It's still crazy to me that the Royals of all teams are in a buyer's mode this time of year. I'm sure this will help them, though I think they could use some relief help more than anything. Nevertheless, GO ROYALS!

You know, I've always been a pretty anti-abortion guy. But if it can prevent specimens like this from ever walking the earth, then I may just have to change my mind on the whole thing. Loser. -
Another case of roid rage? Romanowski and Scott Steiner should form a 12-step group to cure their problems.

So what stopped you from smacking her around for a bit? I think I would have if she said some stupid shit like that. Actually, check that...I wouldn't have hit her. I would have just fucked her sister (or, hell, even her mom).

Wrong. It's the Texas/Oklahoma game. Texas/A&M isn't until Thanksgiving, long after the fair has packed up and gone. And Texas/A&M plays a home-and-home series; Texas/OU is always at the Cotton Bowl. Just FYI...

That's what I was getting at. Perhaps a greater problem though, is Bill Walsh still hanging around. He's the one who wouldn't give Mariucci credit for anything, as if it was his genius that was responsible for their very moderate level of success. The old man's time has come and gone.

Not with their new coach guiding them they won't. They will rue the day they got rid of Marriucci.

Yeah, a lot of the people around here are in mourning today over Richmond's loss last night. Their coach was on the Houston sports talk station this morning and he said that game last night was more emotional than anything he's ever been through in his life. He also hinted that he felt Mass. got a huge break on the game-winning play, as he said the kid running to first was out...but I guess that doesn't matter now.

Exactly. Just don't be a dumbass and you'll be ok. As mentioned, debit cards are WAY more dangerous than credit cards; if somebody steals your debit card, they can drain your bank account and you'll have just about zero chance of getting your money back. With credit cards, you'd only be liable for $50 max. Watch your spending and you'll be ok. I've paid exaclty $0.21 in finance charges in the 5 years I"ve had a card, and that was only because I stupidly wrote my check for $138.00, instead of $138.66, thus incurring a finance charge on the $0.66. Pretty idiotic thing to do.

Backlash 2000 was a VERY kick-ass show; I think it's kind of a forgotten gem. My top 3: 1. WrestleMania X-7 2. Backlash 2000 3. Canadian Stampede

Let's hope that, this time, there isn't a visible shot of an airplane flying overhead during the big battle scene as there is in the John Wayne version.

If you live near a college, go hang out around campus and find one of the hundreds of booths offering credit cards to anyone that walks by. Most of them don't even care if you're a student or not; they just want your business.

Nah...that one's all John Travolta's fault. Fuckin' tool.

I just have to say, as a Cubs fan, what the FUCK is up with trading for Womack? This will help us not one bit....
-
The Rams will NOT win the Super Bowl this year or any other year because Mike Martz is a fucking idiot. He's like a cancer to their hopes of winning anything meaningful.

Only if you can guarantee at least 20% of the words in your book are 'fuck'.

Maybe that should tell you something. Hmmm...lemme take a wild guess here...that for some odd reason people wanna see my boobs? Please do. The cock thread needs some tits. But my tits really aren't anything special. We'll be the judges of that.

Yeah, I'd watch it, Stennick. Incandenza is far more popular here than you could ever hope to be. Good luck though...it might be fun to watch you get yourself banned.
-
I don't know man...have you SEEN some of the 'ladies' that play in that league??

As a Cubs fan, I both agree and disagree with you. Yes, Estes hitting the road would be a good thing. Bringing in Weaver? Not so much. Hell, just give Juan Cruz a chance; he's no worse than Weaver, plus it could finally be a chance to see what he can really do. Anyway, this whole thing is hilarious. Maybe the Mariners can put Jeff Cirillo up for bid as well.

Satellite Luring Away Cable Subscribers
sfaJack replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I just got connected with Time Warner Digital cable on Monday at my new place. I've been asking around amongst folks here at work and friends and opinion is about 50/50 on whether cable or satellite is better. My best bud swears by his satellite dish, but I don't know. Some of the things I've heard about weather impacting satellite reception seems like it's more trouble than it's worth. Either way, Time Warner has 6 months to not fuck up too badly. If they do, you can bet I'm going to consider switching. -
I look at it this way: without Pujols fueling their offense, where would the Cardinals be, given their miserable pitching? At least the Giants would still be a decent team without Bonds. But the Cardinals without Pujols? Please. Pujols all the way.

Um...yeah. That's, uh, NOT me.

Dean's budget-balancing act left taxpayers in red
sfaJack replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
I guess you can look at it that way if you want to. Saving nearly $500 a year with my "new" plan (yes, provided I don't get sick or hurt, which is still rather unlikely) is nothing to sneeze at, though. It's interesting to note, however, that if I had stuck with my $250 deductible plan, the cost for my PPO would have only gone up $3 a month from last year. Wow. I chose the other plan because I saw no point in paying nearly $50 a month more and having to pay only $250 our-of-pocket in the unlikely event I needed major health care, instead of paying $15 a month and taking a somewhat safe gamble that I won't need to pay the $1000 out-of-pocket. I just don't see where the problem is (for me personally...I obviously can't speak for others). -
That's because Fox News... kinda sucks. They deserve anything bad that happens to them. Are you saying this because you actually think that they deserve to have bad things happen to them, or is it simply because you don't like their viewpoints? Jesus, for someone who (constantly) promotes tolerance for all walks of life in this world (i.e. your condemning the board's "hatred" of the French), YOU sure are quick to wish bad things on those whom you don't happen to agree with.
