ROH, can't afford Angle. I think TNA has too many in-house stars to throw at Angle before Danielson, unless they finally sign him.
I think Meltzer's fandom for MMA blinded him and he missed the signs.
Something HAD to happen with Vince and Kurt for Kurt to turn around and burn that bridge.
The aftermath and how it all was set up will probably be greater then anything they'll do with him in the company.
This is amazing. I trust DH that this is authentic. I guess Kurt was working everyone with the MMA talks and decided to reject the no compete clause?
The aftermath is going to be amazing to watch.
When he signed, he had really banged his shoulder up against Corino and wasn't at full strength. TNA, didn't want to push him until he was able to go all out.
I should mention that Dibiase's boys have been training with Harley Race and Ace Steel and are apparently pretty good.
I'm surprised that Dibiase would encourage his sons to wrestle, considering the nature of the business. By 2009, we're going to have alot of 2nd and 3rd generation wrestlers running around.
This leads to me to think the surprise will be directly connected to Jarrett, in some way.
Ya know, with all the talks...I'm stunned no one mentioned Austin. He's as stupid a guess as Angle, Brock, Jericho and Benoit.
Despite the occasional rain, it's still rather warm here. So chicks are still wearing that type of stuff. She was showing the same as anygirl wearing a regular top or blouse would show. Besides, she only had that one class and there's only 4 guys in the class including me.
The reason Hoffman isn't getting attention is just because it occured on Football day with many important games being played (especially the aforementioned Bengals/Steelers game) but because Hoffman isn't a star like Rivera as far as closer goes.
It's still just a closer getting another save. Saves aren't HR's or hits, people just don't see a reason to care about it.
I was thinking, what are the odds that this surprise isn't actually a wrestler? Im not talking bout a Eric Bischoff but someone along those lines.
Only Heyman would fit that hype and it isn't happening.
I'd like to imagine that with good booking, it just leads to Eric screwing Jarrett for a huge pop and lead to some program with them and Eric getting the best of Jarrett with some wacky circumstances, but the reality is that he'll turn full heel again and be Jarrett's lacky still.
Kurt Angle is the least likely of every name mentioned other then Rock and Benoit.
Jericho, of all the names is the only one who isn't tied up in contract. He is the ONLY name plausible to justify the hype. It won't be him.
This will be a disapointment but kudos to TNA for building this much interest in a throwaway PPV.
They wouldn't go through all this effort for a bust. It really needs to be Jericho but it won't be.
Of all the wrestlers thrown around, he is the only one not tied into a contract and doesn't have heat with the company.
It won't be Jericho...I'll admit...TNA is really doing a good job of making this seem major.
I know it's cool to mock Eli and everything but you really have to admit that the asshole is great at these type of drives.
I still believe he'll win a SB before Peyton even gets to the SB.
The announcement better be that they signed Bryan Danielson and that Joe/Danielson is signed for BFG.
Other then that, nothing else would live up to the hype for me.
