    Harry Smith signs with WWE

Benoit, playing Stu Hart to these guys(Albright, Evans and Smith) would be great. People respect Benoit and buy him as a legit badass. Benoit would be excellent in the teacher/enforcer role.

    2006 NFL Off-Season

I'm hoping he secrectly told the organization that he is coming back but just wants to toy with the media over this. I mean, otherwise he is a complete jerk.

I hope they scrap it and just have Brent tell Benoit "look, my name really isn't Gunner Scott. It's Brent Albright. I just thought a different name would get attention" and Benoit cuts a "YOU NEED TO BE WHO YOU ARE! My Name is Chris Benoit, that's all I needed to get attention, my passion! my heart! my ability is what got me attention, you have that fire? that passion?!? I see some potential in you, but you have to be YOU!"

    Harry Smith signs with WWE

There's no excuse to not bring Jack Evans in as Hart Foundation 2.0 or Bulldogs 2.0. A Benoit led group of Albright, Smith and Evans would be awesome.

You know, Tazz was right. Rey is the WORLD champion, if he lost tonight...it would have been the shortest reign in that title's history.

Also, Dreamer, Sandman are more asscociated with ECW then Tazz (simply because Tazz transformed from ECW bad-ass machine to short guy in a suit announcing a match).

Golden Corral, while still a sub-par eatery, is only an extra few $ is probably a better choice for family dinner at a buffet setting. Chinese Buffets are great, but they always seem to better suited for lunchtime and for business purposes, rather then family dinner.

WP, should just be suspended from everywhere except the wrestling section. He is tolerable with his stance and out-takes on the wrestling aspects of this place but it's outside that department is where he is a mess.

Randy Orton suspended by WWE for 60 days

The locker room doesn't suspend people. I suspect that as early as next friday, the story and truth will break.

I think most people there were hating the same people you equally hated, HTQ's blog was more of a centralized location to express/expose those feelings.

I was on your big ignore list, I dislike EHME. What's your stance, on me?

Backlund, is in the same boat as Bruno. Backlund, I believe was offered in 2004 but he turned it down. I'm going ahead and calling that Terry Funk and Tommy Dreamer (or Sandman) are inducted next year. Funk (and maybe Dory Funk Jr as well) for obvious reasons and Dreamer/Sandman because they will probably want to induct a ECWer into the HOF since they did with AWA this year.

    THIEF

FX, has a reputation of quality dramas (The Shield, Rescue Me, Over There, Nip/Tuck) and it adds a new show to it's roster, THEIF. It debuts tommorow night at the usual Tuesday 10pm (et) timeslot that all it's dramas air on. There should be no doubt that FX has another quality show especially with a quality actor like Andre Braugher in the lead role. Hopefully, this show can gain a following similar to FX's dramatic trio of Shield, Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me. Over There, wasn't a outstanding success however.

Wrestlemania 23 at Ford Field Detroit

It's impossible to say no match will ever equal that heat, because we don't know the future. Austin/Hogan, most certainly has that ability. People say no match will ever reach the levels of Hogan/Andre again, and that is probably true. Sting/Hogan, Austin/Rock II, Austin/Taker, Flair/Hogan I, Hogan/Rock, Rock/Triple H, Warrior/Hogan were close (gee, see what names popped up alot?) but nothing touched Andre/Hogan and most likely won't. That's not to say there will never be another mainstream transcending event like that again, unlikely but it's possible and it's just as possible that something outdoes Rock/Hogan, on the heat level.

Austin, will go to his usual ways and will need to cover court costs. It'll happen.

    Livin' The Blues

The Path I Chose, I had to Follow If there is no road, there is no tommorow Hold On, Hold On for as you long as you can see It doesn't matter, nothing matters for it's only make-believe now... I can't even begin to explain how much I regret the decisions I made throughout my life and that's expected. You can't show me one person who did everything right from the start. I do, however feel like I am way behind where I should be. I'm 20 years old and I lost almost 1 and 1/2 years on my life by waiting until I went to college and once I got here, I haven't really gotten anywhere. I still feel stuck as the same 18 year old I was, the day I grabbed that diploma from Dr. Carter (my HS principal, who I hear is dying of cancer...which is a shame. He was one of the very few good ones). I see my friends, already changing things. Some for the best and some for the worse, but change nontheless. I can't change, beyond my haircut. Fuck, I even have the same fucking wardrobe as I did 2 years ago. Every time, I think I got the urge to get the fuck up...something always comes to me and brings it back down and I can't remember how things got to be this way. It used to seem that there was always something to make you happy and get you through the days...I had a really, really good month in January. It's always been a running theme in my life...I start the years off in a incredible fashion and it derails sometime around labor day into a complete mess. Then, somehow it fixes itself up and disappears and I get another brief glimpse at the concept of happiness... Oh, the girl from the other day? She's giving us another creature into this world. Lesson: Don't have drunk sex.

You have to hand it to the people @ CiCi's. It was a great concept that they excellently utilize on a national level. Cheapo crap pizza but kid friendly with limitless quanity. People, with kids will testify that the shittiness of CiCi's is justifable for feeding your kids cheaply and without much effort.
  20. I've been to almost every sporting event at multiple levels, from baseball (pro/minors/college), basketball (pro and college), football (pro, arena and college), hockey (pro and college), wrestling (pro/indy, college), NASCAR (Nextel and various smaller divisons), IRL. The only sports that elude me are the niche sports. I would agree that Hockey, as boring as it is presented on TV is a completely different beast live. Football, is a complete bore live. I never get how people don't like baseball, which is probably the most relaxing and thrilling sport to enjoy. NASCAR, is best served at the short tracks as opposed to the cookie-cutter tracks or the superspeedways. Basketball, is 100x better on the college level.

SR. was placed long time ago into the HOF. Who would accept the award for Bruno? I imagine, Bruno has instructed his family to never work with Vince when he dies.

College Hoops: National Semifinals and The Championship Game

Army women's basketball coach Maggie Dixon, who led the Black Knights to their NCAA Tournament debut last month, has died. She was 28. Jim O'Connell, a spokesman for the Westchester County medical examiner's office, confirmed that Dixon died Thursday at 3:10 p.m. EDT. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday. Dixon was hospitalized in critical condition Thursday after suffering an "arrhythmic episode to her heart" Wednesday at the U.S. Military Academy, said her older brother, Pittsburgh men's basketball coach Jamie Dixon. Heart Arrhythmia Any disturbance in the normal beating pattern of the heart is called an arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat. There are two main categories of arrhythmia: tachycardia, meaning too fast a heartbeat, and bradycardia, meaning too slow a heartbeat. (Both conditions refer only to exceptional elevations or depressions of heart rate, not to the normal variance that occurs throughout the day depending on whether you are resting or active.) More information on heart arrhythmia can be found on WebMD.com. Dixon said his sister collapsed and was taken to the intensive care unit of Westchester Medical Center. "She ... went to the house of a friend for afternoon tea where she said she wasn't feeling good and she collapsed," said Dixon, who read a prepared statement from the hospital. He said he had breakfast with his sister earlier Wednesday and that she had apparently been feeling well. Army gave Dixon her first head coaching job last October. Six months later, she led the team to its first bid in the women's field. The rookie coach's accomplishment gained extra attention because her brother led the Panthers to the men's tournament at the same time. The Dixons are believed to be the first brother and sister to coach in the NCAA Tournaments in the same year. Army lost to No. 6 Tennessee in the first round of the tournament, 102-54. The North Hollywood, Calif., native had hoped to play in the WNBA after graduating in 1999 from the University of San Diego. But the Los Angeles Sparks cut her after a tryout in May 2000. She went into coaching with encouragement from her brother. "He said, 'If you want to do this coaching thing, do something drastic,' " Dixon told The Associated Press last month. "That's what I did." She held a number of positions under DePaul coach Doug Bruno after walking into his office and introducing herself. She eventually became his top assistant in May 2004. Members of her team were with Dixon's family members at her bedside Thursday. ----- Wow, she was getting alot of press because of taking Army to the tournament and having her brother coaching the Men's in the tournament. That sucks.

    Wilbon blows chipmunks

Wilbon, is also getting slightly more bitter towards Tony these days. Tony, is the star of the group. He had a sitcom based on him (granted, it was a bomb), he's getting a spot on MNF and ratings have shown to drop when Tony is absent. Wilbon, is openly more bitchy and bitter these days. More so then usual. I hate when it's summer, nothing except baseball and maybe Nascar and NBA draft...they really stretch for content in the summer and the hosts always take long breaks in the summer, leaving us with combos like Dan Lebatard/Jackie McWhatever, Bob Ryan/Stephen A. Smith... ugh. I'd like to see them air retro PTI's. Set the show like in 1995 and cover that time period in the same fashion as it does now

    Eddy Guerrero passes away

It's going to be years, until the loss is really felt in the business. The steroid/drug testing, was only inevitable but Eddie's death pushed the issue to the forefront. It doesn't feel like he has died, and that is because WWE insists on exploiting it at no end. It's hard to accept something like that when the significance is severely pissed on by WWE, on a routine basis.
  25. So was Hurricane. The point is, overness means nothing to WWE.
