Taking a quick look around the league. Up to half the teams in the league have a pretty good trio. From Boston's big three, to LA's big three and more, there's gonna be quite an interesting look around the league once the damn season get's started. Although, for my money, I'm still gonna go with Boston having the best big three of the bunch.

Here's a simple choice. Would you rather have Velocity back or ECW as is? Personally I'd take Velocity because of the matches that show produced. Matthews on commentary was a plus too.

And I hate to be the one saying it, but this is still Tracy McGrady's team, and what I mean by that is, the man STILL can't get out of the first round. If he doesn't get out of the first round with Artest, Yao, Scola, Alston, etc................ can we officially call him the Lex Luger of the NBA?

I hope that the player to be named later is Steve Francis. Then he gets waived and signs with the Clippers. Reunites with his BFF and his career is officially over. Francis has pretty much been one sad dude since him and Mobley broke up in 2005.

And I thought this was a newly created thread not something pulled out of the CTDWAT. I must say, I almost fell for the or....... part meaning either it's taped with Raw or CANCELLED.

They've maxed out his use as a heel for the time being, but SD! is already stacked with babyfaces right now (HHH, Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Kennedy). Is Big Show a heel? No. But wasn't he originally suppose to be? Until Mayweather turned heel that is. Now that I think about it Kennedy should just go back to being a heel. I see no usefulness right now for him to be a face.

Anyone know what's up with Hanley Ramirez? Is he hurt or something? Been really struggling post all-star break.

So everyone talks about this match, especially when Hogan and Austin were on the same roster in 2002. Some even said it should've been Austin vs. Hogan at Wrestlemania 18 instead of The Rock. With that said, there is a little too much history between the two. There were talks over the years about doing this match, but nothing came to be. Apparently, it was suppose to happen when Austin kick started something with his line of finding a can of whoop ass with Hogan's name on in at the 2006 Hall of Fame ceremony. So here are a few questions to discuss. 1. Who should win? You book this match, and you know that both men DO NOT want to job to the other. A double DQ would likely piss off the crowd. There will be no rematches, this is based on Hogan punking Michaels. So one match only, there must be a CLEAN finish. This is pitting one generation of fans vs. another. The 80's vs. the WWF Attitude era. Some say Hogan should win, he was the man that built the WWF from the ground up and put wrestling where it is today. On the other side, Austin, the man who SAVED the WWF from going under. Some claim Austin made more money than Hogan ever did. Others claim that is fiction not fact. With that said, who do you book to go over and HOW do you do it. A simple stunner or leg drop cannot be bought, because these guys kicked out of more dramatic finishers and were booked like supermen. One finisher probably wouldn't be enough. 2. Is this match still a money match? Someome asked Keith on his blog a while ago and he said it is. More so then Austin/Goldberg. With that being said, can this match draw in your eyes? Remember, this isn't 2000 or even the late 90's when Wrestling was on fire. If there is no money, this match will not happen. In fact, there probably has to be A LOT guarenteed to both men for them to even consider the match. 3. Is this a Main Event? Wrestlemania will probably be where this match would, if ever, take place, do you platoon two guys who haven't done nothing in years over the whole damn roster. There will probably be broken egos and pissed off attitudes by some of the guys. Wrestlemania 25 is coming, if there was ever the time to do this match, it's now. 4. Does this intrigue you AT ALL? This isn't either men in their prime or even during the 90's. In today's WWE, do you think the booking would even come through? There is a storyline right there with all the personal stuff, but I don't know how far both guys would go. 5. Would you order the pay per view, JUST for this match? The rest of the card is crap. Would you still order a pay per view, beause this match is on the card. 6. Will they both get desperate enough? We've seen enough Austin/Hogan returns. You think they'll both be desperate enough to do a match and get a big payday? We know Hogan might, with all his legal problems, but Austin is a tougher call.

I gotta admit, looking at this thread, I'm glad the WWE did do SOMETHING to shake it up. It's a lot fresher now than it was a few days ago.

I just read this on yahoo: Beasley Article Is this kid really a knucklehead? There are the reports of being a little immature. The Heat don't seem to high on him either. IIs this all exaggeration or is he really not the brightest kid out there. Is comparing him to Carmelo a fair assessment, and that dude has played 5 season and STILL does stupid things.

You can really tell this is a Joey Styles thing. I guess he's taking what he learned from 1wrestling and using it here.

So with Smackdown being stacked, is there ANY CHANCE that it goes back to Thursday next season? Maybe by stacking the rosters, it shows the WWE cares about the show? Then they can go head to head with TNA Impact. Thursday Night Wars?

I personally like the fact that Fletcher is cleaning house. Get rid of that old mentality from the previous regime and rebuild now. Hopefully within a few years they'll have a different attitude on that team and in that locker room. No more babies and their stupid no trade clauses.

Mentioned also in the off season thread but I want to mention it here too: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Am9M...o&type=lgns O'Neal for TJ/Rasho/17 Is pretty damn close.
-
And it looks like we are near our first trade of the off-season: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Am9M...o&type=lgns So Colangelo turns Charlie V and Matt Bonner into Jermaine O'Neal in 3 seasons. I hope he still has something left in the tank. Wasn't this the same guy the Lakers wanted BAD last year and some thought he value was as high as Bynum? Either the mighty have fallen or the Raptors STOLE him here. Remains to be seen.....

Layla to Raw. I guess that leaves Kelly Kelly as the main ECW star.
-
One word: PEDIGREE. For a spilt second, I actually thought Carlito would be Triple H free.
-
Wow, Smackdown is actually looking pretty good. Maybe HASS can go back to Smackdown too. Reunite the World Greatest Tag Team on their home stage of Smackdown.
-
With this draft, I really feel ECW should bring back the TV title or something. All those guys on the roster are not all fighting for the ECW title so give them something else to fight for. Shelton or Kofi as TV champion would work.
-
Also, with that being said, I am disappointed they did not mention Jericho's lack of title defense or make a match. I was looking forward to a HBK-Y2J Intercontinetal Title match.
-
No Jeff Hardy. Also, I don't know why, but if they build him up enough, Kozlov vs. HHH at a throwaway pay per view down the road? I kid, I kid.
-
I can't wait to see the Smackdown spoilers now. That'll be an interesting read.
-
I can see now a Cena-Batista feud for Mania 25. Batista will win the title and keep it all the way till then, and Cena will dethrone him. Meanwhile on Smackdown, HHH will pedigree Edge to hell. I guess it's HHH vs. La Familia. This also means, CM Punk, Rey, etc....... all have a chance now. Hell, even JERICHO does now. Someone needs to turn heel on Raw though, too many faces, and Jericho and Orton as the only heels.

WHOA. That one was unexpected.
