Holy positive reviews. 90% fresh and the reviews themselves are totally gushing over this movie. I am hoping to see this tonight. Anybody see it yet?

I can't wait until the Marlins play the Phillies. I might have to convince my girlfriend she needs to visit her parents in Philadelphia just so I can go see one of the games. They've won every series since they split 2-2 with the Cards. Another shutout tonight and Burnett throwing tomorrow. It's hard to not be optimistic with the pitching staff.

Apparently a Phoenix radio station has said Clemens. A station in Detroit has said Clemens and Jeter, while a station in Boston has said Clemens and Damon. The Clemens rumor is certainly gaining ground and could definitely be the rumored player "who will bring MLB to its knees." I'd be shocked if it was Jeter - that's probably just a garbage rumor. Again, just a rumor, but it's just about everywhere now so I figured I'd post it here. EDIT: And apparently Rob Neyer might know something...

If the next 4 or 5 are going to be the heads of all of the Simpsons, I don't see the reasoning behind getting the replacement boxes. I imagine they will go a different route for seasons 11-15 as well. Eh, it's not the nicest, but I do like the DVD case on the inside of the head.

I like this packaging, once you open Homer's head... I love the way the DVDs are set up. And I bought mine at Best Buy. It came with a plastic sleeve that matches the side art of all the other DVDs...it's black and has Chief Wiggum and Mr. Burns. It matches all of the others from the side and looks good on the shelf.

I had planned on playing some xbox tonight but I just have to stop and watch Felix pitch on mlb.tv. This would be the first time in my entire life that I have ever watched a game just to see someone pitch.

Look for Delmon Young either next month or starting next year. Amazing talent. I'd reckon instant All-Star, like Cabrera, Pujols, and A-Rod were.

The newest member of the Baseball Tonight crew... HELL FUCKING YES! And he's actually pretty good at it. Easily better than Steve Phillips and Larry Bowa already. The flashbacks they showed of him in 1993 reminded me how much teal actually used to be on the field back then. Glad they toned it down.

YES! Mike Lowell and Todd Jones just used the hidden ball trick to get a runner on 3rd base in the bottom of the 8th in a 1 run game. Just amazing. I'll probably never see that again.

The text ads are blocking the entire section of the toolbar that leads to the control panel. I'm running Firefox on OS X Tiger if that helps at all. I'm pretty sure I had the same problem when I was still running XP.

Man, the Devil Rays would make out like bandits there. Getting Yusmeiro Petit and Lastings Milledge for Danys Baez and Aubrey Huff! They can't win now, so why not trade for the prospects. Their team is going to be unreal with Delmon Young, BJ Upton...wow. I don't even think Chuckles Lamar can mess it up. As for the trade, I hope it doesn't happen. Manny on the Mets is not a good thing for the rest of the NL East.

To be honest, I am still holding out hope for a run at the NL East. There's a lot of games left with the Braves to make up ground. Although a run at the WC is much more realistic.
