Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 So...who's the evil who's returning? Is it just for JAmes Mitchell...and then he'll bring out the new church B team of Slash and Kobain? Last I heard, Malice had a developmental contract...but I found this that I pulled off of the Torch site to be funny anyway: "I checked the tape of the third week of TNA today and yep, that was Malice's music playing on the "evil" promo from the last show. I don't know why I never noticed that music before, 'cause it's actually pretty cool (especially in comparison to the vast majority of NWA themes, which apparently come from the 1986 installment of the beloved "Public Domain Music For Commercial Use" series). While I don't think I'll ever mention The Wall in the same breath as Mick Foley, New Jack, Bruiser Brody, Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels, Dusty Rhodes, Low-Ki, Chris Benoit, The Road Warriors, Magnum T.A., Ric Flair, The Rock, Billy Gunn, and other workers past and present that I'm a mark for, he's shown marked improvement in both the XWF and NWA, and it's good to see they're not just abandoning the fairly important New Church angle/stable. That said... wouldn't it be awesome if the returning "evil" was actually TAKA Michinoku?" Yes. Taka would own it.
Guest ShooterJay Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 TAKA never even occurred to me, that would rule all... Styles/TAKA...*drool*
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Calm down lads, you're just setting yourself up for a disappointment - it'll be some big goofs in "goth" makeup.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 TAKA vs. AJ... *drools* TAKA vs. Low-Ki... *drools* TAKA jobs to Syxx-Pac
Guest J*ingus Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 It won't be TAKA, he's still locked into a WWE contract for a while to come now. And that wasn't just Malice's music that played, all the New Church members use the same music.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Could've sworn he was out of the WWE's clutches.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Considering that they've played hot potato with the theme music a few times, it might not be The New Church. My guess would be Vampiro.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 my sores say the Vampire Warrior is a possibility. [Gangreal]
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I pray that it's Vampiro. I don't care what anyone says or thinks because I'm a blind El Vampiro mark. I don't really want Vampiro to be in the "New Church," I just want to watch him wrestle again. I didn't get to see the MLW tournament, so I haven't seen him since his WCW stint.
King Cucaracha Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I reckon it'll be a big dissapointment, whoever it is. I may be a small dissapointment e.g Malice, Vampire Warrior or even a huge dissapointment e.g Mideon and/or Viscera. But I think it'll be a dissapointment nonetheless. Hopefully, it'll be Vampiro, Taka or maybe even an evil Ulitmo Dragon or evil Sting. Who knows, maybe it'll be HHH, and the evil is that he has come to bury the X Division.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I'd bet on Vampiro and the New Church. Vamp sucks ass, though. And I'm pretty sure Slash is one of the PG-13s, but who plays Kobain?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Kobain was former OVW guy Flash Flannigan. Slash was actually pretty good in his TNA matches thus far. He turned out to be a pretty solid worker. Anyway...someone "evil" may be returning on the 30th... But Mike Sanders and EZ money will be Arriving soon too!
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 I"m guessing Vampiro is returning too. NWA should get La Parka! I would rather see La Parka vs Shark Boy than Brock vs Big Show.
Guest RedJed Posted October 23, 2002 Report Posted October 23, 2002 Only guy to really make the thing huge would be Vampiro. Another thing is that if they bring back the New Church, it could just be a revamped version with guys like Devon Storm, Gangrel, Slash, Malice, etc. Basically a more solid faction.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Isnt Taka gone fromt he WWE.....he even returned to JApan and is wrestling over there.....the EVIL returning is Taka, Dick Togo, and Men's Teioh...KAIENTAI
Guest Brian Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 TAKA probably still has a no-compete clause in the US, at least for anoher year or so I'm guessing. Even then, I doubt he's coming back.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Vamp sucks ass, though. Watch your mouth punk.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Oh shit. I'm so stupid. I know who it is. Evil? It must be Cheex.
Guest J*ingus Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Um, you guys are aware that Vampiro cut all his hair off and no longer wears the makeup, right?
Guest Zack Malibu Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Actually there is a pic of him in the new PWI with the "new look". From what I know, no one knew he was going to do it, he just showed up at one of the XWF shows with a shaved head, etc. and worked a match in street clothes. Kinda takes away his "aura" IMO.
Guest atari_junkie Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Heh. I'd like to see Mikey Whipwreck come back with Minister Mitchell....but unfortunatly he's retired. *Le sigh* I think it'd be nice to see Vampire though, just cause I'm a big mark. But most likely it will be just another "name value" big money player, to try and give it some publicity...although I thought it got enough attention and publicity just by being...unique (X-Division). Whatever.

I was at 2 XWF shows doing the tour, and the first Amarillo show he showed up late..and wrestled in street clothes without makeup. Second night in Lubbock, he had tights..facepaint..buzzcut, worked a 10minutes+ match and even did "highspots" off the stands, etc.
Guest B-X Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Jesus fucking Christ, tha guitar is hot. Resume normal topic.
