They got Green Bay and Arizona, which assures them a 6 win season and I could see Denver resting for the last game. That's 7-9 and I wouldn't dismiss a upset over Seattle right now. Still, SF is doing better for playoff hopes then Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Miami, Washington, Tampa (all teams who made it last year or heavily favored to this year). Just nuts.

SF could be playing for the playoffs, can you believe that?

This reminds me of the Cincy/Cleveland game from a couple seasons ago but only with more on the line and more hard hits and such. I think both teams could easily get into the 50's.

Hawk, I agree that it'd work if they start the dissension now and all, but it's still quite a lot to digest at Survivor Series, considering it's probably not a big enough a storyline that WWE would want to pursue. It's not like it's an epic thing. It's just Lita jobbing to Mickie(they can use the retirement match stip if they need to, it wouldn't change anything), which is probably going to happen anyways. Followed by Edge being a scumbag by being heartless about Lita's lost and having moved onto another girl already and for Matt to get what would be put over as a fluke pin thanks to the departing Lita and gives Matt the symbolic goodbye to Lita.

I like that Mickie is presented as an actual wrestler and she's good, so why ruin it by making her just another slut valet? There's plently of girls out there who can be plugged into Lita's role fairly easy.

Chad Johnson learning that by keeping his mouth shut, that the defense will forget he exists and he just showed why you CAN'T ignore him. Chad doesn't even do a dance or celebration of any kind. Bengals are smoking San Diego on both sides of the field.

Then explain how aside from the most recent show, how ROH worked CT without any problems and won't have any problems in December? If anything, ROH would be a bigger threat to those said promoters then TNA would be in that CT would be a more regular stop for ROH.

Considering that there's still time to build, it just requires Edge to bring up the issue with Matt again (and he has done so even without Matt's presence) and time to hint dissension from Lita and Edge.

That's how Jericho should have left because it was the perfect way to go with his character out but you can't have Lita leave without involving Edge and Matt because those two centered around her entire tenure in WWE. It's hardly complex to have that type of situation with Lita/Matt/Edge and it doesn't require anything more then Lita putting Mickie over, getting Edge over as a scumbag once again, give Matt the last laugh with Lita(and adding to a long storied rivalry with Edge) and Lita goes out having ruined everything for herself by her actions. Having Lita just go away by a Loser Leaves Town stipulation is pointless when you can do so much more without going overboard. Also, it lends the possibility of a Savage/Liz type moment if they really wanted to go that route (and I think it'd work if it weren't in Philly).

Was today's performence by me the WORST overall of this season? 3 wins? Ouch.

It's not really Lita getting redemption at anything, but rather making Edge look even more of a scumbag and in the process wraps up Lita/Matt but keeps the future of Matt and Edge alive. Lita ends up the ultimate loser as she loses the title, realizes Edge never really cared about her and that she lost something in Matt. Lita gets screwed like she did to Matt and it's Matt, whom always been the sympathic babyface who sends her Lita out the door in a symbolic way. You really can't have Lita just walk out the company without SOME closure with Matt considering that most of her tenure has involved him. We all know Lita is leaving and the only logical way for her to leave is for Edge to kick her out the curb which makes him a bigger asshole especially if they find someone to replace him.

Vince wants more KMA skits, and other "shocking" stuff. That's what he wants, not stiff wrestling. Vince hates that the wrestling brand is doing better then the SE brand.

I don't recall WWE ever doing this with WCW but I don't recall WCW ever having shows in Vince's backyard. I think it might be crazy to assume Vince would call in a favor for a house show but I wouldn't be surprised at the same time. What's with the building permits in CT, anyways? ROH had the same thing happen to them and they were forced to work in a tent in the pouring rain.

The whole idea around TBS/Hogan is based on duplicating Andre/Hogan and you can only do that in front of a packed dome in Detroit. It won't work in another environment. Show wants out of the business altogether and since he has options outside of wrestling, he isn't as likely to jump back into the ring.

That is the case according to some shoots but you can't just say that on the air. Well, I guess you could. Russo is writing afterall.

Lashley/Big Show as the new Andre/Hogan... it's gonna happen. Except not. TBS doesn't have a fraction of the invincibility, relevance, charisma and dominance that Andre had. Andre was a pure giant, while TBS has looked liked any other wrestler and has been easily beaten and taken off his feet on regular basis. Lashley is still tremendously green and has lost all faith from the office even if they are considering giving him the ECW title (even that they seem cold on). Lashley comes off as just another big guy and doesn't even compare in any sense to Hulk Hogan at any time but especially not the 1987 Hulk Hogan whom was the King of the World. Lashley is a green mid-carder who has been exposed and lacks the ability to give that money promo that would be crucial. The only worker in WWE right now who has that Hogan like mark is Batista and that's purely in terms of look, status in the company and charisma. Also, TBS is broken down and done with and unlike Andre, he isn't sticking around to further deteriorate. TBS can walk away from a WM match unless it's special and that is ONLY Hogan, whom is not just a close friend to him and influencial part of his career but is almost the holy grail for WM matches. As I said eariler and then further emphasized by HTQ, there's so many things at risk with TBS/Hogan that it's really not worth the effort. The only program besides the obvious money match with Austin(that isn't going to happen) worth the involvment of Hulk Hogan is Cena and even I don't think it's neccesary. I say keeping using Hogan for his annual match at Summer Slam since WM doesn't need Hogan to make a big dent in the buy rate. As for Lashley/TBS, It's like re-doing Gone With The Wind but with Ben Affleck and Beyonce.

Aside from DX, Cena gets the most favorable reactions. Unlike DX, Cena actually keeps and draws in the ratings. Cena is clearly the top face in the company and to say otherwise is ignoring the facts. People are afraid to admit this but Edge completely made Cena the big over face where Triple H, Bischoff, Jericho and Angle failed in their efforts.

No more believable than Kelly dating Mike Knox in ECW. Except Knox is a healthy physical big older guy that most young girls do like. Raven looks like absolute crap right now. I suppose they could always do a dark reasoning for their connection but it's a tremendous stretch to assume that Val would be with Raven unless they play up some sexual thing or mind control.

It's going be another non-finish/DQ anyways, if plans to hold off on putting the title on Batista until WM is still in effect. I was thinking a cage match since there's been alot of dealings with run-in's and Sharmell's involvment but I don't think they will bother with giving it a sexy stipulation.

It'd be better for everyone involved if they must use Hogan, to duplicate WMX8 instead with Cena playing Rock's role since Cena doesn't have much to do in-house unless they pull the trigger on a Batista/Cena match and that's not happening. Hogan/TBS will be too obvious in its intention to duplicate Andre/Hogan and you can't do that. Why bother messing with the legacy by doing a remake of that match.

Punk: The Final Chapter, no less. At least that show revolved around 4 current WWE workers.
