It's becoming obvious to me that Yuna Firerose posts because she likes to see her sig. She's posted 4 times in this thread and added NOTHING to it. Let's re-cap:

 

No, I post because I have opinions that I like to say.

 

1. She said that Bret/Shawn two of the greatest workers of our time, and the most infamous match IN THE HISTORY OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING was boring. She then went on to say that she's only interested in "martial artists" like X-Pac and Rico. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

 

HBK is a good worker...Bret? Don't know. I didn't say I was ONLY interested in the martial artists. And I said to "some extent" Rico was considered a martial artist.

 

2. She's admitted she's only watched wrestling since two weeks after SurSer 01. So she doesn't even know about what we're talking about.

 

I started watching around that time....but didn't really pay attention to it. I started to pay attention to it around December's Vengeance....which probably doesn't help me, buuuuut.... Yeah, I do know what you're talking about. They had almost two confidentials to talk about the Survivor Series controversy. Besides that, they made numerous referenances to it throughout the year.

 

3. She said something to the extent of comments about Hurricane were more interesting than Davey Boy Smith. Does she even know the guy died? Does she even know he was in one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

 

Yes, I know the guy died. Like I mentioned above, I never miss Confidential (unless it's a repeat). I would say I don't like seeing druggies on my tv....but then I'd be contradicting myself by supporting X-Pac, Eddie Guerrero (known druggies) as well as RVD and Jeff Hardy (I'm not too sure if they're druggies or not....although, I missed ECW soooo, I'm not too sure about RVD). Besides that, I don't just depend on COnfidential for wrestling history (although they always sum up things nicely)....

Well, NO one knows for a fact that Triple-Juice uses roids. However, like MrZsaz said, you can't gain that much muscle mass within 6 months without using roids. It isn't possible. Plus, he's loosing his hair, and it is mad oily.

 

Do we know about his backstage reputation? No, we really don't know anything for a fact. However, just watch wrestling for the past few months. Triple-Juice has been CLEARLY holding people down. Not jobbing to anyone but his friend HBK.

 

Plus, Yuna, you are allowed to state your opinion. I don't care what you do. There is only ONE thing I ask. Please, please, please make your banner's smaller. I keep waiting for vince to release the nitro archives. I would love it if he would release 4 episodes at a time on dvd, until they started going 2 hours a show then release 3 at a time. If he would release the next nitros once or twice a month I would be spending a lot money in best buy.

Oh, that would be awesome. But I highly doubt that he will release Nitro like that. He doesn't even release Raw like that on DVD, let alone Nitro. If anything, it will be a 'Best of Nitro.'

 

I think he is saving them for when Vince gets his Wrestling Channel on the air. Or I should IF he ever does that. But that is a different topic that has already been discussed.

To be fair man, everyone posts the same opinions numerous times. The same Triple H comments about the same Triple H news items are posted over and over and over and over. I don't like HHH either, but when people gripe about it, they get met with hostility from some.

 

If you were enjoying yourselves talking about the DVD, then keep talking about it. If you think whoever that is is an idiot, leave it be.

If British Bulldog was a drug addict, it's not out of line to call him a druggie. That may seem insensitive to some, but people make their decisions on their own. Was it only painkillers? Being a wrestler (him, not I), I can see how he would need those, but if he got hooked because of his personal problems, that's the way he chose to deal with it and he had to suffer the consequences. I like him a lot too and was hyped up when he was in the Six-Pack Challenge, but any problems that befell him from drug addiction were dealt by his own hand.

About that Wrestling Channel, anyone see Vince using that as his final desperate cry for attention...Of course he will have to completly secure the ECW rights and TRY to buy the NWA footage.

 

Likely It will be Multiple replays of Smackdown, Raw and the bshows and A hour of TE, and 2 hours of "Best of Raw" and 30 minutes of ECW classic moments and a 10 minute WCW history spot.

 

Me? I'd Say have a Daily PPV aired and then have commentary with the wrestlers or people involved. Have 18 hours of Air time (6 for Paid Programing) Split it between ECW,WCW, WWE and Misc.

 

Have a Fans vote for the match thing like MTV2's ControlFreak...

You're right. I should've mentioned that. Was his back really broken, though? I knew it was bad, but I didn't think it was that bad. And fuck WCW for firing him like they did, too.

That would be cool if they use a lot of old matches from the TV shows no one really remembers. Just to see if people would want to see Mero/Goon, Henry/Terry Funk or Undertaker/Yankem. They could also do it for promos, vignettes and skits.
