  1. David Cross summed up Paris and Nicole to a tee in three word: Rich.Giggling.Cunts.
  2. Well that's pretty fucking retarded. If we're teaming up players from random seasons I want Jonathan the Douche and Ray the Hard Black Man.
  3. I was hoping for "Dead" or "Kills herself" but this is the next best thing to read.
  4. There are pictures at Alonso's house of him with Crockett and Tubbs so yeah.......you're wrong.
  5. That Dana and Xyience story is complete bullshit, btw. And Lindland back in UFC is pretty cool as he's become a better and different fighter since leaving. Rampage/Chuck or Rampage/Tito would be $$$$ for UFC.
  6. Who is the highest paid in UFC? Is it Liddell or was it Hughes? The only way to even have a chance at Mirko is if they did pull out all the stops, and then some.... And they want Sylvia to lose the belt? Not surprising to me either, but that leaking out is not a good thing for UFC if they are trying (and very hard, mind) to create and maintain an air of legitimacy. I don't think it at all effects the legitimacy of the UFC, they're a business and for a business to run successfully you need to know what your strengths and weaknesses are. Tim Sylvia as your HW champion is not a strength. You're using the phrase "air of legitimacy" as if they aren't.
  7. Yikes, Leo can't be happy with the results of Blood Diamond.
  8. Only way Tito takes this is via cut stoppage and he'll need to get Chuck down in order for it to happen.
  9. Yeah, fuck UFC on this one. They know full well that Tito/Chuck will draw on it's own so they present a fairly lacklustre undercard and stock the show with HW's in a futile attempt to get people to care. I'm interested in seeing Bisping fight and Leben/MacDonald should be fun but other then that there's no reason why I should care about this show. Having said that if Tito wins (LOLLLERS) it would change the LHW landscape dramatically so there is a ray of light here. But, hey, LOLLERS. Speaking of Desouza I saw a clipped version of his fight with Luiz Azeredo in MECA in 04. Holy fuck that looked awesome.
  10. Pretty much. But I figure he's been working on getting Hioki back in TKO for a while so I can only hope but not trust. Horodecki's on the card too which I'll also not believe until I see because as far as I know he's IFL-exclusive.
  11. Hioki/Hominick II is on for the February TKO show. Rudo and myself are issuing a challenge to Tong to make the journey up north even though we know he can't.......or won't.
  12. They got involved because 1) The DEA knew their cover was blown and had to use an outside source to uncover the leak and 2) Miami Dade wasn't a part of the task force so Crockett and Tubbs had perfect cover. They also had a personal reason as the Aryan Brotherhood was responsible for the death of Alonso's girlfriend and drove him to suicide. Pretty simple actually. Gets explained within the first five minutes of the film.
  13. Not even sure if I've seen ten shows this year but Bloc Party at Olympic Island in Toronto was fucking ace. All-around great show with J. Mascis, Broken Social Scene and Feist contributing.
  14. *BUMP* Fuck the haters. I repeat, fuck the haters. This came across just as good if not better upon DVD viewing. I think in order to like this movie you've gotta be a fan of the details. Sure this is a drug-trade based movie but it's not sexy like Blow or gritty like Requiem For A Dream. It's about the technical side of things, transpo and drop-offs, meet and greets and the like. I also really dug it being a film about the GLOBAL drug trade. Most of it does take place in Miami but it's really about two American guys who happen to get caught up in a worldwide situation. Miami, Havana, Haiti, Columbia, Geneva.....it goes all over and does it well. Superb casting. Farrell and Foxx don't need to have "We're super-duper best buddies" chemistry because the movie isn't about their personal relationship, it's about business and they play it like that. Jose Yero is one of the better villains to come along in a while because he's not the guy who think he is but he's very ambitious and wants to move beyond middleman status. Ciaran Hinds has a small but pivotal role with Fujima and I dug him in this too. Absolutely beautiful filming. The shots of Jesus's house in Columbia by the waterfall, the speedboats racing under the bridge to meet the deadline, the tense-as-fuck sequence at the end with the harbour shootout. I don't even hate the subplot between Farrell and Gong Li because it tied in well enough with Tubbs and Trudy and how one of them has to force himself to let go whereas the other can't even put the idea in his head.
  15. And of all of the blocks in Boston the aliens convieniently disregarded the one where the kids mom and her family lives. Awful nice of them space critters.
  16. I didn't hate Daredevil at all until the ending when he refuses to kill Kingpin. BULLSHIT. This dude fucked up your father and was responsible for Elektra's death and all you can say to him is "I'm not like you." Daredevil will kill any underlings or henchmen but when he actually has a shot at taking out the big boss he turns into a complete and utter pussy.
  17. Those pics are a few years old. Dem titties are probably sagged down to her knees by now.
  18. Jack crying at the end of season three made me cry. It was all "Don't start Jack.....please Jack, if you start then I'm gonna start.....JACKNOOOOOOOOOOO!"
  19. Ok, I might have to reconsider my remark. I hadn't thought of Carnivale. The finale of season one might be the best hour of tv I'll ever see in my life and the last ten minutes had me literally on the edge of my seat.
  20. I'll take the light coming on in the hatch with Locke pounding on it's doors as more of a "HOLY SHIT" moment then anything that happened in season one of 24.
  21. New statement: The first season of Lost is the best first season of any tv show, ever.
  22. Looks way too CG-ish for it's own good. I'll be lining up on opening day but I'm staying cautiously optimistic instead of assuming it's going to rule all.
  23. I don't really know why I said that. Makes no sense whatsoever. But this whole situation would've been resolved if they'd have just given Aurelio a rematch right off the bat instead of putting him up against Ishida who (besides the Aurelio win) hasn't done anything to warrant a title shot. If he'd finished Marcus it would be a different matter but he didn't and will most likely pound out a victory over Gomi.
  24. Bush and Blair's voices had the "We are fucked" tone in them during the PC. I came home and laughed for a few minutes so I guess I'll thank them for that.
