I don't think there's any way that the Seinfeld finale could've been anything BUT a letdown. People just had such unattainable hopes for it that no matter what it wouldn't have made them happy.

I still think ER at it's peak is one of the best dramas of all time. Edwards, La Salle, Clooney, Wyle, Stringer, Marguilles, Macy and the supporting cast was fucking incedible. Broke ground for shit like CSI by dealing with a difficult and morbid job and showing how stuff like that can affect your personal lives.

He can't be that much of a badass if he's allowing these insults to go unchallenged.

Last night it was more or less decided that over three weeks we'll be definetly hitting up London, Paris and Amsterdam with likely stops in Austria and possibly Italy.

Oz introduced me to male full-frontal on cable tv. I'm not sure if I should thank it for that but it was a good show in it's time. I just don't think that the sum of it's parts can equal the work of Deadwood in terms of an overall story. Different sides of the same fence, I suppose. Oz is fairly epic in terms of size and scale and time is a huge factor in terms of how the stories were played out. I loved Deadwood for pretty much the same reason because it's the opposite. The events in Deadwood occur over less then 2 years if my memory serves correct but the way it's drawn out to feel like an ancient story is awesome.

My friend that I'm going with has family in London so we're covered financially for that portion of the trip which is nice. The trip would most likely be March-April timewise but I wouldn't give a shit about the weather in Ireland, I'd just want to visit regardless. Give some family a holler.

The Simpsons are going to end up being the Ric Flair of television. Good early years, amazing during it's prime and generally regarded as the best ever during said period but so bogged down by its undeniably shitty later years that it's legacy will be forever tarnished.

I'm not gonna disagree but the fact that I haven't seen Season Three of The Wire prevents me from totally agreeing with you. I will concede that if there is a show that could rival Deadwood it's easily The Wire. God what I wouldn't give for a whacky episode of The Wire where a time machine transports Bodie, Marlo, Snoop, Chris and Omar back to Deadwood.

Doubtful. With Mexico, Canada and England being added to the plate this year the Aussies are gonna be waiting until 2008 unless Elvis Sinosic shows up and starts, ya know, winning fights.

Deadwood is the best tv show of this decade, possibly of all time and Ian McShane's performance of Al Swearengen is the greatest role in the history of television. Lost, Sopranos, The Shield, all of them pale in comparison to this show. There has never been a bad episode or even a "throwaway" episode for that matter. It's like a beautiful book that has already been written and week by week you're seeing another chapter unfold. Best cast of all time for that matter too. Bring it.

Marquadt/Lister is likely off of the UFC 66 card and instead will be on the UFN card on January 28th. I'm beyond scared that UFC will make this the main event. They should know better given who's involved.

Poor Nate. He was a good guy and solid player but the fact that he (nor any other members of his tribe) considered the ramifications of Yul holding the immunity idol showed that they were not nearly as ready for the merger as Yul, Becky, Ozzy and Sundra. It was simple math, really. Jonathan, Candance, Adam and Yul were the only people to spend time on Exile Island and none of them ever thought that Yul could've found it. Morons. Jonathan is fucked. Ozzy, Sundra, Yul or Becky would love to take him to the final two because it's a guaranteed win and he'd be stupid to turn down a chance at a million dollars but he knows in his heart that there's no way he can win it.
