Well, to be fair all 3 just got shitkicked by Batista so they would've been nothing but cannon fodder anyway. But they COMPLETELY disappeared. How long would that last though? Especially if Edge wins without the Money in the Bank and Christian now has a title shot lined up. Instant tension. As I recall its the same music they used to promote Kane doing Taker's "eulogy" on Smackdown after Survivor Series 2003. Though it made some sense there as it was Taker's old music they were using.

Overall, how was the show? Sounds like the best Smackdown PPV since last year's draft, and other than Jordan winning it seemed like the right people went over.

Worse than Eddie's? Holy crap. For some moments in the match, Cena's face was pure red it looked like. Foley in IWA Death match bloody? I'd say so... Damn, I have to see some caps of this.

I was thinking Cena-Eddie (unless they decide to keep the Eddie-Rey feud going and hold this match until Summerslam) or Cena-Angle (It is the Great American Bash after all though Kurt could be gone thanks to the draft by then) with Cena-Angle-Booker as a faint possibilty. Booker and Cena has been done to death in the last year and only produced one good match (The Championship semi-final right before No Way Out). They really wouldn't go back to it would they?

I still find it funny that a throw-away feud between Booker and Heidenreich caused the latter to have a complete character change and really start to get over with the crowd.

How was the match itself?

Taking into account how poor up the build-up for this match has been, the best I'm hoping for is that Sharmell teases turning on Booker but betrays Angle instead. At least it would be something we haven't oh the LAST SIX DAYS.

...does that mean one of them will be wearing a black helmet in their next match? Ironic that the non-masked one is more like Vader.
