Guest Brian Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 The weird thing with Rey, though, is it's hard for him to convey any facials, andI'm not making excuses, but his indy work was a lot of facials moreso than hard sell.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 um....yeah... during the first 6 minutes of the match while Benoit worked it...all RVD did was sell his arm.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 facials or not...having your backes worked over hard...doing a dropkick landing square on that injured back...jumping right up and doing all your speed offense...is bad...no?
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Hanging vertical Alla British Bulldog
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 They're bascially giving away the finish.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Impressive Belly to Belly Nice beaching of Henry with the F-5 and Brock's developing a personality. and we go to the G.A.Y. with Rico
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 you know... Next week...Lesnar's match is a pretty big match...and people will know about it for a week ahead of time... So if the ratings go down or do nothing...I'll be very happy.
Guest Brian Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Well, I havven't seen it. But I would assume no.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 John Cena, you'll never be a stand-up comedian
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 thats actually funny Great backstage camera work
Guest Angle-plex Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 I don't know who I hate worse, Lesnar or Cena.
Guest mickberna Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Who directed that backstage segment, Martin Scorsese?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 I love seeing Angle and Brock next to each other. One of them should be one of the biggest stars in the history of the business... and the other one is being pushed like it instead.
Guest Evolved Primate Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 I like how they introduced one wrestler after another.
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Brock is a jerk tonight,
Guest mickberna Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 And on a similar note, who WROTE that backstage segment, a monkey?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 "I don't know who I hate worse, Lesnar or Cena. " Cena Lesnar's push can be attributed to his size and amature background. Cena...I couldn't tell you.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Ooh, somebody on the camera crew is getting all Brian dePalma with a continuous 4 minute shot, real fancy! Heh. And...I actually really like what they're doing with Brock on this show. He's getting a chance to get in the face of the guys like Hogan and Angle and talk to them like they're nothing...cocky, totally self-assured big monster is a nice approach to an otherwise played-out gimmick. I can actually say that, so far tonight, I am interested in Brock Lesnar. Haven't been since he was simply Run-In Monster Man.
Guest Angle-plex Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Can someone tell me why WWE thinks Cena is so great?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 "I like how they introduced one wrestler after another. " That's how TNA does there backstage stuff. Since they don't have commercials everything leads into the next thing. See...Vince is watching.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Brock showing more of a personality. This works. You can tell that he's a good guy, since he wishes both men to win. If the ratings are down next week, it can't be blamed on Brock at all. Since the other stuff does go on on Smackdown and ratings are going down anyways. Big deal.. the WWE still is blowing it with Brock. He looks too weak against Mark Henry. He should be stretchering out his opponents. and I should note that the OVW tag champs from August to October 2001 were Rico and Cena.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Rey vs. Tajiri . . . . Brock vs. Henry . . . . . Hogan vs. Angle . . . . . Im waiting for Nidia...
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 I am getting used to angle being bald.
Guest Brian Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Or Heyman is watching, which would probably be easier to believe.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 is it just me or was anybody else annoyed by Mark Henry's splash thru the ropes on Brock? yeah, let's try and injure our #1 contender in a match against a sloppy guy who has never gotten over in 5 years of trying.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 2, 2002 Report Posted August 2, 2002 Resthold! Resthold! *clapclap*
