HHH sucks as a face, but that ending was pretty cool.

With Bischoff as a heel, I think Steph could be a good face....

Hey, I wonder if they will bring up the fact that Steph faked a pregnancy and that HHH beat her...nah. How about that pesky stipulation of her leaving the Wwf...muahahaha, I'M SO BAAAD~!

I guess I will never know since I usually turn the channel whenever she is on. And it's because she is SO GOOD at being a heel...honest!

Tazz called the shining wizard... YAY~!

Is it wrong for me to mark out everytime finlay and ace are on tv?

No. Too bad Fit's retired, I'd love to see him & Regal stiff the shit out of each other.

So, I wonder with how Bischoff was positioned while talking to Steph, if he did any favors to HHH in the limo.

Too bad she's not a heel anymore. I guess you'll just HAVE to be forced to watch her.

Random Thoughts on Raw

I only caught half of the show, but here’s what I thought:

-Defending America’s honor and making the pin against the anti-Americans: a Canadian.

-God, I know the crowd eats it up, but I hate the hulk-up. Just once, I’d love to see someone kick Hulk really hard in the nuts during the hulk-up for real. Let’s see him no sell that.

-Good Angle and Rock match, but you had to know there was no way it was ending clean.

-Face Stephanie didn’t annoy me half as much as I thought she might. Hell, let’s see where this goes, we’ve got nothing better to do.

-Trip’s Stephanie “weight” comment. Okay, over the past year, who has put on more weight? Stephanie, Triple H, or Eric Bischoff? Pot to kettle, come in kettle, you’re black. Repeat, you are black. Over.

-I really wish whoever pointing out that HHH says “uh” a lot during his promos hadn’t done so. I never noticed it before, and now I can’t stop.

I was wondering if I was the only one who immediately jumped to that thought. But I was pretty sure it would be the other way around.

Bischoff: ...and as an added signing bonus, Hunter, here's a fine pearl necklace!

Okay, I'll shut up. :D

Well, thank you for a week's worth of nightmares. I'll be needing some might hard liquor to get that visual out of my poor brain. :)

What the hell happened to the show that has been so entertaining the last month or so?

Several things were established on tonight's insomnia curing edition of Smackdown:

1) Stephanie is still a horrible actress and still successfully sucks the heat out of the entire show.

2) Stephanie the bad-ass, whiny face is just as annoying as Stephanie the bad-ass, whiny heel.

3) Triple H and Eric Bischoff are allowed to get one-up on Stephanie. Meanwhile, Team Canada is scared of her and Chris Jericho gets outsmarted by her. The pecking order has already been established. (Nice to know that Jericho is rewarded for signing a new deal and (along with Angle) being the workhorse of the Smackdown brand by not even having a match announced for the PPV and then getting to play second fiddle to Stephanie again.)

4) Vince McMahon actually believes the "war" between Bischoff and Stephanie over who gets to sign Triple H is more of a draw to entice people to buy the PPV than Rock going after the WWE title. (I know the thought of Stephanie and Bischoff giving Triple H verbal blowjobs for 30 minutes is really going to entice me to order Vengeance.)

5) The focus of the company will continue to be on annoying figureheads who don't go on the road, who don't wrestle on PPV's and who don't generate any interest in the product. As opposed to building the company around the established main eventers and the rising stars that people actually <gasp> pay money to see.

6) Eric Bischoff will be the next Chris Jericho.

LOL That is the funniest thing I have seen all week. Obscure simpsons references rule.

As for SD I only watched about 5 minutes total. I watched the Jericho intro just to see if they edited out the pops which they did and I saw the end of the Chavo match just to see him cut a promo. I skipped the rest and can't say that I missed it at all which is very sad.

Why the fuck is RVD/Brock being annouced so far down the card?

Since this is SD, they announce all the SD matches first, because you've just seen those performers on the show. The order they announce it during the run down doesn't necessarily mean that's the order they'll appear on the card anyway.

I enjoyed tonight's show. None of the matches were terrible. The main event was great, sans the finish, but I guess clean victories are saved for PPV. The Helms/Chavo match rocked, as did Big & Hard vs. Billy & Chuck, which was a nice surprise.

The Steph thing didn't bother me as much as it would have had I not read the spoilers. My anger was vented out already, and she was actually okay tonight.

The canned heat was in full effect tonight, which was a bit of a turn-off, but otherwise, good show.

While I was watching Smackdown, I was thinking that the show was missing something. I thought that a promo with Team Canada would have been a good way generate heat for this Sunday. I mean that maybe Team Canada could have called Edge a traitor and set up a Edge heel turn, if that is what they are planning to do. Well I hope that is what they are planning to do. PLease, please, please....

"annoying figureheads who don't go on the road" - BCU

Uh, hello, yes they do. They dont do all the house shows but they are on the road.

What's up w/ her voice?

Well, HHH's steroid induced sperm must do something to the vocal chords.

Wasnt that witty?

hmm, no.

You're just pissed you didn't say it first.

I dont mind Steph's voice and i think The Game is a good performer who, although not up to former glory, entertains me.

Also, your mindless HHHate bullshit is fucking annoying.

Repetitive, maybe, but mindless? How dare you.

It actually takes me a few seconds to come up with this stuff. I shit you not.

They should have had Rock say to Bischoff

"You were with AWA. It folded. You were with WCW. It folded. Are you trying to go 3 for 3?"

Hey, what WAS wrong with Stephanie's voice? I'm guessing she had a cold or something...

Whoa whoa whoa! KNOBLE POWERBOMBED KIDMAN~? D'oh... Dr. Tom already made that joke... any jokes that haven't been made yet? ::checks thread/Dr. Tom:: Damn! Screw you east coasters! ;)

So, ummm... yea, since Team Canada didn't get a promo and didn't go over, does that mean they're going to win the titles on the PPV?

I was wonder if anyone else noticed that the crowd was poping and standing up and clapping when Jericho put "The Walls.." on Cena, but there was nothing but boos. <_<

Also, I don't know about the rest of you but UPN went to shit last night on me. In the middle of Steph's promo on the stage it went to commercial right in the middle of it cutting her off. (I know I should be happy about that but I at least wanted to hear what she had to say) Then it came back to her walking up to Bischoff and "Team Canada."

Also, I didn't see any of you (unless I missed it) mention the segment with Jericho in Steph's office when he left and called her a bitch? It was funny as Hell, did you guys not get that part?

Guest Mattdotcom

Yeah, the canned heat was more obvious than ever. Either that, or John Cena is so over as a face his heat is given through telepathy, something not seen since HHH at WrestleMania.

I was so happy when Chavo won. I was a fan of his during WCW's last three years, and I've been waiting for a big win. Of course, the only reason he won was so he couldlook strong for Rey. Sad, ain't it? Why couldn't Rey and Hurricane go ten or fifteen minutes next week? This "Job, win, job, win a big one, lose a big one" system really annoys me.

Speaking of annoying......Undertaker's promo had me flashing back to Armageddon. Remember Undertaker's Hell in the Cell Memoirs? I was there LIVE. Imagine how that felt. Tonight's promo was so ridiculous. I was expecting Undertaker to say, "And if Kurt Angle and the Rock had four apples in muh yard, and I ate two of 'em, they'd have two apples left...and I wouldn't tap out. EVER."

Stiil, an OK show.

I really, really liked SmackDown this week. Despite all the complaints I hear about people saying it doesn't have direction, these shows really build off well. With the exception of the Steph thing, this was a great show. Three good matches. Building interest in the PPV. Building interest in next week's show. Only other problem I have is Team Canada jobbing, but I don't think they do the edge turn for another week or two until after the show when they win the titles. Knoble and Chavo are awesome heels, as is Tajiri, but chavo proved he's an especially great rudo and I was somewhat surprised with him on the mic.

If Mysterio vs. Chavo is the future of the division, I definately have no problems. Chavo's the best guy to reign in Mysterio and get him above ****. He's just brings a ton of psychology to the match plus seems to be less inclined to working on all out WWE style as the transitions were based differently and there was a whole lot less punches. Mysterio actually has an excellent grasp of psychology when he's not trying to kill himself for the crowds.

Oh yea, I forgot about my man Chavo! Sure, I won't see him on Velocity, but I'll see him against Rey Rey next week... wh00! :)

Also, about the Stephanie/Jericho "BITCH!" segment, I thought the ending was OK but I didn't get it. Was Jericho sucking up because he really doesn't want to face Edge? That's what it seemed like to me... and I don't like that character direction at all. Even when Jericho was an arrogant weak heel champion who had to cheat to retain the title, I don't think he ever came off as afraid of his opponents. I mean, what's so scary about Edge anyway?

Actually, you talk about Stephanie McMahon's hair, what about Test's hair? It looked amazingly straight, shiny, and conditioned as well. For a minute there I swore he was Kevin Nash...

D'oh! Forgot about the canned heat during the Cena/Jericho match... man, I was ready to turn the TV off it sounded so terrible and fake. It also showed up later, I think during the Velocity match (ummm... I mean Velocity "promotional match"... why are they raiding my show, dammit?!)
