Yeah, Hogan dropped the title to Luger in August for the 100th episode of Nitro. That's mainly the reason they did the title switch, because Hogan won it back 6 days later. I think the excuse they used for Luger's Nitro shot was he still had the title shot from Spring Stampede in the 4 way with Harlem Heat and the Giant. Am I remembering wrong? I can only think Hogan lost by DQ or something to Luger in this episode.

Do you mean what comes off in the spoilers? I record TNA every week. I'm not entertained as much as I am by WWE, but that's probably because I grew up with WWF, and am loyal to them and probably always will be. TNA is hit or miss with a lot of things with the way I look at it. And I hate having Angle all over my TV every week. He's not the best and hasn't been the best in a long time. I'd rather them go back to the way it was in 2005, in what I think was one of their better years. I don't need to have everyone in the roster involved in one TV show to be entertained. I'm just laid back which is why I can tolerate almost everything WWE does. TNA, not so much because they have so much potential to really give WWE a run, but there are a lot of things they need to get in order. Number one would be get rid of Tenay and West. They are terrible. I'd rather them have a true #1 PBP guy with Tenay as the color guy like he did in WCW, or a heel wrestler who doesn't wrestle much.

To add to my previous post, if Cena was caught doing pot as champion, everyone would call for him to drop the title and be suspended. Difference is, he probably would be put right back into the main event upon his return. It's his relationship with Vince that allows that. RVD never really had a great relationship with Vince, and when Vince finally gave him the ball, he dropped it. RVD never really should have been given another opportunity when you think about it, given his relationship with Vince. That lone incident lost Vince's trust in RVD. RVD was probably not apologetic anyways, since that is his lifestyle. It shouldn't be that hard to understand that aspect, even if you are a big RVD fan.

Comparing speeding and getting caught with pot is so inconsequential it shouldn't even be a valid comparison. Pot is pot...no matter who you are, you're going to be looked at as a bad role model. You can't tell me if Michael Jordan got caught with pot and suspended by the NBA, nobody wouldn't understand why.

Agreed, but I'm assuming everyone in the Red Wings organization and their fans think it was dirty just because it was Lidstrom getting hit. Like he is untouchable. That's what really pisses me off. If someone took a run at Richards and took him out cleanly, I wouldn't get all bent out of shape over it. Richards is my favorite player, but come on it's hockey, everyone should be fair game. I have no problem with enforcers trying to protect their teammates, either. That's the price you pay when taking a run at someone. If it was a hit like Downie put on McAmmond or Boulerice put on Bergeron I think it was(?), then yeah, it's dirty.

Sure there's still more than a month until WM, but I'm eager for their feud to rekindle, if that's indeed what plans are.

Let's not forget that whenever wrestler A and wrestler B have a conflict with wrestler C (in this case, group C)-The Hart Foundation, they almost always buddy up to try and take down C. This time, they had their own problems with each other and it seemed real compared to the fake feeling comradery just because they both dislike someone else. Austin and HBK, I thought, had a real feud between them as well as the Harts. They legit felt they didn't need each other to take out a common enemy. I used to think it would lead to an ultimate feud between the two (while both were faces).

Seems that iggy isn't a wrestling fan. He stated he started watching 10 years ago, which is almost proof he isn't a wrestling fan. He loves the entertainment aspect. That type of shit gets frowned upon here on the great TSM. I don't necessarily agree with him, but I'm not gonna say he is wrong since he has his own preferences. I don't take anything seriously, and I think RAW is a hell of a lot more entertaining than iMPACT! TNA does try too hard, and I agree with cabbageboy. But I definitely don't think iggy can label himself a "wrestling" fan. And I definitely don't think iMPACT! is a better "wrestling" or "entertaining" show.

Maybe I'm just biased because I hate the Western Conference in basketball. In hockey, I'm sort of indifferent. Reminds me of the Red Wings/Avalanche rivalry. I loved that shit, and still do.

Maybe if they needed to establish a rising star.... while I realize there might not be enough of a biography to complement a rising star, it would make more sense to do that than to just give the title back to someone who doesn't need it to be over. I think a DVD compilation of a career shouldn't necessarily mean grounds for giving that person a title.
