It'd make a follow up book all the more interesting.

Foley had 10+ more years to cover and let's face it, Foley had more stuff happen to him then Edge has. I'd like a follow up from Edge covering the Matt/Lita situation, his push from that, main eventing, having his reign jerked away and his thoughts on his best friend leaving the company. Ditto. He's had enough actually happen to him now to write a good follow up.

Did he tell you to find out from the Benjamins?

On Edge is a great read and only below Foley's books because its so short compared to them. If he'd gone into more depth about the business and been further into/at the end of his career it would have been better.

Kennedy saying that he wants to go to Raw isn't the best idea because it makes Smackdown seem second-rate. There's no reason why he couldn't just be bitching about having no competition and wanting to take nights off or something instead. He would be lost in the IC division crowd on Raw, so I hope he stays on Smackdown and gets elevated till he wins the world title down the track. I'd like to see a Noble/Helms feud over the Cruiser title now, rather than Noble go back to jobbing. I'd also like to see Matt Hardy either go after the US title, or feud with MVP. I can see Hardy/Benoit in a face vs face respect feud producing some good matches with huge crowd reactions. Hotshotting the world title back on Batista before his heat problems are fixed or onto Lashley until he gets more over would be a huge mistake. All they need is an intense feud with Finlay where they get beaten down a bit and come back to destroy him eventually. If Regal and Finlay stayed as allies it would work great. London and Kendrick's feud with Idol and Stevens needs to keep getting TV time. Some actual promos to get to know the teams, and more matches like the one at No Mercy, especially on TV, will really get the fans involved and caring about who has the titles.

Watching Sandman crush beer cans on his head while that song plays in the background would be a trip.

Another great show by Smackdown. No Miz or diva crap this week either.
-
Damnit, I liked Albright. They better not release Burchill next.

Its supposed to be playing Hassan's music.

HBK went for the forearm and it looked like Murdoch was expecting the spot where the running guy stops and kicks the other guy in the face as they bend down for a back body drop.

Obviously he's not going to be. Its a shame its a loser leaves SD match and he's going to show up on Raw when he's recovered. I guess maybe they could move him to ECW to fill Angle's place. He could have some good programs with RVD, Sabu, Punk, FBI etc.
-
So...the girl gets on top of Cena and.... You Can't See Him? He fears nothing and regrets less! 280 pounds though, god damn that can't be true. Cena himself is only like 240.

That match with RVD really did do more to get Holly over than anything else in his entire career has.

JBL is a commentary god. His shit talking to Tazz about being too short to get far, not having won a world title, retiring early, leaving SD for ECW and working for a company that went bankrupt were so dead on. Tazz just had nothing to throw back at him and anything he managed to get out was just trying to save face as much as he could. JR: You mean at jrbbq.com? JBL: That's enough with the cheap plugs, have you seen me on Fox News lately? Cole: I haven't got anything to plug! JBL: That's what your wife says too. Brilliance.

Am I the only one who thinks he's retarted for stating that or do some of you guys think he's right? For what its worth, I agree with you. Umaga can hit those few high-impact moves real nice but I wouldn’t like to try and sit through an Iron Man or 2/3 falls match with him in it.
-
The safest bet would probably be Candice.
-
Surely they'd have to have segments in between the matches, the show is only an hour long.

I always wondered what that would be like.

I was thinking much the same thing watching Benoit do his thing with Regal and not looking like he was even the slightest bit rusty. He should be injected into the title picture or feuded with Kennedy right away, but I'm sure he'll be in a meaningless program with MVP until that guy gets shipped back to OVW or DSW because he's 'not ready yet'. Thinking about that now makes me hope to see Gunner Scott/Brent Albright back on SD sometime.
-
Probably. The crowd at this PPV said otherwise though.
-
Does anybody else see the irony in WWE changing the main event for this show at the last minute for fear of a record low buyrate, all the while Chris Benoit's return from a 5 month break went completely unhyped? I'm not complaining, I much prefer a surprise return like we saw tonight to the ratings motivated bullshit for things like Jeff Hardy or Batista's returns, but if they were truly worried about the buyrate for this PPV they had a great draw up their sleeve.
-
Of course I have, I just don't think these songs really sound like them.

He was holding a towel over his package front-on while talking to Vito and it slipped down some. Then when he left the locker room he was running down the hall bare-assed and bumped into Teddy Long. So we got both.
