Man, fuck Baylor. Actually, fuck me for bolding the right side of the screen. I had faint hopes of a conference title but that expired.

It was never in stone but TBS is one of the very few people Hogan is pushing to work since Austin most likely isn't going to play games. Quite frankly, it'd be a big mistake to do TBS/Hogan at WM23. It'd be an obvious attempt to duplicate WM3. They would be better served if they must use Hogan, to duplicate WM18 with Cena playing Rock.

I believe today was the 3rd straight week that I hit the score tiebreaker on the money. However, this week all starts and ends with the Texas AM/Baylor game because I meant to pick AM but for whatever I bolded Baylor instead. Had I done what I intended, I would have already clinched victory via tiebreaker but Im left to hope Baylor has something and right now it's close enough to make me sweat.

The DVD is called "Heroes Of World Class" and can be found at most wrestling DVD distribution sites. I believe the dvd was spread into pieces over Youtube not so long ago.

Great, another 2 months of futile and repetitive commentary on the "evils" of the flawed BCS system and "glorious" concept of a playoff system with some 1 loss team playing the Big Ten winner and some other team(s) spending the entire month leading to the bowl games bitching about being screwed. I say this in regards to most of the media likely not being happy about the idea of Louisville or WVU in the main game instead of a regular powerhouse program like Florida, USC or ND.

TBS would have a decent chance of getting work in the entertainment world, so I wouldn't blame him for leaving. He really can't go anywhere beyond what he is doing right now.

The problem with the WCCW dvd is that there already is a INCREDIBLE Documentry on it that WWE won't come close to matching because they'll sugarcoat and glam it up and include random commentary from people not even involved.

Ring Of Honor: 10/27(Dayton) and 10/28(Chicago)

Albright was an instant star with ROH after a tremendous debut against Daniels tonight. He got a very vocal "Please come back" chant. You could easily see Albright felt completely at ease and unchained inside the ROH environment and fed off it. The show as a whole was very good, with Sydal/Delirious being the highlight match of the night. The show lacked a big punch but it delivered with a non-stop flow of good to great matches without slipping. Crowd was smaller then usual but that has to be looked at as a case of horrible weather playing a part in addition to the lack of a major main event attraction. Here were the results Pre-Show main event Matt Cross D. Pelle Main Show 1. Bryan Danielson D. Sal Rinuaro -Good showcase for Danielson's heel nature and was a solid but short opener. Some might protest the champion opening the match but it seems the intent was Danielson using his pull to get even more rest and prep for tomorrow night against Joe, knowing Joe would be in the main event in a physical match. 2. SHINGO D. Jimmy Rave -Fairly average match but SHINGO was impressive enough and Rave continues his descent. 3. Irish Airborne D. Cabana and Jacobs -Colt does an brilliant parody of Jim Duggan, I just wanted to to get that out of the way first. Colt and Jimmy are really starting to mesh well as a team and each team were big faces as IA played the hometown kids with success and scored a "upset". Jimmy was torn apart by Lacey after the match but Colt stood up for him. 4. Chris Daniels D. Brent Albright -Albright was an instant star before the match had even began. It kept building throughout the match as he came off as the better of the two more often then not. He displayed a great knowlege of mat based skills but most importantly, didn't work as a Chris Benoit clone which will tremendously help him in the long run. Albright is poised for a great run in ROH. 5. Roderick Strong D. Chris Hero, Tank Toland and Mark Briscoe -Probably the "worst" match of the night but it wasn't bad by any means. Hero was his usual heel machine and Toland was impressive enough but he'll be easily overshadowed by the Albright hype. 6. Aries D. Castagnoli -Your basic Aries match and that's a good thing. These two work well together and Aries was rather dominant over Claudio here which goes a long way for their tag program against each other 7. Davey Richards D. Jay Briscoe -Richards continues to impress each and every time I see him. Richards really learned from KENTA and it shows here. 8. Delirious D. Matt Sydal -MOTN. These two know each other like a married couple which makes sense considering how often these two work each other. Sydal shocked me in being a very good heel against the mega over Delirious. A great blend of comedy to start the match into a fast paced near-fall contest at the end. 9. Homicide and Joe D. Corino and Pearce -As far as brawls go, it was rather tame to be honest. It included the required bumps and spots but lacked the energy that usually comes with these brawls. Finish saw Joe pining Pearce for the win (after Homicide put Corino through a table). Joe, then chases Hagadorn out of the building which led to a 5 on 1 attack from Corino, Pearce, Briscoes and Cornette which concluded with Homicide's head being wrapped in a plastic bag as the others fought off all assistance. Good show with a fantastic match in Sydal/Delirious and a big debut from Albright. -
Another big weekend for ROH in the mid-west with Dayton and Chicago hosting. Here's tonight's card (Which I'll attend, and give personal report on later) Tag Team War Homicide & Samoa Joe vs. Steve Corino & Adam Pearce Delirious vs. Matt Sydal Claudio Castagnoli vs. Austin Aries Davey Richards vs. Jay Briscoe Christopher Daniels vs. Brent Albright Jimmy Rave vs. Shingo Four Corner Survival Chris Hero vs. Roderick Strong vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Tank Tolland Non-Title Match Bryan Danielson vs. Sal Rinauro Colt Cabana & Jimmy Jacobs vs. Irish Airborne Pre-show Main Event Pele Primeau vs. "M-Dogg" Matt Cross Saturday night No DQ, Must Be A Winner, Non-Title Match Bryan Danielson vs. Samoa Joe Austin Aries vs. Christopher Daniels Steve Corino vs. Delirious Davey Richards vs. Mark Briscoe Matt Sydal vs. Jay Briscoe Colt Cabana & Jimmy Jacobs vs. Jimmy Rave & Sal Rinauro Roderick Strong vs. Shingo Irish Airborne vs. Adam Pearce & Shane Hagadorn

I guess the countless matches where he has wrestled in 20 minute periods with great success must have passed you. He is a tremendous tag team worker with Claudio, and is pretty much the best regular tag team in the field today and that's why, I would imagine WWE has an interest in Hero after years of being a "name" on the independent scene but they like Claudio suddenly and they know Hero almost has to be a part of the package. I think they see Hero as a talker with Claudio being the worker of that group.

Maybe this is just me, but move FNL to the vacant spot on Wednesday where it could fare slightly better then it does on Tuesdays.

In theory, the idea of using all three brands together right now for the fall season isn't bad, if the idea was to save hot and fresh programs for the "Road To WM" but that's not the case. This is merely WWE feeling that cross-promotional stuff is easier to push and they believe the fans care more. At first, when the split started, they made an effort to make each show appear to be different in structure and apart from each and now they have no problems shattering the illusion of seperated promotions. Essentially, RAW/ECW/SD are stables for the WWE product, with revolving members moving in and out.
-
Claudio would be a good fit for WWE as he has a good look, size and is a solid promo. Hero, would have to be broken down and rebuilt like Punk. I assume the garbage bag pajamas wouldn't stick around either.

Both Lashley and Brown are fairly poor workers, each are about equal in terms of charisma and marketing appeal for WWE. Brown and Lashley have similar backgrounds but WWE loves any former NFL players. I think he works better for ECW and I agree he would be an excellent "enforcer" type for Paul Heyman, and with Heyman's influence, Brown really has the opportunity to look good. I don't recall much of Brown's brawls in TNA but I'd imagine that the ECW formula of brawling may suit Brown.

Looking into the season, this is how I see NBC taking the rest of the season Week 11: St. Louis @ Carolina or Cincinnati @ New Orleans (A lot of good options this week) Week 12: Chicago @ New England (Indy/Philly is possible if they don't want to overload on Chicago games) Week 13: Seattle @ Denver (pretty crummy week) Week 14: Indy @ Jacksonville or New Orleans/Dallas Week 15: Kansas City @ San Diego (Another poor list of choices) Week 16: Carolina @ Atlanta or NO/NYG (Strong week) Week 17: Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati

Brent Albright will be back in WWE in 8 months anyways, so it's not that big of a deal but it gives just another example of how dumb they are. Why would Melenko (whom, I guess has become a total ass kisser for McMahon) have issues with a Benoit inspired worker? Jamie Knoble works very similar to Benoit but he gets away with it. The guy had a gimmick for being Benoit's protege, so wouldn't he naturally duplicate Benoit's style as Benoit stole Dynamite's entire routine 12 years ago? WWE will come calling again after Albright tears it up with Danielson, Joe, and McGuinness.

I thought Ariel already had this demographic cornered?

Probably a regional thing since I don't ever recall McDonald's serving biscuits and gravey down here in Texas. Chilli Cheese Burritos dissapeared from the Taco Bell menu awhile back, but I kept ordering them and recieving them until just the last two times I've been there. CC Burritos have never left the Taco Bell Menu.

Remember when Toby Keith just wanted to put a boot in their ass? Ford doesn't fuck around with feelings.

I can only imagine what two complex coked out intellectual and self serving egomaniacs can conjure up. Throw in some Russo "brilliance" and we might have something beyond anyone's imagination.

American Idol "talent". I can get some of AI singers who could pull that song off but that girl wasn't one of them.
-
They should have Kevin Nash do special bonus uncensored commentary for all the DVD releases.
-
Does FOX have something against the National Anthem? I could live with Seger doing America The Beautiful, but must they attempt for the NASCAR demographic on consecutive nights? (makes sense, considering this was a blatant promotion for Chevy anyways)

I like how Pujols appeared excited to listen to Mellencamp.
