Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted July 12, 2003 i thought they came to the ring and sang New York, New York, like FRANK SINATRA
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted July 12, 2003 that was the night Foley left for good. And Frank Sinatra's favorite wrestler was GIANT HAYSTACKS, whom he saw on t.v. during a tour of England. Frank was impressed by his agility for his huge size.
Guest Sturgis Report post Posted July 12, 2003 is that HAYSTACKS CALHOUN or somebody else?
Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted July 12, 2003 yup, same guy  Much like the constant marks theroy that the ULTIMATE WARRIOR has been different guys over the years
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted July 12, 2003 actually, it isn't. Giant Haystacks was the English version of Haystacks Calhoun and he was known in the US as Loch Ness when he wrestled for WCW. Â Now, on the Ultimate Warrior, you're right. Unless, you want to count the couple of times KERRY VON ERICH played the Warrior on house shows right after Warrior quit the WWF unexpectedly the first time, because the Warrior had already been advertised as being there. Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted July 12, 2003 and how the fuck did he "play him" Â beats when i saw Kerry in the WWE House Show, Dublin '92, when he lost to RICK MARTEL
Guest Steviekick Report post Posted July 12, 2003 and he was the tag team partner of my most favorite Internet columnist TOM ZENK
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted July 13, 2003 Kerry dressed up like the Warrior, came out to his music, did his mannerisms, did his moves. Since they had a similar body type and hair style at that time it wasn't too hard to fake as long as people didn't get a good look. I read about this in some Ask411 column, I think. A different 'actor' can play someone else's 'character' and get by at times. Although with Warrior, I know it's more than a character. Â Anyway, Zenk's leaving the WWF forced Martel to partner with TITO SANTANA and form Strike Force.
Guest Sturgis Report post Posted July 13, 2003 Tito, who is a really nice guy in person, defeated GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE for the WWF Intercontinental Title, who actully did him a favor a broke the belt against the steel cage so Tito could get a new one
