See what I mean. Christian Bale probably wouldn't have gone and attacked someone. Even if there were prominent wrestlers there, I think they know better to attack someone, and they'd probably just leave if they were offended. Scott Hall was intoxicated, so it's not like he should be praised for being some kind of moral savior.
-
At the same time, nobody would attack someone if they made a joke about Heath Ledger at a roast of some actor or actress. At least one wouldn't think someone would. Wrestling fans are just some of the most sensitive people I've seen/heard and it's really annoying.

With the way the Rangers are starting out, I'm a little nervous about tonight's Flyers opener. Once again it seems like a Philly team's division may be the very best in their respective sport. This will be a true test, and I hope the Flyers can make it a good opening night in Philly.

Most people probably think a roast is an honorable, respectable tribute. I did at first, and then I was like OH...
-
Yeah, it's obvious some people are gonna be offended and some aren't. You can't tell someone they can't be offended, even if it is a roast. There are gonna be arguments about everything, and if people don't know what a roast is, they're gonna get offended and act like they're holier than thou. It's not like anyone here was truly friends with Owen Hart.

If only someone could tell Howard Eskin that.... -

In what should have been a blowout winds up being a close game. And now the bullpen needs to shut the door on the Dodgers. -

I understand what you mean, but the Phillies were on a roll of their own at the end of the season as well. Manny is dangerous, but Furcal is being hyped way too much. -
Well, what did he say tonight?

Kinda creepy when they had the kiss cam on that girl and guy and the girl clearly said "he's my brother" but the guy didn't seem to care and wanted to get in a kiss.

Yeah, I really don't get that Noah has to always somehow incorporate a bit in his post that makes him look like he's trying to convince everyone he knows everything. I mean, apparently he isn't the type of guy to do that, but fuck if most of his posts aren't some sort of a "i've done this so I think this" statement. Nobody needs to list their credentials in every single post.

It's amazing how personal gripes blind people from an unbiased opinion.

Kane has morals. He wants to beat him fair and square. I thought that was obvious.

I really need to find a site where they explain WWE's use of ring rope colors. It's weird how they're randomly changing them for this year's PPV's. Blue for Summerslam, Unforgiven, and No Mercy? Red for Royal Rumble? Just kinda weird.

That was a horrible piece of baseball I just witnessed. Absolutely unacceptable especially when nobody was really near the popup when it dropped.
-
I thought it was funny.

You mean he should try and go the other way in that situation? Because if that's what you are insinuating, I agree. He seemed lucky in last night's 9th inning to get that base hit just out of the reach of the 3rd baseman who was playing almost behind 2nd base.

Well, I mean in comparison to last year when we faced the blazing Rockies, who I thought would steamroll the Phils and they unfortunately did. I wasn't scared of the Cubs or Dodgers, and I just hope we can continue to ride this wave.

The whole area will be electric on Thursday. I'm thankful they didn't have to come back for a Game 5 on Tuesday night since I'm going to the Flyers/Phantoms game. I always love playoff baseball since I'm a huge baseball lover, but I haven't been this excited for the NLCS in a long, long time. I figure that's obvious, but I actually think we have a chance. I hope we get our bats going and our pitching holds up.

You know it. Anyways, sucks for the Bills as my bro in law loves them so while the Eagles continue to suck, I'd like to see the Bills succeed.
-
I hope the Cowboys, Giants, and Skins continue to keep winning to facilitate the Eagles to somehow play with the will to win.

Nah, it was more of a friendly jab than anything. I loved it, though. He said "hopefully this town will become a little more red than green, uh, no offense to that football team, they're great." It was pretty funny.

Cole Hamels puttin down the Eagles. Glorious times. I'll never hate him or whine about him again.
