Russo has always stated that he doesn't book a character on being a heel or a face, he books a character to do what they would do in that situation. Sting may be a face, but his character believes that these young kids should respect the older wrestlers who have paved the way. Joe is a face, but his character is pissed off at all of the old guys getting the spotlight over him. Now both of those are traits of a heel, but both guys are still (at least in Joe's case - I've not really watched TNA in months, I'm just going from spoilers) faces.

Because it's playing to Mick's strengths, his promos and his charisma. I agree that it will never top his 2000 run, but who said they would replicate it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Abyss storylines Dutch's work?

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let us not forget his unforgettable angle with Stevie Richards in a dress.

Who's the dude on the far right?

IIRC, hasn't Konnan got nothing to go on in his case?

Can someone give me a breakdown of what this is all about, I tried to read the thread but it was pretty f'n boring and I gave up. -
Taker can't go heel, it would be like trying to turn HBK, Sting or Flair towards the end of his career heel. They fans love them to much to boo them.

Super Mario RPG, avalible to play on my PAL Wii. I knew this day would come.

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I thought Death Proof was better than Planet Terror. Not that Planet Terror wasn't awesome, but I just enjoyed Death Proof more. I'm with you, I really liked Planet Terror, but I prefered Death Proof.

Sounds like a PS3 sales pitch.

Christ that is a terrible post. I for one will be glad to see Foley in TNA. I've always been a mark for him and if he did work some programs with Joe and Styles that would be great. Limit him to a couple of matches per year and he should be fine. I'd like to see him in a GM role, maybe an angle with him taking power away from Cornette, who has been stale in TNA for the past couple of years.

You don't listen to/read Meltzer all that closely do you? No, I was actually just being rather facetious and smarky.

Really though, who did Roxxi piss off backstage to job so many times in recent months? I don't know, but you'd kind of like to have a small hope that it's all building to something.

I haven't updated this in a while, but I had to post this one due to the first couple of minutes which conveys exactly how I feel about the games industry (and the movie industry for that matter). Braid

Angel Dust should've been in the top 3, with King For a Day Fool For a Lifetime and maybe The Real Thing somewhere in the list. The Real Thing came out in '89. Whoever caused that prompt to pop up on this page please take care of it. Did it? Hm, I thought it came out in '90. Live at Brixton, the live album accompanying, The Real Thing came out in '90.

After looking at the lists, I must say: Well played sirs. Some of you have some really good lists.
-
If it makes you feel any better, I thought it was funny.

I'd imagine the JJ segment will close the 11th show. And I'm sure Jingus will be more than happy to see Roxxi pick up another loss.
-
Meltzer hates every segment.

You're never going to let that go are you? Lest we forget she wanted to cut her hair anyway.

If Hall and Nash hadn't jumped, Bischoff would have pushed to "steal" someone else from WWF, and would probably use them as The Outsiders.

Some of that sucks, but the lack of Ankle Lock and Scorpion Deathlock makes no sense at all.

According to Official Nintendo Magazine (which is usually very good), the controls are fantastic (and make the game better than the other versions) and the presentation is fantastic but its "far, far too short". They also say that the Duel mode is a "nice touch" although it's multi player only. From the peeps i can see in the screenshot (theres 27 of them), it includes Jedi Luke, Aprentice Luke, Mace Windu, Darth Vader, Jedi Anakin, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Jedi Obi-Wan, Apprentice Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, the guy from this game and the main boss and a load of other background Jedis.

I read that list. 100 albums and not a single Faith No More appearance to be found. Then the list is wrong. I've just got back from Reading Festival. Good weekend but tainted a little bit by loosing my bastard camera. Highlights included: Metallica Rage Against The Machine (my band of the weekend) Tenacious D Ting Tings Hadouken! Future of the Left I was hoping Be Your Own Pet were going to be good, but they really weren't. Tenacious D were much better than I thought they would be.
