  1. That's true. But since it's an official Weezer product, I'm not surprised that they just skip over that whole period Rivers would seemingly love to forget. You'd have to wait for a "Behind the Music" for that one. Still, though, it's weird that they didn't acknowledge in any way when Matt Sharp left and was replaced by that other guy.
  2. "Hey, when I'm bored, I log on to outloud.yahoo.com". "Don't forget to chat!"
  3. The funny part is that everyone is making fun of attention spans here, but if you scroll down this thread from the 1st post to the one just above, it's pretty humorous to see what this thread slowly morphed into to get entirely away from the topic. And I know this post didn't help. Now, to remain on-topic... ...Oh look, a butterfly! ::skips away::
  4. 1st month free, $12.95 a month thereafter.
  5. I'm a 16.666666666666668% nerd. That ranks me as "n00b". Nerd Test
  6. I guess that would be James Brown -- Woodstock '99.
  7. If you poke around the site, you'll find a Top Vocalists list as well. That should spark another fresh round of flaming, too.
  8. It was released today, and bundled with "Final Fantasy XI" (which will also be sold separately) for $100. I'm not a Final Fantasy fan, and that's the only game that HDD fully supports right now (there are rumors of "SOCOM II" having new downloadable maps, skins and weapons, and "Resident Evil: Outbreak" will have faster loading times between rooms with it). I'm thinking of waiting to see if they bundle it with something else or by itself, which could take awhile. Also, people are saying the HDD itself costs $100 and that "Final Fantasy XI" is free of charge, so there's no use waiting for the HDD to come out by itself. But I have a suspicion that's all just hooey. But still, I'd like to hear what people who have it are saying about it. The HDD hardware review and the "Final Fantasy XI" review are both posted on ign.com.
  9. Best Drummers Let all the bitching and re-arranging begin.
  10. Ripper, some people just can't be gotten through to. I think I'm the only one that's hearing your question be repeated over and over.
  11. bigĀ·ot ( P ) Pronunciation Key (bgt) n. One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ. It is the same thing. The definition might be too old to specifically include "sexual preference" in its list, but it can be inferred from "group".
  12. -Mortal Kombat. I thought it was awesome when I was 16, but then I grew up.
  13. Transformers: The Movie Con Air Joe Dirt
  14. Jennine Garaffolo.
  15. Best part of the show: "Protect My Balls". I don't know if I'm getting soft, but I was feeling really bad for Butters on that show.
  16. Do you think that the Spaniard's reactions are ones of fear, or that of anger towards the elected officials that got them into the mess they're into, which would validate the recent election?
  17. If they could get a server decent enough to hold 30 players, that would be incredible. There would be nothing like randomly entering a rumble, knowing that a bunch of other dudes are watching you run down to the ring and have an impact (or impact on the concrete in a matter of seconds).
  18. But, as my earlier post indicated, no one really cares that he's saying this. Homophobia's never been a secret in rap, but rock stars saying similarly hateful things are subject to much harsher scrutiny. Remember the uproar over Sebastian Bach's "AIDS kills fags dead" shirt? Of course, you, Anglesault, et al. should go right ahead be glad he's man enough to hate fags. It's a free country. Because NOTHING was said about Eminem "homophobia" was there? He's white. Therefore the media have no problem attacking him. That's really all it boils down to.
  19. A Vince one would be Smackdown!: In This Very Ring.
  20. WWE Smackdown!: Holy Crap She Gave Birth To a Hand! Features: disturbing pre-match loading scenes. Actually, In the other WWE game thread, I bashed having an installment every year because it's not like games like WMXIX and HCTP are even stale yet and they're already hard at work making the same game with slight control improvements and updated rosters. But I'm not going to bash this--the idea of online gaming DOES sound pretty damn cool. I wonder if they'll let us bring CAWs onto the net as our wrestling personalities, or if they'll limit it to the real rosters for bandwidth reasons? And I wonder, if like clans for SOCOM II, if you could have "stables?"
  21. There's too many wrestling games out. There's no point. Every game that's come out in the last 3 years has said "improved gameplay mechanics" and "more sophisticated grappling system". And we get the same game as last year's installment, with, say, the Elimination Chamber added.
  22. 311 -- Their entire collection, because, well, today is 3/11 Day.
  23. So, what I've gathered is, you bought an XBox and hate everything that's out for it.
  24. I like Adventures like Zelda and Metroid. I really should run through "Windwaker" again. I'd do it for "Metroid Prime" too, but that one's just too long. FPSs can be great if done correctly. There's a lot of shitty ones just because there's so much you can fuck up. There need to be cool weapons (rocket launchers!) superb level design (good places to snipe, a big "room of death," vantage points of varying heights, etc.), and enough game modes (I hate it when games don't have elimination style deathmatches). A lot of these are why I like Perfect Dark and Timesplitters 2 the best. My least favs are RPGs and Sports.
