    WWE Raw - February 16, 2009

You've always been wrong! Mickie, Kelly, Maryse, Katie Lea > Melina. The 4 you named are certainly better looking than Melina, but she's also not the worst looking Diva around, except for the slight resemblance to a horse in the face area.

    WWE Raw - February 16, 2009

From lordsofpain.net So more viewer tuned in after the first hour according to this. I didn't see RAW this week, so I can' comment on what might have brought in the viewers.

Christian's Re-debut in WWE has occurred!

I think the idea is that more people would be watching the RR than One Night Stand or Smackdown, which is certainly true. I see nothing wrong with Christian not being the one behind the attacks, as no one was expecting Matt. It was a bigger surprise, and has a better pay-off, buy-rate wise for the WWE.

    Aronofsky's "The Wrestler"

From the stories I have heard, Aronofsky wrote the movie for Rourke, but he turned it down the first time. Cage got the part, but dropped out after being backstage at an ROH event. Aronofsky sent the script to Rourke again, even after hearing that he could not get financial backing for Rourke. Rourke re-read the script after Aronofsky told him he couldn't pay him, but could get him an Oscar. I read these from various media news sites over the production time. Rourke also mentioned on Leno, I believe, about not getting paid but getting the Oscar nod.

    Friday The 13th (2009)

From what I read on bloody-disgusting.com, I believe it was that site, the people at PD said they are going to work on the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET film first, and then do a sequel to F13. Thinking about it, since PD did TCM and F13, could it be possible that we are on the way to another VS film. As an aside, from an interview from a while ago, I remember Robert Englund saying that he's been signed to the new ANOE, but as Freddy before he's a dream killer since he didn't want to get into the make-up. I'm interested. And with these three icons done, and with CANDYMAN (more like the story than the original film), HELLRAISER (which Doug Bradley has signed on for), and CHILD'S PLAY (More like Don Mancini's script and with Brad Dourif signed on), on the way, I was thinking it would be awesome to have a boxed set of all the remakes/reboots/reimages.

    2009 Movie Tournament Finals

This is a tough one for me, do I pick the movie that is my choice, GOODFELLAS, or do I pick a movie that is on my top 3 all-time favorites list? Damn you tournament gods! Oh well, since I put it down, I'll go with GOODFELLAS.

Nothing says "Friday the 13th" fan like Petey Williams Finisher 213. Wow, I totally forgot about that part. I copied this from another message board that I post on, ad my user name is Jason Hodder. That shows me, to reread a post before I run out of the house.

    Friday The 13th (2009)

I saw this last night for my birthday, and I must say, this is the most fun I have had at the movies in a long time. Being the huge FRIDAY fan that I am (look at my name), this was such a fun film. It was everything that an old school 1980's slasher film was. It had the killings that were very well done. It had sex with the nudity, and it had comedy in all the right places to make the scares great. Everyone in the theater was having a good time. Once the title screen that had FRIDAY THE 13th came up, the theater went nuts and started clapping. What a fun movie that should be taken for what it is A SLASHER FILM. This is not CITIZEN CANE and anyone that is trying to take this movie seriously, really needs to get the priorities right. The acting wasn't great, but I DARE you to find a FRIDAY movie that had good acting. It was what it was supposed to be! That's the problem with some horror fans, they take these movies WAAAAY too seriously. My wife, who has NEVER seen a horror film in the theater before, and has seen a total of maybe 4 movies, all within the past 3 years, had a good time with this. She actually liked it. One of my friends also just told me, after watching this he has hope for horror again. Some horror fans just need to stop taking this stuff seriously and have fun with this stuff like it's supposed to be. I would see this again in the theater, and just might. MY BLOODY VALENTINE was fun and so was this in it's own right.

I thought it was after Road Dogg spouted out that "puppies" line in 1999. We have a winner.

    When TNA closes...

That is the key to why Paul Heyman might just be a good fit for TNA. He had a good to great mind for wrestling, specifically for what his audience wanted, but he had a terrible mind for business. If he doesn't have to worry about money, then I think he can do a good job, see above statement about him in OVW.

    Watchmen

IMO, if the rest of the movie is as bad ass as this gu is making it sound, I can deal with one part that is not up to the rest. It doesn't mean he's horrible, just that everything else is so much better than he.

    WWE 2009 Draft announced

I think that Cryme Tyme on ECW would be a very choice. The Raw tag division is really shit, and from ECW they would be able to show up on Smackdown, which I think would draw a better demographic for them. Plus they have more competition on ECW/Smackdown.

    Robert Roode: Future Star?

Anyone who thinks that WWE is trying to get Roode due to wrestling ability might be looking at this too hard. He's one half of the Tag Team champions. The E right now is going to try to get anyone they can and make them look bad. Doing this, in their mind, shows that TNA is still the minor leagues compared to them. I like Roode, and have been one of the few on here to have his back for a long time, but I think he would be stupid to go to the E. He has a lighter schedule, and can milk Jarrett and Dixie for a lot of money, and maybe even a title win in his contract. Roode pretty much has TNA where he wants them at this point.
