I have a laundry list of interactions with celebrities/wrestlers. I have mentioned a few of them on here before, but I know I haven't told the full stories on some of them. Anyway, if you want more details on any of these, just ask: (In no particular order) 1. Watched Jenna Jameson finger herself on the beach at Panama City Beach. 2. In the same pool and hotel at PCB with Steve-O, Pontius, and WeeMan (same trip). 3. Same trip to PCB, it was the last Nitro. WCW and WWF were both there (moreso WCW). I won their Mr. Nitro Contest and hung out with Mike Sanders, Booker T, Kanyon, Jeff Jarrett, Jimmy Yang, Sean O'Haire, and I a few others that are slipping my mind. Booker and Kanyon cut promos with me on my video camera. 4. Met Pat Patterson and Sylvain Grenier at Pike Place Market in Seattle before WMXIX. This was before Sylvain started wrestling. He had a hot chick with him. 5. Interacted with Brock Lesnar very brieflyat Pike Place Market. I neglected to mention that he and my best friend's older brother were banging the same chick two years prior. 6. Went to the AXXESS show before WMXIX and talked with Kanyon again. Chatted with the Fink for about 15 minutes. Talked with Eddie Guerrero and Chavo. Tried to ask a question to the Rock during his interview session, but I was the next guy in line when Rock's time was up (Fink was the emcee, and we had just chatted. He was coming to me and my buddy for questions almost every segment.) 7. Talked to Eli Manning on the phone at 4AM while talking to Byron Leftwich, Troy Brown, and a QB that didn't make it to the NFL. 8. Had a Journalism class with Chad Pennington, and he and I were in a two-man group for projects in that class. 9. This guy might get drafted this year in the NFL, so in a few months, it could be more relevant. I got into a bar fight with Bernard Morris, Marshall's QB of the future at the time. I was choking him out when he grabbed a beer bottle of a table and hit me in the eye with it. 10. I met John COugar Mellencamp on three separate occasions at Myrtle Beach when I was younger. He vacationed there the same week we always went down there, and he always stayed at the same hotel. 11. Met Terry Bradhsaw and got his autograph. 12. Met Mike Singletary and got his autograph. 13. Met General Jack Keane in January. He is an analyst for ABC News, and a consultant for the White House. 14. Had a ton of interaction with Rick Huckaby, a musician. He gets radio play and has released a couple of albums, but I'm quite sure none of you have ever heard of him. 15. Randy Moss called me "dog" once. 16. Jamie Noble is from the town that neighbors my hometown. I used to work out at the smae fitness center that he did, and talked to him a few times. 17. I hung out and drank with The Godfather, Chainz, and Jim Dotson (security guy for WWF for a long time). Funny motherfuckers. 18. When I managed a bar, many NFL players came in their. They either went to Marshall or came in to town with people NFL guys that played at Marshall. Brandon Webb from the Diamondbacks, and Tamar Slay (used to play for the NJ Nets) came in there often as well. Seems like there are more, but I'm drawing a blank. 19. Matthew McCounaghey and McG here in Huntington while filming "We Are Marshall." 20. If we are counting fan interaction at wrestling shows, Samoa Joe, Senshi, and Nigel McGuiness at a show with possibly 60 fans present. I was front row and McGuiness made me part of his match. Edit #2---I was a part of Tracy Brooks' match, too.

What are you getting on your money market at the moment? Is there a minimum investment for the one you use?

I do investments and insurance for a living. Currently, I have an insurance policy that is tied to mutual funds. I use American Funds for my funds in that policy. The AF Growth fund has averaged 14.65% since its inception, which was Feb. 1984. That gves you a fairly broad range of ups and downs, which shows it is a pretty good balanced fund. I also am investing in a Roth 401(k) at the moment. In 2006, my first year at MetLife, my Roth did 15.0%. Last year, I pulled 20.2%. As of Thursday, this year has been an abortion (-7.36%). That doesn't bother me though, because I am keeping the same percentage of my paychecks going into the Roth each week. When you do that, you are basically getting mare shares for your money. That way, when the market goes back up, you make more money. I am viewing both of these as long term investments. If you don't know much about Roth (401(k) or IRA), you pay no taxes when you take the money out later. Pretty good system if it is right for you. I recommend checking out American Funds if you are ever looking for a good mutual fund company. They have 529 plans (college planning), IRA's, and plain mutual fund investments. Their plan is to never use money for advertisements, etc. Instead, they get a higher rate of return because they are not using client money for advertising. They rely on word of mouth from investors, and so far it is working great for them.

Congrats. Where will you be going? I have a friend that is thinking of going to a law school north of Lexington, but I don't remember the name of the school. It wouldn't be Northern Kentucky, would it?

I'll vote for all of them through each of my gimmick accounts. -
I never saw that. Either way, their QB situation is not the best.

What if he isn't wearing a tie? Should he just start removing the stitches?

If the winner of this thing gets banned, we should do one a week for a couple of months. -
Yes, Miami has many, many needs. What I am thinking with taking Flacco is giving Beck control for the next year or two while Flacco develops. You have time to try to get a solid offensive line by that time. If Beck flops or goes down, Flacco may be able to come in. Right now, the back up is Cleo Lemon. Also, none of the moves I am making are trying to make the Dolphins a SuperBowl contender right away, but building for the future. I simply could not pass on Flacco, but I knew other posters wouldn't have taken him so I wanted to get some feedback. I am also not saying I am right or anything, just my thoughts on it.

Well, if you're worried about being cruel, we could always send out a mass message that says, "All those posters that are still registered members at this forum, please stand up. Not so fast, Truthiness." -
Anyone have any feedback on my last selection? I was tempted to go a different route because I figured Flacco would still be there a few picks later at the start of the third round. In the end, I went with him and figured my next pixk would be there as well. Thoughts?

I think what they mean, Luke is that you would have the problem of when to air the show if it were live. If you have it at the customary time here, it would be in the middle of the night over there. It's a double-edged sword. You wouldn't be able to draw a good live crowd, or you wouldn't be able to draw as many buys. If they had it at a normal time over there, it would invariably need to be tape-delayed for optimum buys over here, and the results would be posted as soon as the live show was finished. However, they could put Wrestlemania on a bit earlier over here. If they had it in London at 8PM, it would be 4PM EST. I guess they could get buy with that. Edit---No, I was off an hour. London is 5 hours difference.

Mecca truthiness - Mecca has been more incognito, and The Truthiness has been rampant in teh suck lately. Chazz - Being horrible on a messageboard; Anyone here ever done it? edgehead69 MVP - Both are terrible at life, but this guy shared more about his life outside of this board. Single-handedly made lawmakers consider extending legal abortions to 7 years of age. jericholic82 dustinbeaverton - vanhalen is rarely here people, let's think of killing two birds with one ban. Vanhalen Enigma - major has posted once since 2/12. Enigma brings the pain consistently every day. After eating lunch at Shoney's today with a co-worker, I have to add to this thread. For those not familiar with Shoney's they have candy for sale at the register. I saw three things today that reminded me of this thread. I only remembered two of them by the time I got home: -Bit O Honey -Candy necklace -Other horrible candy to hopefully be remembered later, or else I will call Shoney's and ask what horrible candy they have for sale. Edit---It was those little wax(?) soda bottles that had the liquid in them.
