Ok got them, I take it he wants the top one first, and if it isn't available the one after it?
-
*Curses 909 as he wanted 'blank' as well* Oh well, I had my chance! I'm cool with managers being whenever, there's a few I can go with and I don't think between the 13 of us we'll all go for the same ones.

11am UK time tomorrow? If so I'll be on before work (and during) I'd just like to name drop one more guy.... If Newcastle really had signed him, we might have won the cup Just realised that's Robot Wars turned Live5 turned commentator for everything Jonathan Pearce. This was BEFORE he became a commentator too, probably around 96/97, so maybe just as he did Robot Wars. Odd!

Aye that's a bit odd, throws the PPV right open though if Champion X gets drafted to Brand Y.
-
It was an odd season, he played like he just didn't care, yet still did ok. I mean, if we didn't know him from the Premier League he would have just looked like the 'average' Barca player. Though, this season Barca have been poor.
-
Oh didn't realize there was a manager to pick as well. Hmm... *strokes beard and ponders* is that the last pick?
-
I'll begrudgingly say he's a good manager, but everyone bone in my body just says 'I don't like him'. I hate his blind eye remarks during games, how he'll see Bob on the opposite team tickle one of his strikers, yet 'I did not see it' when one of his players kicks the opposition in the face right in front of him in the dug out - for example. His transfers have been outstanding, as has his utilization of the players he brings in. The only thing I don't like is the amount of foreign players he's brought into the game, I mean its been great for the Premier League but poor for English Football.

Is this Tomorrow Night?

I'd agree with that 909. Bergkamp was a very hardworking player, and didn't 'sulk' on the pitch when things weren't going his way. Towards the end of the Henry's tenure at Arsenal people figured a way to brick Henry out of the game and defeat Arsenal as they were just a one player team at the time. Stop Henry stop Arsenal. Spot on about Henry's International career too - you can add Euro2008 to that too. However saying that, Henry was the reason Arsenal did so well, they developed their style around him and the success. So it certainly isn't a bad choice, he's skillful has a deft finishing touch and in his prime blistering pace.

Man Burger's kicking game is extreme!

Blankie Blank is a good player though, he was a star during World Cup 19blank for Blank. Thinking about it though, there's so many amazing players to choose in this draft its unreal. I've spent the last hour or so sitting through watching youtube videos of countless people.
-
Ah sorry, don't mean to give potential draft picks away. Though makes it hard for discussion of picks
-
Not sure about that, think I'd personally go with Bergkamp, but its certainly close. I'd like to hear what an Arsenal fan would say. Ian Wright? Tony Adams? Henry? Bergkamp?
-
Ah he really was one of the biggest stars in the premiership since the start of 2000, nice choice.
-
Well, that's not our team then!

I've put glue on my gloves and grease on my shoes coach

Cheers, I'm playing FM atm haha. Started off unemployed, got a job with Crawley Town and took them to Division 2 so far Michael Bridges up front
-
What formation do you want? 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1? 4-4-1-1 Cheers
-
Ooh send a blank one please, I'll update my team
-
Aye that's true, plus England weren't really that 'hot' during the 80s. I mean, obviously its a highlight reel, but look at the control he has over the ball and some of the goals he scores in the youtube video I posted for him - amazing. EDIT: Edited my pick to correct the youtube videos disappearing.

I know, if this was a pub, I'd let you hit me for that haha or buy you a pint. Beardsley is one of the most under rated English midfielders of all time, I can't explain why he doesn't get the credit he does. If he had been Italian/Brazilian/etc he'd get rave reviews. Be a while before there's another player like him.

Round #1 Pick #13 Overall #13 Peter Beardsley Naff hair amazing feet Newcastle United Legend and former England International Peter Beardsley. There's not many people who get to play for Newcastle United, Liverpool, Everton and Manchester United in their careers (oh and Carlise) and become a hero at all clubs. Has scored some of the most breath taking goals during the premierleagues early years, and some say single handedly handed Andy Cole his record breaking 42 goals in a single season achievement. I once had the honor of meeting Peter Beardsley when he was buying a game for his Daughter while I was working at GAME. He had all the time in the world to talk to me, and that made me week. He is my footballing hero, and the reason I wanted to play the game as a kid. Here's to ya, Sir Peter of Beardsley! Always up for a great laugh too: -------------------------------------------------------------- Round #2 Pick #1 Overall #14 I apologies to TheFranchise here as I've totally stolen his pick... Gordon Banks 2nd Best Hands in Football after the 'Hand of God'.

Solid Snake for President! -
They weren't amazing per se when you compare them to midfields of Platini, Cantona, *unpicked* and such, but still good point. Guivarc'h was my CM legend that year. Who went on to sign for Newcastle United, after being the top scorer in the French leagues for 3 seasons in a row or so. Had a real poor World Cup, came to the Toon, had one season and left having not scored a goal. The tradition of ruining great European players continued.
