Heels that stayed Heel

Recommended Posts

Guest Downhome

We can't go saying people like Nailz. I could list dozens of guys like Nailz who was around for not all that long that were a heel. on a side not...

..."Nailz" played a face on the indys before being in WWF, wrestling as Kevin Kelly.

Just before he first braided his hair (OMG his lovely hair)

Do I dare sense another Raven fan? And I agree with you on that point... whether it was krimpy and red, or braided and blonde/green/purple/whatever color he could get.... it was always great to see. But...now...it's cut! First Eddy's mullet and now Raven's braids? :_( :_ _ (

What next... Shannon and Matt cut their hair? I'll shut up before I jinx it...

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't sentimentally attached to his hair, it just looked cool is all. Anyway they've obviously made him wear them black trunks, because he's gonna team with Bradshaw on his return. And you know Bradshaw wouldn't team with any she-he so that's probably why they made him lose the make up.

Nailz, heh I was gonna say him, but I didn't know if he'd had any other gimmicks in other feds. I'll always remember Nailz, I was terrified of him as a kid.

I shit you not.

On an episode of Superstars Luger came out, and Fugi tagged along with an American flag. Why, I have no idea. This went on for 2 or 3 weeks before it was dropped for no reason.

What about Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard?

Both wrestled as faces in the begining of their careers, as well at other times.

so there are basically no current WWE wrestlers that weren't signed in the past year or two that have been a heel for their whole career?

Wasn't really asking about guys that came and are gone though...

Team up with Bradshaw?! I hope to slashy goodness that you're just kidding. I mean, you are kidding...right?!?!

I wouldn't put it past the creative team. Plus it would mean an elevation up the card for our man Raven, although I think that kind of elevation is something we can all do without.

I was gonna say Christian, but then I remembered the period between The Brood and the Era of Awesomeness, and the beginning of the Invasion.

What about Jamie Noble?

Didn't Fuji have an American flag with him for the six man involving Yokozuna at Wrestle-Mania 12?

FYI, Raven was also face during a short feud with the Right To Censor, which was probably his most time as a face in the WWF.

Knoble was huge face in HWA during his developmental run. His mic work and ring work were big time over.

Bradshaw, imo, is lower on the card than Credible. Everyone talks about Raven's weight gain, well look at Bradshaw. He's just....ewww. The only time he was entertaining was in APA segments, even though I saw very little of them.

So does that mean he feuded with Stevie, or the entire group? I'm guessing Stevie and Raven were the main mouthpieces of the feud, though.

That's what I said, he turned face around WMXVII after losing the HC title to Kane at that event. He went on to have mini-feuds with Rhyno, RTC, and X-Factor. None of the feuds were worth anything and very little happened, except a few run ins and a couple of matches. Almost no promo time was used to enhance any of them, which is why they sucked. It was just, you ran in on my match so I'll run in on yours, we won't explain why we're doing this and it won't get us anywhere but we'll do it anyway. I remember I was pissed because the Raven Vs X Factor feud ran from Backlash until Judgment day, and they never even got a match on the PPV to settle it. BLAH.

No one remembers Raven's face run in ECW as Tommy Dreamer's Tag Partner???

As for heels, Warlord and The Barbarian were heels throughout their WWF careers.

Weren't the Powers of Pain faces before taking Fuji on as their manager? And Barbarian was a face as Headshrinker Seone.

I don't ever remember the Berserker being a face.

I dont call the Brooklyn Brawler being a babyface...tho Ive done a fine job of ignoring him so I wouldnt really know.

Rhino?

Don 'Cyrus' Callis?

WWE Rick Rude wasnt a face I dont think

Nailz also played 'The Prisoner' for one WCW ppv, never a face

Dirty Dutch Mantell?

The Powers of Pain started their wwf run as a face team, managed by a face Baron von Raschke. They were faces when they squashed the Bolsheviks at Summerslam 88 and didnt turn until Survivor Series that year, the double turn with Demolition

How bout Boris Zoukoff of the Bolsheviks?

Heh, I just thought about that today, how I've been goin' on about short face runs in WWE, and I completely forgot about his second stint in ECW. Although he was kind of a tweener for the majority of his partnership with Dreamer.
