Sure, if you want to believe that.
-
But Benoit is better than Angle. ... just so we're clear.
-
Yeah, that's Alberts biggest problem - translating it all into a good match.
-
Don't forget his torture-rack neckbreaker and sitout gorilla press. Albert will get to do all of his neato-offense with Benoit - which is a plus. The minus is Benoit will die.
-
Angle/Lesnar from SS was horrible IMO. By "horrible" I mean "painfully adequate". Their WM match was only a lil bit better (hell, I thought Taker vs. Albert/Big Show was better). Rock vs. Austin at Mania was ***1/2, maybe. That's close to ****
-
Taker vs. Angle from Smackdown was pretty darn close. Eddie/Tajiri vs. Team Angle (all of the smackdown matches) was also really good. Benoit/Angle Rumble is also up there. Those are my picks for WWE MOTYC's, and are around ****.

Well I was about to, but AS already stole my thunder with saying Jericho is jobbing at Mania. *raises fist to the sky* Damn youze! -
I can't see Brian being the next one to go. I mean, the next one should be a rather big player, but not Brian. It should be one of the chicks - probably blondie. Brian's role is as the good-buddy, that's one that they stretch-out and really make an impact with. However, if you follow how they have been doing things (which is to say, who they have been focusing on), the focus has been on Hutch, Kip, Blondie, and that-other-chick. Brian has been more in the background - and the rule-of-thumb is the one who they spend the most time developing in post-production are the ones they go with all the way.

Really, anything in BIG BLOCK LETTERS is not worth wearing. That's just unsightly.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
RavishingRickRudo replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
The Season Finale is airing on Space tonight at 9 (or 8.... whatever). I might write a review of it as it was one awesome eps. that goes overlooked. The dialogue between Angel and Connor at the end is amazing and it's an all-around fun show. -

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

There's only one reasonable explanation here... Joss had a witch cast a spell to make us all forget that the actor who played Doyle also played Mark on Roseanne, and now that spell has worn off. -

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
RavishingRickRudo replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
So the eps. where Angel(us)'s "Old Friend" returns as a copy-cat killer aired today. Really good episode that probably could have been expanded upon for 3 shows as the premise was excellent and the story of Angelus's former pupil coming back into Angels life is big enough to warrant an arch. In other news, non-badass uber-british pussyfuck Wes annoys me (hurry up and get your throat cut!) Oh, And Kate is really, really, really fucking hot. It's a shame she will start to annoy me in a few eps. RRR: Just discovered that Doyle also played "Mark" on Roseanne... Where the fuck have I been? -

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7
RavishingRickRudo replied to The Dames's topic in TSM Classic Threads
But he already sacrificed himself in Season 5. THAT was much better than his death in Season 7 as it was the introduction to his selflessness. At that time we thought that his attraction to buffy was merely physical, but it went beyond that. A beaten up Spike telling "buffy bot" to never tell Glory who the key is, buffys reaction, was much more significant. -

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7
RavishingRickRudo replied to The Dames's topic in TSM Classic Threads
What are you talking about? Doyles death was build-up from the beginning. Spike established his self-sacrifice in Season 5 when he got tortured by Glory and didn't reveal who was the key (which, btw, was better than his death as well). So it didn't come as that much of a surprise when he did it in Season 7. Doyle's cowardliness and "self preservation" along with his affection for Cordy and admiration for Angel's "heroic properties" was well established during the season esp. in the eps. where he died. That same eps. also showed his regret in not helping his kind before and the shame that has given him. Cordy's feelings were shown when she asked him out to dinner and returned the kiss - which was a helluva lot more satisfying than Buffys pointless "I love you". They killed off a major character in the first season, that's more unexpected than killing off a major character in the very last eps. The end with the video was fucking heartbreaking; the way he was looking off camera and stumbling over words and the such, fuck, that shit was awesome in its imperfection.
