Got it on Friday, really enjoying it so far. And thank christ, the Wii actually has downloadable content this time! I downloaded "Another Way to Die" by Jack White and Alicia Keys. It's pretty good fun to play - if a little easy.

When Joe came into TNA, I marked out big time. Having never seen much of ROH or stuff in Japan, I'd never seen Joe wrestle. He blew me away with his style and he instantly became one of my favourites to watch. But he's lost pretty much all of that steam. He's a whinning baby face and hasn't had a 5 star match in God knows how long. Hell, he's barely pulling out 3 star matches. Joe was at his best when he was in the X division (no weight limits blah blah blah) and had smaller guys bump around him. That was awesome to watch. Speaking of Awesome, I can see Kong going down the same route. It's fine when she has smaller girls bump around her but that will dry thin soon and TNA doesn't have the creative talent to make anything new for her.

The Wii isn't that graphically impared, you only have to look at Mario Galaxy to see that. It's just developers haven't pushed it yet. The game could work on Wii (as long as you can use the classic controller).

That's was always my problem too. I'm not too fussed on Don, just as long as he doesn't do that "English" accent he had in the Oceans films. *shudders*

I too was about to reply with, you must be happy now . My first reaction to Jericho winning the title back was "huh? that's a bit quick". But then I remembered that I can now see him as champ next week. Yay. Which shows are people going to? Anyone got tickets for the Smacdown tapings?

We actually had a round on these in my local Pub Quiz - this was the one that took us ages to get.

I'm going to RAW but my friends and I also plan to buy tickets for Smackdown. I'm gutted Punk or Jericho didn't keep the belt for the UK tour, but I'll guess we'll have to make do with Dave as champ. The only bad thing I can forsee is that we probably have cack seats.

Yeah, Eartworm Jim is pretty tricky. Not MegaMan 9 tricky, but tricky none the less.

Lest we forget that Angle stalked Sting's son at his baseball game and then kicked the shit out of him.

They're making a Wii-version of the first Resident Evil game. So it's a remake of a remake (go Capcom). Also, Japan got a Wii-version of Resident Evil 0 and there is a chance we'll see it too. This may not be the strongest line-up of games for the Wii, in fact it's pretty bad. The only saving grace is that there are some good games out next year and from all accounts, Day of Disaster is pretty good. I've just given away my 360 because I've not used it since GoW and haven't had any urges to play any of the new games out for it. With the exception of Dead Space, but given that it's made by EA leaves me with no confidence.

That poster is awesome and the movie looks great.

The trailer looks pretty weak. Jason running is lame. But I'll be there opening night because I'm a mark for Jason.

The Wii thread is a lot like the TNA folder in which if you defend said product you are seen as a "apologist". I just hate how if you say anything good about the Wii it comes off as defending it. The Wii is a very good console with some great games. Are some of the games crap? Of course they are. Are some games on the 360 crap? Of course they are. Are there more crappy on the Wii than the 360? Probably, but those are the games aimed at the "casual" auidence that I'm not a part of so I just ignore it and let them slide past me.

Watching that trailer made me realise I can fall asleep with my eyes open.

Thing is I'm just not arsed about those sorts of games. I don't see the hype over Wii Sports, bowling was fine but that was about it. Wii Play only had two good games on it and Wii Fit was not that good either. I just see these games and let them slide straight past me, ignoring them as they past while I play good games like De Blob.

That game sounds buggy as hell.
