You don't work divorce filings. Britney's career isn't that far into the shitter to waste her time with WWE.
-
Probably the most obvious decision of the day. Strickland happens to be close friends with a distant uncle and I remember Strickland when I was 14 at a family reunion.
-
Batista/Undertaker is a fine enough match for brand ppv but it's not a WM match. You can't put the title on Taker and you can't job 'Taker out to someone at WM who doesn't need a rub.
-
On the contray, he'll probably slam Britney and since most people only cared about him because of Britney that'll give him more heat. People will really hate him because now that he's literally worth nothing, he's still clogging up the airwaves.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did the countout spot with Hunter and Orton and having Edge eat a pin from Shawn with Punk going over Nitro and Knox at the end. I don't know if you could end it with those three. I could see the crowd just crapping all over it like that Elimination Chamber that ended with Carlito, Cena, and Masters. The show is in Philly isn't it? You'll get the Punk marks.

She's an ROH mark, she loves that workrate.

Matt fits in because he's Jeff's brother and his past with Edge. Nitro and Jeff aren't main event acts but they get in because Nitro has a connection with Edge. Jeff is another face. Punk and Knox, at least have issues with each other. Helms sticks out the most because his program with Hardy isn't a main issue and seems to have died out. They would've be better served putting Regal or Finlay in that spot. I think you tend to believe that the WWE writers remember that far back and remember everyone's connection to one another. I think their planning was "hey all these guys are feuding, lets put them together" Edge, at least referenced his past with Matt when Jeff returned. So that part isn't far-fetched. It's more of a case of WWE wanting to do the reunion deal but it'll end up with Edge making the usual comments about it.

lol at the massive Orton and Edge with the mini pics of Helms, Nitro and Knox at the back. Can Nitro and Helms work together or will the love of sunglasses cause a riff?

Vince needs to NAIL this Cena/Federline thing out of the park because people do care about Federline. Vince is probably kicking himself that the timing didn't work right for it to be a WM program. This could've been the thing that gets WWE mainstream attention again but they aren't capitalizing enough on it by putting on big bang shows. Anyone that tunes in because of Federline will see WWE is still the same stupid stuff and stop caring.

Why not? Im not the biggest fan of red wines but Merlots arent that bad.. Someone hasn't seen Sideways. You should see it, i'm sure it looks good in HD.

I fully expect Punk to take Knox out, followed by The Hardyz having a heat segment leading to them teaming to eliminate Helms. This is followed by Jeff getting pinned by Nitro via Melina. HHH takes Nitro out because he's due for one. Edge will get another laugh at Matt's expense by going over him. HHH and Edge do a count-out spot to avoid jobbing leaving Orton to himself against Shawn and Punk. This is where I'm not sure it goes. Punk being unbeaten has been a big deal so far and I can't see them getting rid of that before the EC match at D2D but I don't see him going over Orton since I think they actually care about Orton's streak as the Survivor. I know Shawn is going to eat a pin from Orton here but it comes down to whose streak is more important.

I wish you people would stop acting as if Russo suddenly made TNA suck. It was horrible throughout the last year aside from a couple brief spurts that quickly got aborted. There's only one guy to blame for the incredible idiocy and lack of quality this promotion spits out. Is Russo a shitty booker? That's not debatable. Is Russo out-dated? Yes but so are alot of people in this business that get a pass from others here. Is Russo an immature dumb-ass that keeps doing the same act? Yes and the other company does it to. There's only one name at fault for everything that is wrong with this promotion and his name isn't Vince Russo.

It wasn't about physical ability but rather her willingness to get pass the psychological block of the accident which clearly driven a wedge between the two. You can't just do that if one person is still dealing with a truma like being paralyzed while the other feels as if he's to blame for it. The episode was fairly average in that it wasn't "exciting" but it's doing a good enough job of setting up the eventful collision these people will have. I really like the subtle references they keep making regarding other characters. Such as when Micah asked Hiro's friend if he had visited her mother before. I like how each episode a certain character disappears so they can focus on another one with more focus. There was less Niki then usual as it appears that character is done and the alter ego is sticking around. I like that they keep introducing new characters with powers and it doesn't comeoff as "Oh, another one to keep track of". They all fit together for a reason and once we get to the point we figure out who is good/evil, it'll really get the show moving.

I don't know which is worse, appearing on WWE TV or losing your golden ticket of a wife.

At least with WWE, you know that Vince is senile with the kids not caring because they know the company can stay alive on name value for another 10 years at least bearing any major disaster. What's TNA's excuse for being inept? It's not Russo. Russo has only been involved for 1/4 of the TNA run. Dixie is a smart businesswoman, that's not a question but she's not a wrestling promoter. The one and only guy that can get all the credit/blame for this is a guy whom is worse then Kevin Nash is. Nash is just a smart guy who knows what he is doing but doesn't care what happens to others. I think even the most vicious Nash haters (HTQ) will admit that Kevin Nash is a brilliant guy in terms of knowing the business even if he doesn't neccesarily do it. Jeff Jarrett is just an all around idiot who really thinks he's doing it right. It's the same old song but Jeff Jarrett still runs the operation and he's crashing into every wall in the way and once they get something going, he throws it all in reverse.

With DX/Hardyz/Edge all involved, I can't imagine how much "shooting" will be included in the buildup. Punk could even get a little action in there since he seems to like shooting while representing the company as well.
-
It makes half sense with DX/Hardyz Vs Edge/Orton/Nitro...since DX have issues with Orton and Edge and Jeff's another babyface and Nitro's his main adversary and even using Matt makes sense in that Jeff would naturally get his brother to team up. I know Helms has beef with Matt but it's really wrong for him to just appear in this match with main eventers. Then you throw in Punk and Knox which isn't connected to the other 8 guys in any shape or form. It'd be a good match with the talent involved (even Knox, who takes a great bump) but it's pretty awkward booking. It'd be fairly easy to book Survivor Series this year for WWE but they seem to insist on going with awkward booking instead. Edit: The more I look at this match, the more I like it. While it makes no sense from a booking perspective for the most part, it just has alot of possibilities to it.

So, yeah, the show is dead. Not just in terms of its tenure but the quality that still lingered for the show. Great cast and good actors aren't going to save idiotic premise, direction and the pro-liberal agenda on this show suffocates whatever good this show had. Last night's show just flat-lined. I usually like Goodman but shit, even he phoned this one in. That's what the whole show has been.

I meant being told to wear a t-shirt like Piper was. -

Unless you're a backyarder, wearing a t-shirt is proably ultimate embarasment. -

He needs to be in the ring in a few years if he's not in the NFL. I called that one a year or two ago when I read he was at Ohio State. He HATES wrestling. He sure looked like he hated it sporting that shitty DX shirt and spinner belt.... You should know they give those to all comped guests in the front row, regardless. -
