a brief clip of him at the VGA's. MOLE! I KNEW IT! Oh, he'll trick you into thinking he's all innocent with his answering rhetorical questions and stuff, but he's really the mastermind behind a plot to HOLD DOWN various posters on THIS BOARD - including ME! He MUST be stopped, and YOU, YOU PIN, must stop him! *Votes Pinjockey 4 Mod*
  10. One BIG negative is Dames not classicing that thread, while putting some other dumbfuck thread in there instead.... YOU CANNOT DENY THE GENIOUS!
  11. Yeah, Taker was actually in top form in 03 IMO. Cept for the stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid Taker vs. Show/Lesnar match... but his Undertauro stylings is refreshing. The Ric Flair DVD is a big positive - not for Flair, so much, but for the fact that PEOPLE WILL BUY WRESTLING! MAKE MORE WRESTLING! USE WCW FOOTAGE! MORE! MORE! MORE! Tazz was a brightspot in the announcers chair. Quality Work. Tomko and Fertig - nuff sayed.
  12. Well, it's almost over. That's a plus Rosie's promos were pretty good this year. He has natural speaking skills and actually has some charisma - underused IMO.
  13. It worked with Kane vs. Big Show as well... well, for one match, which was 3 minutes long... they just stiffed each other with clotheslines and it was good. If Holly and Brock go at it "2/3 legit" ( Lance Storm ), there can be some entertainment value - if anything, for those who hate either man, to see them get the piss knocked out of them.
  14. In other news, I thought the 3rd member of the NWO would have been Yokozuna... .... ... .. . RRR: Uber Smark.
  15. If Nash led the NWO they'd be called the "No, i don't really wanna go out to the ring... somebody get me a stripper...hey rookie, yeah you, yeah you disco, i mean sanders, yeah, go get me a stripper... it doesn't matter what kind.. wait, no, get me an asian stripper, one with huge jugs... yeah, and have her wear a school girl outfit... and get hall a bottle of jack... dude, i so said "jack", heh heh... World Order
  16. Right and Wrong. The Silva in Silva vs. Herring IS the one from the WWE. The Silva you're talking about is also fighting that night, but in K-1... "Ernesto Hoost vs. Montanha Silva(K-1)" ...always trying to create the next Bob Sapp
  17. Ok, I hate this match being on PPV and taking the place of Benoit vs. Brock... Now, with that said... If Brock and Holly beat the shit out of each other - stiff each other to hell - then the match should be good... because it's very rare that you ever get that in the WWE.
  18. Holy crap, I've got like a dozen Rhodisms to steal and use as my own Rudoisms.
  19. It is the very same Silva. Freak Show. God bless PRIDE. The SP card looks AMAZING: 1. Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson It's Rampage fighting - all of his fights are worth watching. 2. Heath Herring vs. Giant Silva Freak Show! Herring has been sucking in 03 but seeing Silva in MMA makes this interesting. 3. Hayato "Mach" Sakurai vs. Daiju Takase SWEEEET! Sakurai rules and Takase is still riding high on his win over Anderson Silva - whom Sakurai lost to. 4. Akira Shoji vs. Murillo Ninja Ninja fighting = good. Shoji always brings it. Shoji lost against Ninja's brother, Shogun, at Bushido. It's pretty simple booking, yet it owns the WWE... 5. Hidehiko Yoshida vs. Royce Gracie Royce is my #1 All-Time-Fave. Yoshida owns. Their last fight (which you can find on Kazaa, hint hint), was really fun and really active on the ground. This is a BIG rematch and a well deserved one for Gracie - since the last fight ended with such controversy. 6. Don Frye vs. Gary Goodridge Big Daddy's last match, 0-2 vs. Frye (both in the UFC), I look forward to this. If Frye is smart he'll come right at Gary and unload. I like both fighters, both are entertaining characters, should at least be 'interesting'. 7. Wataru Sakata vs. Daniel Gracie Originally, this was supposed to be Ryan Gracie vs. Sakata; with the story being Sakata is Eiko Koikes boyfriend (Eiko being the female announcer for PRIDE, the one they keep showing in Nogueiras fights, and is ultimately one of the hottest women on the planet!) and that's basically it... Well, it's good enough for me~! 8. Yuki Kondo vs. Mario Sperry This is just an awesome fight that could be FOTY if it doesn't pull a Hendo/Busta. 9. Kiyoshi Tamura vs. Ronnie Sefo According to Da Meltz, Sefo is the brother of Ray Sefo - a K-1 Kickboxing star. Tamura is always fun to watch, this should be no different. 10. Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira YES! TON Baby! The Other Noguiera~! This should be a great ground battle; but I can see Sakuraba wanting to keep it standing. He hasn't faired very well against Brazilians this year, TON may be no different. This should be great. So from Top-to-Bottom, this card could very well be the show of the year... did I just say that???! Final Conflict? Total Elimination? Body Blow? Am I NUTS!?!
  20. Your section A can suck my section P -NIS. ZONG!

  22. Goldberg Let's put it this way, if this was 1998 and I said that Goldberg would be in the WWE in 5 years - you'd go fucking nuts, right? (Do not answer!) So 5 years later and *poof* dicknothin goin on here. Angle vs. Brock Seriously, we had been discussing this feud since, like, Summer of 02 and all the intricases and story that could be put into it... so what did they do? ABSOLUTELY NONE OF IT. Team Angle Not the team of Benjamin and Haas, but the concept itself. They were SPECIALIZED to take out Brock Lesnar - and what happened? HE DESTROYED THEM BOTH! SO much could have been done here.
  23. I really enjoy Pancrase, but I'd say my favourite shootstyle promotion is UWF-i, thus far... I still haven't seen any RINGS (aside from Noguiera/Tamura). But that's generally because Albright fucking rocks the germans (!) btw, I got 2 more Astroboy tapes - including the first episode... talk about getting hit with a bagfull of nostalgia. RRR: SO doing an Astroboy review in the future....
  24. Pancrase 1996 - following the King of Pancrase title. Notable Matches: Bas Rutten vs. Frank Shamrock Bas Rutten vs. Masa Funaki Both are fucking awesome. Bas/Frank has Frank acting like a total dick laughing at Bas hitting him on the ground while in a leg lock. Bas chuckling after Frank's "cover-up-then-hit" is hilarious. Good stuff all around. Funaki/Bas is sweet. Funaki generally dominates on the ground, but when they're up Bas levels him with knees.
