Ok, I already know that if I were to wear a Mets' hat in the Bronx and walked by Yankee Stadium, I likely wouldn't come out alive. Now, is this true for any other team? I'd assume that (at least right now) an Angels' or Diamondbacks' hat wouldn't be too well recieved, but, if I were to wear, say a Devil Rays' hat (no, that's just stupid, no one would wear one of those), or a Blue Jays' hat, would the same thing happen? Would I be allowed to live? To be honest, the rivalry between the Mets and Yankees here in NY is more like a "one-up" deal, there's no real hatred. The Red Sox are HATED.....but every time that I've seen anything resembling violence over it, its been at Fenway. Dames

It goes with the territory. However, if you behave yourself and don't do anything stupid, you should be fine. If you start to act like a jackass and start shit, then you can expect some kind of physical retribution. Also, to avoid being murdered, go in groups, preferably around half a dozen. Enough so that you have some security, yet not so large that you have difficulty keeping tabs on everyone. Another point, don't go overboard on the team apparel. A hat or up to a jersey is fine, but if you're all painted up and shit, you can expect violence. Of course, it also depends on where you go. I've heard tales of Packers fans giving blankets to a Vikings fan who underestimated just how freakin cold Green Bay can be and painted up for the game, chest and all. Don't expect such sympathy elsewhere, though.

It might be better to have girls think that you are a loser because they won't have their guard up around you all the time. I'm very secretive about my dealings with girls because experience has taught me that it's usually best to do that. Also, the shit gets annoying after a while too. Here's an example: I clock out from work yesterday and I'm about to leave. There was a girl that was working there that I had never really talked to until yesterday. She was kind of flirting with me when she got there, but I had never spoken to her before. As I was about to leave, she asked me if I was going to my girlfriend's house. What kind of shit is that to say? If you want to know if I have a girlfriend, be tactful about it. I hate when girls make a "I'm assuming that you have a girlfriend" statement. We can be talking about anything and they'll slip in something about "my girlfriend." That stuff pisses me off sometimes. Also, I would love for girls to have their guard down around me. I was talking to this girl ont the phone the other night (she's a virgin) and she told me that she doesn't think she would trust herself around me. I guess it's good that she feels that way, but it also means that she might make a conscious effort to remain a virgin. Another reason why it's better to be perceived as a loser is that it keeps people from trying to be in your business. I was at a get together a few weeks ago and I ended up talking to a couple of girls on my way out. We were standing around outside and we ended up talking for a long time. I have known these girls for three years and I'm friends wth them, but I have done a good job of keeping my dealings secret. Despite that fact, they refused to believe that I wasn't handling my business under everyone's nose. They couldn't prove it, but they refused to believe it. I would say that it's a blessing when the girls never see you coming.

Granted, I've never been to Yankee Stadium so I don't know how security is, but I'm pretty sure there is at least one fight in the stands during those games, especially the night ones. Maybe the sheer amount of bars around Fenway has something to do with it.

Hell, the fact that I know what times she goes to the gym means that I'm actually getting up and exercising. Of course, I've learned not to try and keep up with her. My heart didn't forgive me for three days after. Now, she's got an insane body, but kinda a butter face. That doesn't matter to me. What does matter is that she is also interested. The past couple of days, I've kinda been getting mixed signals. I hung out with her and some of her friends tonight, playing in the rain, and we had fun, but she didn't terribly all over me. I can't tell if she is just being friendly or actually likes me as well. See, I'm horrible when it comes to interpreting signs. If I guess wrong, it means three times a week minumum that I see this girl and feel uncomfortable, and there would be no way in hell that we could work together. Basically, Dames, is it go with brains, or go with heart? Normally, I'd say brains, but I gotta grow some balls eventually and just do something. The problem is, I don't know what to do or when to do it. Any suggestions on anything I can do, aside from just flatout asking?
