S&M as far your Producer list none (except Dre) are actually beat makers maybe Irv and Puff (Maybe) and they're lazy producers/beatmakers as well. Puff samples old 70's and 80's without changing/rearranging anything, and Irv just samples Puff's beats for Ashanti and go to Suge for Pac samples for Ja Rule.

So you wasn't feeling "The Freaks come out at night" or "Friends"

2pac didn't really change the rap game as far as subject matter concern, but he had skill and he fed off of his emotions on some of his songs. 2pac is probably the most dedicated rapper ever, I heard he used write songs and poems everyday and record in the studio that day. Biggie, I think changed the game as far as bringing back materialistic style of rap. I think Master P has changed the rap game more than Big and Pac did, he STOLE the West Coast sound/formula and brought it to the south. P is the reason why a lot of Southern rappers were just getting deals left and right. Also, the way Master P pimped the Music Industry is amazing, He and Cash Money should do a instructional "How to run your own record label" video.

Damn, I realized that song came out when I was 13 and the Game said he was 2nd Grade. I feel old and my birthday is next month too. Time is flying by way too fast.
-
Well his psychoness is debatable. It could be an act/gimmick, but there's something about him that makes you think he could be nuts in reality. It's hard to tell in his case. There is something wrong with him, I mean he did shoot his OWN eye out.

I understand want your saying thou, thats the reason I don't play streetball that much any more. Its usually its guys who think they're good because they can do a dribble move or two, and then there's guys that are lazy as fuck, they don't nothing but stay behind the 3 point line or cherry pick. Then you got guys that cheat the either on the score giving their team extra points, and calling bad calls, which turns into a 5-10 minute arguement then you have stop the game. Then guys who get mad when your torching they ass then they want to fight you sometimes. This summer I decided not to play because of the bullshit when you go to the court.
-
For the misspelling probably because they don't want to get sued for copywrite purposes.

I kind of agree and disagree with you Ripper, I mean I play streetball (im good too) but I don't do real flashy moves maybe a crossover thats very effective but there's some cat sitting on the side talking about how my "Crossover" is too basic and slow, im like won't come out and guard me. Most of those And 1 guys wouldn't make it in the NBA because most of their moves are illegal, and most of them lack basic fundementals. Hell, Rafer Alston (Skip to my Lou) is consider the best streetballer and he has a hard time sticking with a NBA team. Some NBA players can't hang with streetball players, like Vince Carter who got torched by Future, or NBA players who have back to the basket post game (Except Shaq) wouldn't be all that good in streetball. Ripper, you can't act like all Streetballers can't make it in the NBA, because NBA legends like Dr. J, Tiny Archbaild (sp), and etc were streetballers too. Just read Slam's Streetballer editon. I do hate when I play with guys who think they can do AND 1 moves and do them in slow motion and fucking up. But I look at AND 1 tapes as just for entertainment purpose and some simple crossover moves. Streetball does have more excitement than what the NBA is given out right now, thats why AND 1 has gotten so popular.

Yea, Rakim is 34, in rap world thats considered old, Rakim still has the skills, he had best verse on "Watcher 2." The rap game is different as terms of taking a hitaus, you can't take 5 years off and then come back like everyone remembers you (well not in Rakim case, but definitely in Keith Murray's). But Dre did drop the ball on this one, he should focus on Rakim instead of 50 or Em they already have enough buzz anyway. Rakim is now a free agent, and I don't know if Aftermath is going to release Rakim's album or not now. And Dre should've never gave up his share of Aftermath to Interscope that was another reason why they had to drop Rakim and Truth Hurts.

Jlo back out of doing the duet I believe, because she's filming a movie.
-
Was he by himself? I mean if he didn't look like he was drunk and didn't look pissed off then you might be alright. And if he did start something, im sure you can take out a midget. Does he live in your area? If he does you should catch him in the day time.
-
Are you sure you saw Bushwick? he had the patch on? Yea I would've gone ask him autograph and then ask him how the fuck you shot your own eye out.

Im glad you mentioned Snoop and the GGW connection, him dressing like a pimp and having Ex pimp now turned Bishop Don "Magic" Juan Co-signing on Snoops wanna be pimping. Now, Snoop has backed out of the GGW venture because Snoop wants equality, justice, and civil rights, he basically said he wants Black Girls featured on GGW as well. Because drunk white girls showing they titties aren't enough for him I guess, so he wants some affirmative action I guess. Ripper, I think you have solve the mystery that Snoop was created by a Supremist aka The Man.

The Roots is the only rap/rock band that I would buy immediately. But, yea MTV doesn't have a clue about rap neither, Me personally I like to listen to all styles of rap, but I perfer more of a social conscious or a lyrically in depth style rap now. For what I would recommend for a new listener or a close minded hater would be: Just current stuff: Mos Def Talib Kweli Roots Soundbombings Vol 1-3 and 4 is coming soon Outkast Goodie Mob (1st album) 2pac Scarface Nas Eminem Neptunes/N.E.R.D DMX

Forgot there's also there's Panjabi Mc from India, he's the guy did the song "Beware of the Boys" with Jay-Z.
-
There's DJ Honda and he lives in Japan. and THe Streets is one person I believe. There's Ms Dynamite (UK) who's compared to Laryun Hill, and there's the So Solid Crew a big 30 something member group of rappers and singers.
-
^ Jin the MC
-
Not anymore, Hip Hop is worldwide now, its big in Japan, UK, Brazil, Africa, and Cuba. Its not just American thing or a hood thing anymore.
-
I'd rather listen to N'suck than listen to 50 year old try to re-live his glory days screaming through the microphone.GRRRRRRRRRRRR Not all rock is bad, but its like the guy who sings along while listening to his walkman and sings loud because he wants to hear himself, thats how I feel when I hear a rocker who sings too loud trying to hear himself over the instruments.
-
Snoop has a good strong white fanbase and they support all of his albums eventhough he hasn't had a hit album in 10 years.
-
^ I think theory is correct because white people love saying "Fo Shizzle my Nizzle"(must be a supremist inside joke) more than me or any other black person does. Back to the movie, Damon Wayans kind of remind me of Luke of the 2 live Crew and the whole Censorship issue back in the early 90's.
