Good news for all the Phillies fans and all the Marlins fan (ok, me)... Houston is down 6-0 to the Pirates. 1.0 and 2.0 GB for the Phils and Marlins respectively. And, I think after this, Clemens is out of the Cy Young race.

Anybody know of any places selling a t-shirt with the Numbers on it? I did a google search and two came back from CafePress, but both were hideously ugly. I'm thinking a simple black T with the numbers on it in white. If anyone comes across anything like this, please pass along the info because I'd love to have one.

Well, I honestly think the Marlins are finished. But the thing with them is that you can never predict what they are going to do. They can win the next 6 games...they are that unpredictable. I have a bad feeling this offseason is going to be difficult as well.

Ok, here goes.. 1) That was obviously typed after the eight shutout innings 2) I highly doubt that the two errors and Juan Pierre's serious misplay that was in between them was Dontrelle's fault 3) You've already been proven wrong and today's eight shutout innings proved it. If McKeon took Dontrelle out to start the 9th like he should have the defense didn't implode - it would have been a different story. And for the above post: You mean depending on one of the best closers in all of MLB this season was a mistake? Just because he sucked for the Phillies and pretty much everywhere else doesn't mean he sucks this year. Check the stats.

Game and season most likely over for the Marlins. Three consecutive errors misplays in the 9th inning. All that was missing was the white towel... Thank God I didn't get the game today on Fox. It would have pissed me off even worse.

I'm not so sure Kate would be with Jack either. I was going over the DVDs and someone was asking Kate why she wouldn't move to the caves and her answer was..."Sometimes you need to have faith" or something similar to that. It immediately popped into my head that she might side with Locke even though Jack is her man. Funny DVD moment: The deleted scene where Charlie tries to impress Shannon and starts singing You All Everybody. She then goes on to trash Driveshaft and asks him if he has the song stuck in his head, "their only song." After he says yeah, she says, "I'm sorry" and he walks away. It was a pretty funny scene.

For the record, I am one of the people who contributed positive answers, because I always enjoyed watching Barry play. I guess I can separate his off the field behavior from his God-like level of play better than some, but I just have good memories of Bonds 73 HR season. I'll never forget watching the game against the Astros where they put up 4 fingers in his first few at-bats. He gets one pitch, one pitch and he drilled it out. I just remember thinking at the time how amazing that was. I'm not trying to start another steroids war/argument, but I'm just surprised that nearly 50% of people seem to agree with me, when the media would have you believe it's closer to 0%.

Dontrelle Willis just hit a 428 foot upper deck bomb in Houston to put the Marlins up 6-1. Man, I love watching him play.

I'm surprised no one mentioned it yet, but Barry makes his season debut tonight. Should be interesting tomorrow, especially if he jacks one out. Marlins have an early advantage against the 'Stros and Willis appears to have his A game but could change very easily.
