the max Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Julia Roberts over Bill Cosby? I want to punch you now more than ever.
bob_barron Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Why did you want to punch me before? I think more people worldwide (especially younger people) know who she is more then Bill Cosby. She's the biggest actress in the world.
Art Sandusky Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I'll post a picture of my car here when I get a camera in a couple of weeks. It's much more attractive than me. Pose against the hood seductively, and look pouty. It'll become the new TSM pinup. I don't want Winston pissed off with me. His kind is already tempramental and subject to breaking down over and over again out of the blue, so I'd like to keep him happy.
Spaceman Spiff Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Well, there's your problem - cars are supposed to be named after girls, not guys. It obviously doesn't like the name.
the max Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Why did you want to punch me before? I think more people worldwide (especially younger people) know who she is more then Bill Cosby. She's the biggest actress in the world. Oh, I've wanted to punch you on numerous occasions. Cosby's comedy has impacted generations (I still maintain that 'Bill Cosby: Himself' is the funniest thing that I've ever seen in my life.) and he's been a very successful sitcom star, with one of the most influential shows in history. Julia Roberts has done movies...she's the biggest actress because there's really nobody else that's been around as consistantly as she has. That does not make her better than Bill Cosby by any means.
bob_barron Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I never said he was better then Julia. I like the Cos a lot more then I like Julia Roberts. But CM Funk asked me to list the 5 most famous people I've met and I think Julia is more famous then Bill Cosby. If it was a list of my 5 favourite celebs I've met- Bill would be away ahead of her.
Slayer Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 If it was a list of my 5 favourite celebs I've met Do it Also do the 5 worst
bob_barron Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 5 favourite celebs (this is in terms of liking the most and wanting to meet the most- and this isn't counting Norm) 1) Jerry Seinfeld 2) Kristin Davis 3) Avril Lavigne 4) Hilary Duff 5) Tim Meadows 5 worst- (This is in terms of being a dick and stuff) 1) Bronson Pinchot 2) Lara Flynn Boyle 3) Marisa Tomei 4) Jennifer Aniston 5) Yoko Ono
The Mandarin Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 How did the bottom five piss you off? --- And to keep this on topic, I look like a schmuck.
bob_barron Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 1) I met Brosnon when he was doing a play in NYC since I loved Perfect Strangers as a kid. Given that he has no career there was no one else there to meet him but me and my friend. He was very rude, refused to take a photo with me and just treated me and my friend like shit. He signed: Bro P. 2) I met her when she hosted SNL. I was the only one who recognised her and went up and asked for an autograph and told her I was a loyal Practice fan. She refused and walked slowly out the door. 3) Wouldn't sign 4) Promised she would sign for people on the way out of Letterman so I waited for 4 hrs in the cold to get an autograph for a friend. She came out and ran into her car. 5) Wouldn't sign for anyone even though she's only famous for having a dead husband
Giuseppe Zangara Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 This thread has gotten too barroncentric: In the foreground, on the far left, that is the back of my head, circa March 2001:
Slayer Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Balki was a dick? Who'da thought? By contrast, I've heard the guy who played Larry was pretty nice
bob_barron Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Balki was a dick? Who'da thought? By contrast, I've heard the guy who played Larry was pretty nice I was stunned. I was pretty pissed too since I was really sick that day and figured Bronson would lift my spirits. He instead made me sicker. I hope he never does stuff for Make a Wish
Giuseppe Zangara Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 I hope he reads this thread and regrets his heinous crime.
Guest Nanks Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Finally, a photo with no lycra or vomiting. Mind you, I am still debilitatingly drunk.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 and red. You get some sun, there, or is that an alcohol blush?
Guest Nanks Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Yeah, that's at the Presentation Dinner of the Aussie Intervarsity Skiing Championships. We had a really sunny week so I caught a bit of sun the four days leading up to that. I haven't had a summer in 18 months either so I was a little pale going in.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 How did you not have a summer for 18 months? Australia is not above the arctic circle.
Guest Nanks Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 I was living in Whistler between last November and this March.
Guest Nanks Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Whistler/Blackcomb is a ski resort in British Columbia, Canada. Biggest ski area in North America. I lived and worked there last Northern Winter. I like to ski.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Y'know, with all the snow we get around here, you'd think I'd take up a wintry hobby like that, but the fact that you can place a level on the ground here and have it check out makes that kind of hard. And fuck that cross-country skiing..If I'm going to get on two planks and slide down a mountain, I want it to go WHOOSH before I hit something and die.
Guest Nanks Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 You need to find a hill to drive up. Where are you again?? Indiana?? I shall find you one. Right then, we've got hills in Brown County, Paoli, Lawrenceburg & Valparaiso. You could probably wait for a few months before heading up though. It's heaps of fun, but be warned you will be in desperate need of a painkillers afterwards. Going on what I've gathered from you thus far that shouldn't be a problem though.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 They don't fix death. Were I to go skiing for the first time in my short life, it'd be on a real mountain. I'm not a bunny slope kind of guy. The hills you mentioned are just that..hills. I'd go for something with big crags.
Guest Nanks Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 It's not as easy as it looks. It's a big crawl before you can walk situation with skiing. First time you try it you won't just go straight down the slope out of control, you'll just fall down.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Well, fine, I'll fall down on something scenic. Then I'll go hurtling down the mountain like a human avalanche. Does the fact that I can't roller skate, ice skate, skateboard, surf, water ski, snowboard, or really ride a bike with any kind of proficiency hurt my chances?
the max Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 If you ever go skiing, I demand video of you careening off-course into an outhouse.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 I was thinking tree.
the max Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 You need to be famous to hit a tree when you're skiing.
