Not true. They get Miami in a couple weeks.

WWE to counter in head-to-head with Ortiz vs. Shamrock III...

He already did that. It didn't really work. So, his idea is that T&A always works. -
A new stage isn't impossible, as they really just need a rotating platform for the Supershows. The Titan-tron needs an upgrade anyways.

Right now, it seems as it half the area is split. You will only see it at $2.24 or $2.09.

I wonder if Comedy Central would pick it up or even FX.

JBL, is pretty important. He adds alot of credibility to the show as an commentator and puts over people very good. He did this as a main event act as well. If it means they have to record the commentary in the studios (easier travel for JBL) instead of ring-side, so be it.

The same Benoit who just signed a virtual limetime contract witb WWE and is already scheduled for the upcoming international tours?
-
It might be due to the fact I haven't seen SD in awhile, but I throughly enjoyed this show far greater then I expected.

It's a good hoodie but they fuck it up as they usually do by slapping the WWE logo right above the KK.

Remember 18 months ago, when WWE couldn't decide who was the right guy to push between Cena and Batista and actually had to physically get a live gauge from the crowd to confirm that Batista was the "MAN"...now Cena is used to make Batista look like a bigger star. Batista, has fallen since the HHH program. He really needs a good rival to maintain interest from the fans.

Sylvan Vs Hogan. Book it, Vince. Montreal would explode with that match.

How would someone wear both at the same time? I think he meant socks and sandels. I would hope so, because wearing one sandal and one shoe is really goofy. Im sure that's the new trend that'll sweep the nation.

It's too bad that F.B.I and Doane/Jeter are stuck in nothingness because they could make this division perfect. I really think they should just ship Doane/Jeter and repackage them to Smackdown and unify the two tag belts and make Smackdown the home of TAG TEAM WRESTLING. Let Raw claim to be the home of the woman's division by sending Jillian over there.

Who said Jim Ross?

The JBL/Heenan comparisons are wrong, the real comparison is JBL to Ventura. Retired main event heel with credibility still intact who provides great commentary alongside logical based deductions and will put over certain people but directly towards their "face/heel" status. He still maintains his kayfabe hatred for other wrestlers based on his former career as a wrestler and will sprinkle a few inside shots as well.

I wonder how they will rig a poker game. Well, probably not much different from regularly rigged poker games. Is this going to be the entire show or just the advertised special attraction? -
I have a date tomorrow night and Im pretty excited about it. Weeks of flirting and "getting to know" her, finally led somewhere. I also agree on the birthday sentiment, but I extend back to age 16 as far as its value. While my 20th birthday ranks as one of the greatest days of my life, it wasn't due to my birthday, it merely happened on my birthday. Aside from that, it's just massive amount of calls, txt messages and IM's from people and maybe a few checks and cards from assorted family members. I miss the days of Chuck E. Cheese and the ice rink. Fuck having a birthday in the winter, it severely limits your options.

It's been almost 3 months since they had Smackdown here (and they buried this network between the on-demand channels and porn stations) I missed JBL, alot.

I meant to DVR Six Degrees, but forgot to do it. How was that show?

I was liking Justice but I never expected it to stick around because the cast is so unlikable and no one is a strong enough character to warrant sticking around It's also way over the top with the gimmicky nature of the show. As for the new FOX dramas, I really Standoff is the best .
-
James Woods, really deserves better though. I'm convinced they hired an inferior cast strictly to make Woods that much better and awesome. The only character aside from Woods that I liked was the daughter.

With the earlier talks regarding Brock Lesnar doing a fight with Angle, being a big draw in Japan and UFC. How much interest does Dana have in Lesnar without Angle? I have to imagine that while Lesnar doesn’t have nearly the clout that Angle does (being a longer tenured worker, especially during the peak of WWE’s popularity and of course, the gold medal) but Lesnar still boasts a credible enough sell with his WWE background and his NCAA accomplishments. The real selling point is his size and look. Angle, would be promoted as a “real” fighter returning to his game after years of being a pretend fighter. Angle, has significantly higher name value then Brock Lesnar would ever dream of and more so then a vast majority of the regular UFC fighters. How much clout could Brock obtain without the assistance of the Angle draw in the pocket?

Since Kimo was a former player here and generally liked, that probably saved his ass from being rained on with death threats. Generally, most people know it wasn't intentional. It's more frustration then anything else but it became a good marketing ploy for the rival to push the "dirty" style of the Steelers. Which goes with their idiotic "Terrible Towel" gimmick. There are some big idiots out there really believe Cower told Kimo to take out Palmer, despite every angle showing that could have only been accidential. You can't really practice rolling over onto someone's ankle in that position. Every franchise has a share of idiots who can't accept they got beat and will find some route to blame it on someone(thing) else.

Didn't he have his own "christian" fed? Ring of Glory? Yes, and it lasted one show which few people liked. The name of his (thankfully) short lived promotion, shows just how creative he is these days. There are the usual suspects around here that still buy into Russo's spin and honestly believed that he was the driving force during the attitude era. Someone made reference to Russo making more money in a year then Cornette did. Russo, didn't make that money. Besides, in that regard Chris Kreski made more money then Russo did in 7 months then Russo ever has. Russo is a horrible character and personality in that he drives people away. He's an obsessed mark for himself. His creative ability is severely limited to anything other complete trash and he has no ability to book long-term. There were probably 15-20 guys at least around the wrestling business that would serve better then Russo. I don't even count Cornette in that because I don't think his vision as a booker can adapt to the modern age. Raven, has proven over the years to be a brilliant booker and mind. He was principle reason for ECW and ROH to have their first big storyline driven angles and they both succeeded in making money and putting other people over. He was so good at what he does, that Vince wanted him to write. Raven, is in the twilight of his career and since they fucked the Jarrett storyline up beyond repair, it was only appros for him to do a retirement program with a new star like Shelley and give him a big rub and let Raven use his creative juices. That's just one option with greater potential that TNA has and it was in-house. Russo, is tight with Borash and Borash is Jarrett's manservant. Dixie, blindly buys everything Jarrett says and pays attention to skewed facts like Russo's involvment in the WWF attitude era and goes along with the move. TNA could have been a true alternative but when you present a product designed half around aborted WCW storylines and characters and ROH storylines/characters that were done much more effectively already that those two target demos don't feel the need for a washed down version of it.
