Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted November 20, 2002 The 1997 ECW Invasion of Raw (especially the Sabu "RAW" sign dive). RVD & Tommy Dreamer invade RAW in 2001. When Benoit was drafted ahead of Hogan in the Brand Extension draft. When Benoit beat the Rock for the WWF Title at Fully Loaded 2000.....(until Foley reversed it. Damn you Mick!) Jericho/Benoit beating Austin & HHH on Raw is Quad I. Seeing Red LIVE at a Ring of Honor show (got the biggest reaction on the card, no question).
Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted November 20, 2002 As a kid...Bret Hart beating Jerry Lawler with the Sharpshooter at the last live event in the Boston Garden. Recently...the entire Paul London/Michael Shane streetfight from the 9/21 Ring of Honor show. The most insane match I've ever seen live, and I was front row too! I'm even sort of in the match, because when London gets whipped into the guardrail, the rail collapses and London accidentally breaks the rail over my knee. I limped for a week, but it was worth it. Guest converge241 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Foley wins first world title the higher power revealed (although that was really a high level bullshit moment) various ECW house show moments (Furnas and Kroffat winning the tag belts would be up there)
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted November 20, 2002 I can't name just one so here it goes. First time I saw Hulk Hogan. Shut Up! I was like 10 and Hogan Wrestled Randy Savage for the world title at a "SuperStars" taping. Savage was IC Champ so that says how long ago that was. I saw Andre that night also. Seeing Ric Flair win Royal Rumble 92. I was big into Ric Flair because I saw him live for the first time about 3 years ago at "Clash of Champions 9" when he wrestled Terry Funk. No one else really cared for Ric flair then. WWF Mindless sheep. Anytime I saw Bret Hart live in the 90's. Which were all House Shows and pre-recorded Raws. Steve Austin come out with the Coors Light Truck and Spray down Vince, Shane & The Rock. This was also the night Big Show pretty much became a jobber when he lost to Austin's Stunner. Spike Dudley Debuted on Raw. This past year seeing the First Raw of the Split when Eddie Returned and attacked RVD.
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Lance Storm run-in to start the Invasion- May 28th,2001 Yes, what a great b-day present for me, since it was my b-day that day.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted November 30, 2002 At an indy show right before the invasion I got my pic taken with Little Guido, Kid Kash, Nova, Rob Van Dam, Simon Diamond, Public Enemy, and DAWN MARIE!
Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted November 30, 2002 The entire Edge/Christian-Hardy Boyz ladder match from No Mercy 1999. Shane McMahon appearing via satellite from Nitro (I was in Cleveland for Raw). Stacy Keibler bending over on our side of the ring. Hell, I'm human after all. Dawn Marie calling me "sweetie" at an ECW show. Jimmy Snuka doing the Superfly Leap at an indy show. For a man in his 50s, he could still fly. Kurt Angle making Hogan tap to the ankle lock at King of the Ring. Rob Van Dam getting cheered at InVasion depsite only having one TV match (and not a very good one) to that point (and at the same time, X-Pac being heavily booed that same show). I was also at those Cleveland ppvs. The Hardiez / E+C tag ladder match will still be my biggest markout moment. That ovation after the match was a really classy move on Cleveland's part. I see that you mentioned an ECW show. By chance, would that be at the Agora Theater? Hooo Boy, that was an intimate (really small) setting. A bunch of us were lucky to get floor seats (Row F). However, we get to the show and security ends up escorting us to The Front F'N Row!!! Bubba Ray Dudley threw my buddy's brand new Devil Ray cap. Doh! Steve Corino cut an AWESOME promo on Tommy Dreamer and Cleveland; classic stuff. Can't remember much of it though. RVD and Bill Alfonso stayed after the show, thanked everyone and shook everyone's hands w/o looking like they wanted out of town. Classy. Also grabbed Jason's autograph on the way out as well. A great night at the wrestling matches indeed!
Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted December 1, 2002 RIC FUCKING FLAIR returning to Nitro in the best wrestling city in the United States, GREENVILLE SOUTH CAROLINA!!! and the Home of Horsemen Country. His shoot/rant on Bischoff had the us popping like cherries throughout the whole thing and everyone in my section had 4 fingers up on both hands and most of the people around me were in tears. God that is a moment i will never forget. GREAT segment that came off almost as good on TV but the crowd was WAY louder in person.
B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2002 My biggest mark-out moment ws this year at Wrestlemania XVIII for, Hogan. It was the 3rd time I had seen him live, but to see him at Wrestlemania was something special for me, as Hogan was the man responsible for me getting into wrestling back in '84. That day made me feel like a kid again.
Guest Heel In Peril Report post Posted December 1, 2002 Can't pick a fav. Too many thoughts. Here are a few: Sting vs. Flair as the literal end-all match for WCW Nitro and WCW as an independant company, as Sting's retirement match, but most importantly because it was so damn classic, nostalgic, suiting, and just plain phat a match. I almost shed one. The infamous Nitro with Bret Hart, Goldberg, and the metal plate. Good times. The Hitman ripping Vince and everyone else who deserved it a new one with his infamous "Bullshit" speech. And of course! Sting making his "Free Agent" speech. I still feel like a damn child when I see that.
Guest Heel In Peril Report post Posted December 1, 2002 Nevermind! Geez, my bad! I wasn't in attendance for any of those, I misread the topic. ::crowd explodes:: "You fucked up! You fucked up! You fucked up!"
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted December 1, 2002 A house show where there was a ghost title exchange between Booker T. and Chris Benoit for the WCW TV Title, I believe. I was pissed when it was never mentioned on TV afterwards, though. At least I don't think it ever was. This past monday, getting to see HBK and RVD live, up until Trips screwed it up. Feh. Seeing The Rock pin Big Show at a Smackdown before No Way Out for the No. 1 Contendership at NWO before Wrestlemania X7. Austin coming out and stunning Eddie because he couldn't touch Triple H at that same Smackdown!, when Eddie tried to get a beer with Austin when Austin was more interested in screwing with HHH, after the cameras stopped rolling for a commercial break. That's all I've been live for. I marked out for Angle/Benoit vs Eddie/Chavo on this past Smackdown! as well.
Guest Mole Report post Posted December 3, 2002 Whenver I go to see wrestling live, no real markout moments happen. The only thing that was pretty cool was when Triple-Juice came back at MSG. This is before I knew about Triple-Juice playing all those games backstage, and I still thought he could bring it in the ring. When he came out, by GoD, that was the loudest fuckin pop. A great night at the wrestling matches indeed! Those ECW shows were in Warren, actually (about an hour or so southeast...pretty much just follow 422 East and you'll go through the city). A little building called Packard Music Hall. Yes, a music hall. Seats about 2500 for wrestling and never came close to a sellout for wrestling post-1992 until ECW came to town. I was always disappointed because New Jack was always hurt when they got to that building, and we had a balcony that was pretty much the perfect height for him. No RVD for them either (first show was when he was only doing TV to be with his injured wife, the last one during his injury).

Guest deadbeater Report post Posted December 6, 2002 My mark-out was cheering for Molly at Bridgeport Raw 11/16. Molly waslooking at eh stands with her heel face, then looked over at my section while I was still cheering loudly. seh was going like "WTF?" then strted the match. My cheering must have got to her. The next week's Raw in a dark match (Dark match? Boo!!) she played a face. Whoo-hoo! Also, I was there when RVD tried his bad version of the Spinaroony. I was also at the ECW show when Bam Bam bigelow won the ECW title. Well deserved big man.

I marked out for RVD's five star, and then EDDY~! coming out to Stone Cold's music, I was dumbfounded until they changed the music...and then I laughed my ass off. Oh yeah, and that night, they brought back...THE ROCK. JOY!
