What is the story to those pictures?

Eyewitness: On the ground in Falluja As US military commanders in Iraq say they are planning to pull back from Falluja, BBC News Online spoke to two Iraqi residents of Falluja to get a picture of life in the besieged city. The BBC is currently unable to get its own reporters inside Falluja. Fadel al-Badrani, a Reuters reporter in Falluja, says it is calmer in the city today compared to the two previous days. "Every now and again, there is shelling. There was heavy shelling and exchange of fire about an hour ago in the industrial zone. "I've just heard that a family was killed in a civilian car, by US forces. The family was allowed into the city in a lull in the fighting. When the fighting resumed they were caught up in it. I'm told that they were hit by American fire from a plane." Mr Badrani describes the situation for the city's residents as a "severe humanitarian crisis", due to the lack of water and electricity supplies, and shortages of foods and medicines. "No aid is getting into Falluja right now. There are many families that cannot leave their houses because of the American snipers, especially in east, west and south. "For the last seven days, at least, all the international aid that has come into the city has been piling up at the Jordanian hospital to the east of Falluja." Running out of food Sabah Alani is a retired doctor. He spoke to BBC News Online from his home in the north east of Falluja, not far from the industrial zone where there has been heavy fighting over the last few days. "When the shelling happens, our house shakes, and most of our windows are shattered. Opposite us is a US sniper position. "We don't go out of the house at all, of course. We've run out of food. We are living off tea and bread." He also describes a severe humanitarian crisis, especially in the area he is in. "One day recently, I heard, 23 trucks of water and food made it to Falluja. They didn't get to the areas it's most needed - and are 23 trucks of water and food enough for the 150,000 people that are left in the city?" Driven to hate Mr Alani says that siege of the city and the shelling is just increasing support for the insurgents in the city. "It's not a matter of whether I or anyone else in the city supports the 'resistance' to the Americans. "I don't support them, but the way the Americans have dealt with and are dealing with this city makes me hate every American here, more and more." "We are being driven to hate them - me and everyone else here." Story from BBC NEWS: http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/pr/fr/-/2/hi/midd...ast/3670587.stm

In our earlier, more caveman-like stages, we had larger, longer jaws. This allowed for the whole set of teeth to protrude from the gums and function like intended. As we evolved, we got smaller jaw-lines. However, the same number of teeth remained. Now we have 4 useless teeth hanging around, pushing through the back of the mouth where there's no room and impacting themselves into everything. I hate wisdom teeth.

Let me tell you why I'm like no other president in history: •I attacked and took over 2 countries. •I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US Treasury. •I shattered the record for the biggest annual deficit in history (not easy!). •I set an economic record for the most personal bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period. •I set all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market. •I am the first president in decades to execute a federal prisoner. •In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did). •After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history. •I set the record for most campaign fund raising trips by any president in US history. •In my first two years in office over 2 million Americans lost their jobs. •I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history. •I set the all-time record for most real estate foreclosures in a 12-month period. •I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history. •I set the record for the fewest press conferences of any president, since the advent of TV. •I signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any other US president in history. •I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed •I cut health care benefits for war veterans. •I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind. •I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history. •I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history. •Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The poorest multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her.) •I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously struggle against bankruptcy. •I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any country in the history of the world. •I am the first president in US history to order a US attack AND military occupation of a sovereign nation, and I did so against the will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the international community. •I have created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States, called the "Bureau of Homeland Security"(only one letter away from BS). •I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history (Ronnie was tough to beat, but I did it!!). •I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission. •I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board. •I removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history. •I rendered the entire United Nations irrelevant. I withdrew from the World Court of Law. •I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions. •I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors access during the 2002 US elections. •I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations. •The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation). •I spent more money on polls and focus groups than any president in US history. •I am the first president to run and hide when the US came under attack (and then lied, saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1) •I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government. •I took the world's sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history). •I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability. •I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. •I set the all-time record for the number of administration appointees who violated US law by not selling their huge investments in corporations bidding for gov't contracts. •I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history. •I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down. •RECORDS AND REFERENCES: I have at least one conviction for drunk driving in Maine (Texas driving record has been erased and is not available). •I was AWOL from the National Guard and deserted the military during time of war. •I refuse to take a drug test or even answer any questions about drug use. (wink, wink) •All records of my tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to my fathers library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. •All records of any SEC investigations into my insider trading or bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. •All minutes of meetings of any public corporation for which I served on the board are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. •Any records or minutes from meetings I (or my VP) attended regarding public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review. With Love, George W. Bush The White House, Washington D.C. Not only is a lot of this subjective, but some of these things (federal execution, raising campaign funds) aren't neccessarily bad things.

Bring money. New York is expensive, and especially the tourist trap sections. Basically, you can't go wrong with any restaurant you choose. New York has some of the best food in the world. With that much competition, you have to be good to survive. If you're traveling by subway, make sure you look at the maps, make sure you're on the right subway line, on the right side of the platform (uptown/downtown), and notice whether or not a particular train is running express.

Really? I would disagree. I'd say "The Love Below" is more of a journey (the whole album has a similar theme of a man's quest to find love, and skits can sometimes be relevant to the track before or after). If there's one thing that doesn't fit, it's that last unfinished track that should have been left out. I think "Speakerboxxx" is more of the collection of tracks you accuse "The Love Below" of being.

So does anyone have any experiences they liken to a past life memory? I had one dream that felt very, very real. I was in a World War, riding on a tank, I believe, through a European field when an explosion went off underneath and I was thrown from the tank. By the time I got back to a kneeling position, Germans ran out from the thickets. I raised my arms in surrender, but one just lunged forward and gouged my throat with a bayonette anyway. I saw blood shooting straight out of my neck. I crumpled into a heap while I spiraled upwards, away from my body. My last thoughts were to a pair of old people that I don't know, but in my dream I recognized as my parents, back home in Ohio or Iowa or something like that, receiving the news. Most likely a dream, but it felt so incredibly real. Plus, it's fun to speculate that it was.

That's really the best description of MikeSC I've seen.

From CNN.com: IRS sues cafeteria worker over princess' millions $2.1 million tax refund CHESTER, Pennsylvania (AP) -- The government is suing a cafeteria worker who received a $2.1 million tax refund by claiming to be a Hawaiian princess and heir to a billion-dollar estate, authorities said. The money that the Internal Revenue Service sent last month to Abigail Roberts, 61, who works in Widener University's cafeteria, came from funds the real princess had on deposit with the IRS, according to court documents. Federal authorities say Roberts fooled the IRS by using the social security number of the genuine heiress, Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawananakoa, on her tax form. Kawananakoa, 73, is heir to the Campbell estate, one of the largest landowners in Hawaii. "They're saying I'm not who I say I am," said Roberts, who was born in Hawaii as Charlotte Veronica Kuheana and lives with her husband in the Philadelphia suburb of Chester. "I am the last heir. The only regret that I have is that no one believes I am telling the truth," she said. The IRS used warrants to get most of the tax refund back earlier this month from the bank where the couple deposited it. The agency is suing Roberts and her husband to recover more than $100,000 that apparently was spent. Authorities said it is not the first time Roberts has collected from the IRS that way. In 2001, she was acquitted of alleged tax-refund fraud for more than $34,000 she received in 1994 from a trust set up by Hawaiian royalty. Her attorneys claimed she was suffering from an "irrational insistence upon an identity that is not her own." A federal judge ruled in that case there wasn't enough evidence to show Roberts had an intent to commit a crime but warned her that she had no legal right to proceeds of the estate, according to court documents.

Now it's just being called a plain-ol' accident.

I, too, thought it was overrated. It looks cool, but I stopped playing and I'm not compelled to finish it.

Some are wondering if it was a type of assassination attempt.

Hey, I agree that spoken promotion of the religion shouldn't be forced on the populace, but if it gets striken down for that reason, then there's really no argument left for "under God" in the Pledge. -
You're forgetting the Christmas Special. "But do you recall the most famous elf of all? Mitch. He had three legs." I loved the theme song, but hated when they changed it.

Well, I would assume that no CAWs would be able to be loaded while in the Smackdown! universe, because I could see the lag issues there being huge. There would have to be a huge incentive not to abort...like when you do it in SOCOM II you take a hit to your ranking. That would mean they would have to implement a ranking system for Smackdown! Like, when you're a noob you can only play in the Velocity rooms until you work up to the RAW rooms, etc.

I'll be perfectly happy if it's the same game, since I just want to get online with it.

I don't know. There's too many bad choruses on "Speakerboxxx." That's another reason why I don't like it as much.

"Love Below". That a rap album can be so experimental, forward-thinking, show a rapper who is emotionally vulnerable and not trying to be a thug gangster, and still be a commercial success should be a major lesson to the industry and Andre's peers. It's a road map for the direction rap should move in.

That's because Kenny's voice in the movie was a Mike Judge cameo.
