Alfie to take DNA test
-
WTF ENGLAND? I mean... come on! Considering she was willing to have sex with a twelve year old, who looked about nine, is it really that surprising she was having sex with a few guys?
-
There's a lot of talk he might not even be the dad and should get a DNA test. The girl had quite a few partners, according to the rumours and she may just be saying it's his. I'm not even sure a twelve year old boy could get the mechanics right, quite frankly. I think there's a good chance its not his. They should go on Maury. Although this might be too fucked up even for him.

Just because there isn't literal physical abuse in the household doesn't mean social services can't take them away. There are plenty of other reasons why they could and should. It would be difficult to find her mentally incompetent (yes, despite the fact, she's clearly got emotional issues) and if you can't do that, the only thing you have left to prove is abuse. If you start saying it's abusive that she has 14 kids...well, that's a can of worms to open up, because of all the large families in the world. It's actually very difficult to terminate someone's parental rights completely. They have to be a crazed junkie or in and out of prison. Also, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, she's going to make some money out of this. So, at least she'll be able to get a bigger house and a few nannies and the kids will be cared for.

It would be very difficult to terminate Nadya's parental rights and give the kids up for adoption. We can all talk about how crazy she is, but she can at least pretend to be normal, if we go by the interviews. And while she probably has let her mother raise the first 6 kids for her, and not been a great parent to them, there's no proof she was ever abusive. I think social services will insist she gets a bigger place, but I can't see them taking the kids away from her entirely.

Eliza as a top hostage negotiator was not believable at all, although maybe that was the idea. Putting her hair up and giving her glasses did not make it anymore believable. Uwe Boll did the same thing with Tara Ried in Alone in the dark and then marvelled at how smart she looked. So, that's one thing Whedon and Boll have in common. The premise is very flawed, and it seems difficult to get a few seasons out of a show that doesn't have a main character to speak of. I don't know where you can go with it.

It probably was a work. It seemed to be a very forced awkwardness in parts, unlike interviews with Farrah Fawcett or Courtney Love, where they were genuinely high and completly crazy. Particularly the bit where Dave is talking about his new music career and goes 'so, I suppose you'll be singing' which sets up the joke where Joaquin says 'No, a rap career' and then looks up, because he's expecting a laugh from the audience.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread
Atticus Chaos replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
He CAN wrestle again. From what I understand it's not a Bret Hart situtation where his health would be in serious jeopardy.if he did. He might not wrestle at Mania, if they can't get the right deal, But it's not that far-fetched to think he will. -

This has been brought up before, but how can Austin wrestle Orton unless he's holding a title? Orton's got a guaranteed title shot. The Stephanie/HHH phonecall was interesting, but I don't know if that'll be anything to do with WM, or they're saving HHH for a while yet (when Steph really gets desperate and has to get him involved?) -
This story is getting weirder and weirder by the day, it probably wouldn't shock me at this point. No-one seems sure who the father is (Casey originially said he died in a car accident but that's been confirmed as not true) You'd think the guy would have come foward by now, to grieve for his daughter or to help the police.

Fla. Doctor Investigated in Badly Botched Abortion
Atticus Chaos replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in Current Events
A lot of people really buy into the 'life begins at first breath' idea. I personally think abortion is a lot easier to justify in the first trimester and early on in the second. By the time you get to twenty weeks, I have problems with it. The woman made a mistake in deciding to even have one at 23 weeks. -
I think Whedon knows the show is probably screwed. Hearing him and the rest of the cast try to spin the move to Friday as a good thing was depressing. And after seeing some clips of Eliza Dusku in Dollhouse, I'm even more convinced it was terrible casting. Emote Eliza! Emote!

What will be the worst movie of 2009?
Atticus Chaos replied to Obi Chris Kenobi's topic in Television & Film
After stinking up smallville for eight years, I have absolutely no faith in Kristin Kreuk as the lead in a movie. Hey, at least streetfighter had Kylie Minogue. -
I can see this thread in about two weeks "So Fox announced they cancelled dollhouse today."

Fla. Doctor Investigated in Badly Botched Abortion
Atticus Chaos replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in Current Events
I think the law in most places is pretty clear that after it's breathing, it's a person. As soon as they saw it was born alive, they should have given it medical treatment. That's what most doctors are told to do in the rare event a child survives an abortion. -

A baby born at 23 weeks would have a decent chance at survival, they've saved ones at 21 weeks before. Babies are born alive in the second semester all the time. An examanination of the remains said it was breathing after it was born, which means it was probably crying. I don't think they could reasonably claim not to know it was alive. The whole situation is crazy. -

I would love to see Rourke win the oscar and go on to wrestle at the pay per view. The academy prides themselves on being so high brow (to the point they'd rather die than give the dark knight or spiderman II a best picture nod) and for a guy to win the most prestigious award they have and then wrestle on a show with midgets, giants, bodybuilders and more freaks would be brilliant. -
Casey Anthony dissaproves of public funeral for daughter It's almost a shame they won't let her out of prison to go. I'd love to see everyone's reaction to her showing up.

Hey, genocidal maniacs are regular people too. I'm sure even Hitler got distracted from trying to take over the world sometimes by Eva Braun's tantrums and girly shit.

I think JBL's going to win at NWO, mainly because most people seem to be assuming HBK will win and that's the angle over with. I'm not sure where they go from there. A few weeks of Layfield forcing HBK to do a series of demeaning tasks, and this leads to match at wrestlemania? I don't know what they're thinking. They seem to be caught between wanting to end it now, and continuing it for a few months.

There's a lot of dark comedy in the whole 'Dubaku is evil, but posing as a nice guy for girlfriend' storyline. Next week: Dabaku attempts to set off a nuclear bomb, threaten the president of the united states AND go on a romantic dinner with his girlfriend! Dabaku might be able to get away with killing millions of people, but can he get away with forgetting he and his girlfriend's six month anniversary? Stay tuned for an all new 24!

That's a picture from a while ago. She's clearly had a lot of work done. So, while her six kids are struggling to survive and get everything they need, she's out getting herself Angelina Jolie lips? This woman is completely vile.
-
Well, they have to be careful. They don't want it to look like they're picking on her just because she has a lot of kids.
-
If you listen to the grandmother, it might not be a bad idea for Social Services to investigate. According to her, her and the grandfather take care of the 6 kids. The mother doesn't have much to do with them. She has never paid for the kids or put any money towards them despite her disability pay, and most of her money went on cosmetic surgery and IVF payments.
