Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 Oh? I didn't read all that; I just skimmed the first post and went to page six.
Art Sandusky Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I'm scared to read the whole thing. Everyone's old posts are so embarassing.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I did notice I said I liked Banky as far back as October 2002. We all say things we regret.
Slayer Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I'm glad I've only been around for the New Age of Cliquery
Art Sandusky Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 It was pretty good back in the day, because none of us were aware of how bad we were.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 Outside of the occasional wrestling joke, I started to become "good" in the fall of '02. My posting highpoint was early 2003 (the Eyeball Kid era); now I'm just bitter and cynical.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I don't know, I kinda liked "Ironicandenza" hahaha
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 Oh, no, I'm plenty awesome still, but there was once a time where I was both awesome and fairly chipper.
Art Sandusky Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 ::knife edge chops TC:: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! HAHA I am involved in an elite posting clique of which I am the only member. In a lot of ways, this board is like high school and I am the captain of the football team. I'm also the lead in every play and a legendary star of track and field. I have the telephone numbers of every cheerleader and I've also nailed that hot English teacher, who was then forced to resign her post after being rocked and rolled too vigorously in the janitor's closet. In short, I'm bigger and stronger and better than any of you and if you two halfwits don't shut the fuck up, I am so going to kick your ass after Winter Formal. Know that. Post of the thread. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAP. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAP. As a final note, I sounded a LOT like DFA or something in this thread. I should be shot.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 Watching Kinetic play football would be the best.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Who deleted all the To Kotz threads?
Hank Kingsley Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 My personal low-point was forming the CWO or Cole World Order with DJ Jeff and The Ruthless Aggressor. Pretending to like a subpar wrestling announcer and associating myself with DJ Jeff. Egads.
Hank Kingsley Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 And to top it all off, I think all CWO posts were in the Mission to 1000 thread.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Remember the State of America? That was from the summer of '02; we weren't always horrible back then.
Hank Kingsley Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Summer of '02 also = Mission to 1000, though. I think that negates any good that was done in that era. I regret being a part of it when it was popular. For some reason I remember Inc, Flyboy, me, Rando, and some others actually celebrating the fact that it had more posts in it than the Word Association thread.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Mission to 1000 wasn't bad until people started using it for what it was meant for: post whoring. But then it was only good for the people that were posting in it, anyway, so I guess it was kind of bad, then. Haha, Ruthless Agressor was ten kinds of terrible.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 The Avril Lavigne board invasion started in August of that year, too. Great fun, but the thread itself is embarassing in parts; I talk about watching Summerslam, so gay!
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 And Rant mentioned Smarktalk, the glory days of which was fall '02. All the cool people were posting there rather than here, except for Agent, who wasn't cool yet and was probably talking about puro or lucha elsewhere on this board.
alfdogg Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I thought I was banned when I first saw this thread. So embarassing. I remember the Buff avatar too.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I sure did! I had a morbid fascination with him and his hat.
Hank Kingsley Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 And Flyboy had the RVD/Storm Revolution!
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I don't recall doing any wrestling avatars or signatures. I did however make my rise during the great Akira Taue chokeslam debacle that spawned Jingus vs. Jubuki, which got me dabbling in the No Holds Barred forum more often. My early wrestling posts were awful. As bad as anyone elses. I actually registered at Smarktalk once, as Necrobucket. I don't know how many people noticed, as I probably posted less than 20 times.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Okay, I remember that now. Necrobucket was the fictitious death metal band created by Kinetic.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I've actually been meaning to make it a reality, because that's the perfect name for a cheesy pornogore brutal death band. Oh, I've also ripped off your Oedipus and The Motherfuckers moniker from the band name thread a long time ago. It's my progressive industrial noise project. Two piece, like a bathing suit. My friend Beaster doing programming and keyboards and sampling, me doing everything else. Think Fripp & Eno meets Merzbow meet KMFDM. We'll do something catchy for a few measures, then it's terrible horrible noise for about ten minutes, and that's it. Weedwhacking Gravel.
PLAGIARISM! Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 God, we did suck. I had an awesome Saturn/Andrew WK banner in my sig back then, though. And back in the day, I actually did like Go 2.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 If you make any money off that—which I doubt, given the description of what you're doing—I demand a cut.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 By the same token, you'll be covering a cut of the expenses. Deal.
