  1. You're better off for it. If you want to road trip down to Scarborough one time I can show you what it's about but you're whiter then I am so it'd probably be pretty rough on your inner cracker.
  2. Do you live in Welland? Because yes, that place is a dive of dives.
  3. Zim, eh? I'm 'bout it. How come nobody has PM'd me about my awesome flying knee signature? Unless somebody has a sig w/ the Sylvia k.o then this is easily the hottest shit in the forum at the moment.
  4. *taps nose*
  5. So I had a really awesome burger for dinner tonight. Like, serloin goodness. And potato skins instead of fries. NUTS.
  6. Man, fuck an Oshawa. That place is a fuckin dive. I'm talking Scarborough bad.
  7. Close this thread, shit like this can be discussed in the RAW thread.
  8. Mole, your avatar and member title are fucking hilarious. What Jew are we discussing here?
  9. Their mediocrity-fest at Royal Rumble says no to that one. Ditto for the match a few weeks before that one on RAW. I'd say his match with Taker at Mania was better then both of those. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yeah, Orton's WM match this year was better than any of his Intercontinental Title defenses, save the Foley match. It was very good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After last night it's pretty much a lock that Orton's best matches and his best in-ring chemistry is w/ Taker. Hell, their match when Orton was the Adidas-esque shorts wearing Smackdown boy was solid as hell.
  10. When they were giving away a Diva's DVD during the raffle the crowd was gettin' all Married with Children audience and I yelled out "It's called the fucking internet".
  11. I can understand why Rey is where he is right now in terms of position with the company. He's the type of guy where if you sat somebody down who didn't really watch wrestling and showed them a solid Rey match they'd become a fan. The tats, mask, flashy colours, entrance etc. are all for the most part done for the kids. It dates back to what the old Japan promotions would do with characters like Tiger Mask. Doesn't hurt that both guys are great wrestlers but I doubt that this Eddy feud did Rey any favours with his fans.
  12. Watching SummerSlam tonight at the local theatre something dawned on me. Kids. The WWE is dominated by kids. That theatre was fucking overrun with people in two age brackets. 12 and under and 34 and over. Kids and parents to the fucking walls. And it really, really hurt the product. Which got me thinking to where the WWE has come today. It was a really odd night at the PPV in terms of crowd reaction. During the dueling chants for Cena and Jericho it was made abundantly clear that the children and female aspect was heavily in Cena's corner whilst the male audience was backing Jericho. Cena got a ton of boos, something that has also been growing lately. Seeing as how they made Angle out to be a monster tonight and he's facing Cena at Unforgiven I believe we will be seeing the same thing. Orton vs Taker is another example. Lots of females in the audience behind Orton and he was extremely over with the kids and ladies in the theatre tonight. Kids eat up Rey Mysterio like he's some sort of delicious candy. Somebody made a great point in the SummerSlam thread about how Eddy has been de-pushed to the point where people have been solidly behind him in this feud, despite WWE's heavy attempts to make him the heel. The WWE seems to have forgotten one thing the fans have not: Eddy Guerrero can be a really fucking great wrestler and has a lasting legacy with the audience. They will cheer him on that alone. If they're doing Eddy vs Batista I'll be very interested to see how things shape up. I doubt WWE would consider this any kind of a problem and it probably isn't but it was noticeable enough to me to actually wonder how it could effect things. The audience is becoming more vocal in terms of not taking to pushed heels and faces the way the WWE would like them to. Financially this audience is the bread and butter but it gradually will (and has to an extent) push hardcore fans away. And man, did I want to smack the fucking chick who kept calling Cena sexy and screamed right in myself (but more into Rudo's) ear when he won.
  13. My "Snowman" comment is derived from Chuck's love of the columbian baby powder, not because of anything Tito said.
  14. You're not trying hard enough.
  15. A Bugs Life was better then Antz.
  16. Their mediocrity-fest at Royal Rumble says no to that one. Ditto for the match a few weeks before that one on RAW. I'd say his match with Taker at Mania was better then both of those.
  17. Cena needs to be strong for HHH's return. He's not jobbing. Batista will not be jobbing to a guy that tanked business as a champion. Hogan is facing Austin at WrestleMania. He sure as shit ain't jobbing.
  18. *Benoit is lead past Rudo and Curry by referees while clutching his neck after the finish of the match* Curry: Knees to the fucking back Benoit! Rudo: LOVED the headlock spots!
  19. Interesting storyline idea w/ Eugene and Christy, Coffey. I'd really dig them working an Ed Norton in Primal Fear-esque storyline with Eugene. Just one match after he's defeated somebody have him go nuts and give the guy four stunners and two rock bottoms and just lay him the fuck out. Have Christy be kinda scared at what's happened but when she asks him about it backstage he doesn't recall doing anything of the sort. Fast-forward to 3 months down the road, the angle is at it's peak. By this point Eugene has a fully developed alternate persona. They could work it that other wrestlers are scared to throw down with him in case he decides to revert back to his other identity. Bischoff says he can't do anything about it because there's no actual proof that Eugene has somebody else existing within his subconcious. The angle reaches it's climax with Eugene vs Cena for the title. Cena wins with the FU cleanly but afterwards Eugene snaps and begins to beat the everloving shit out of Cena, chairshots and the whole nine yards. Christy runs in and tries to stop him but Eugene turns around and takes her down and chokes her for a few seconds before Ace, Finlay, Skinner and Dean come down and pull him off of her. Later on that night you have Eugene in Bischoff's office. Bischoff tells Eugene that he's going to fire him if he doesn't fess up to what is going on. Eugene pleads innocent but gives himself away at the end when he says that he hopes that Christy will be fine. PRIMAL EUGENE, BITCHES.
  20. Benoit throwing knees to Randy's back while he had him in the headlock was the best part of the match and this is coming from a dude that was 30-something feet away from the match. It started off promising by Randy blew a few spots and the finish was telegraphed as hell.
  21. Bloc Party- Sept 13th Interpol- Sept 28th.
  22. The music was a super-important part of the show IMO so I doubt they'd fuck around with it.
  23. Hmmmmmmmm. I don't really care but predictions are fun and I went 4 for 5 at the UFC show last night. Hogan Cena Big Dave Benoit Eddy Edge Orton Angle
  24. So can Trigg even attempt at fighting again without being laughed off the show? Honestly. The first two times you tried to fuck with The Champ, got choked out twice (even after you kneed the guy in the junk). Now you attempt to run your mouth on a "B-level" French-Canadian who just a put a severe hurtin' on you on every level and destroyed any rep you previously had.
