Yes, I didn't hear that until after I posted. I came in from a walk and heard the tail end of the report. That makes it even more impressive.

Breaking News: Tiger is going to have reconstructive ACL surgery and is out for the season. That adds a little something to his US Open win for me.

I realize that. I didn't take it to mean that you were comparing Little League to professional leagues. I thought you were comparing Little League to another Little League.

Sometimes the pitcher bats 4th because he is the best overall athlete in LL, al. That's not to say that the league sucks, because most of your best hitters are the best overall players at that age and have the best arms. No one is throwing curves or sliders at that point (shouldn't be, anyway) so if you can throw strikes and have a good arm, you will pitch.

I have a good feeling that that stable starts at the PPV on Sunday. I would like to see them get involved.

That's cool That's not cool

I was in the lead. Do I win?

That is probably what they will do next week, in fact. They tend to over-use that angle, and I hope they don't go that route. I would prefer they stop relying on past booking trends, especially with this angle. They could use next week to get someone else involved, or just do a singles match as the ME. I hate the "How will they get along?" tag team.

Easy Cheese or the canned, heat it up for nachos cheese? Because Easy Cheese is a lot cooler than any of us will ever be.

And I'll never care.

I can't remember the last time I puked. I know it has been years, and it had been a long time before that instance. I just don't puke a lot.

What just happened here?

Well even if you are an AL pitcher, your lazy ass should be running at some point throughout the year. You figure it would help people stay in shape or prevent injuries. Like I alluded to before, what if this injury would have happened while he was fielding a bunt? Better have someone right by the pitcher to be his Designated Fielder.

The signal comes back on about 15 seconds before Flair's music hits. I didn't hear the promo, so I assumed it was going to be a bait and switch by Jericho. They need to keep Flair on the ramp and away from the ring. -

My brother has the theory he comes out to "King of Kings" for promos and comes out to "Time to Play the Game" for matches. Your brother is correct. Iy has to do with the choreographed entrance that he has with "The Game." Personally, I think he should come up out of the stage in the throne at every PPV, and use "King of Kings." -
Updated article at ESPN says Wang is out until September at the earliest. Hank Steinbrenner is lambasting the NL for having such archaic rules where pitchers still run the bases. It was a rule from the 1800's he said. Fuck, why stop there? Baseball could implement Designated Fielders, too. Pitchers that are required to hit is so outdated, we should get rid of hitters that have to field as well.

I'm just glad we're still getting this hot news from our man on the street, MVP.

I have talked about this show, Monk, and Psych a lot on here. I started watching In Plain Sight as well. I love USA's shows.

What I have always heard for the argument of the AL being the more dominant league is the World Series winners of the last several years, and the number of All Star game wins. I find that to be a ridiculous argument. And I wasn't saying take the pitchers' batting stats out for the comparison, I say leave them in and compare this year. Even with the pitchers hitting, the NL is posting better numbers. Besides being .003 behind in batting average, the NL leads in slugging, OBP, OPS, total bases, RBI, and home runs. Granted, they are virtually neck and neck, but the AL used to have much better average stats than the NL. They have caught the AL. If you do what al said and disregard the pitchers' batting stats, the NL is the superior offensive league as a whole this year. Despite being the superior offensive league this year, 7 of the top 10 ERAs belong to NL pitchers. I just find it a dated argument to say, "Oh, he pitches in the NL, whatever."
