Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I was scared they were going to release Dreamer for a while until I saw him in the Rumble. There isn't any room in the WWE for guys like Raven and Credible right now. The upper card is so stacked it's unbelievable. Indeed, many of them are used incorrectly and some shouldn't be there, but you can't deny there really isn't much room in the over crowded top. Raven and Credible would have never been shit in the WWE, so if you ask me, Vince did them a favor and they may make something in TNA. If TNA goes big, they'll have their opportunity. Fact is, not everyone gets a big push in the WWE.
Guest geniusMoment Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 This money will be used to give both Jackies a raise, they will both use them for implants. So they keep Jackie, Terri, Linda Miles, Scott Taylor, Bob Holly, Nash, but no Raven. Hell Raven will be better off in TNA anyway. Its time to bring in the Dead Pool, a much cooler name then the flock. Vampiro, Raven it will be like 1999 all over again.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Youth N Asia...the Smart Mark's lone Justin Credible mark Least they were given a fair shot on tv...right? I would rather watch Justin or Raven on tv then Rikishi, Albert, Al Wilson, Rosey, Jamal, Kane, or Demott
Guest geniusMoment Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 As for Dreamer he will never be cut as long as Heyman has any stroke. Worse case scenerio they make him an agent. Raven and Heyman were enemies after his ECW run so he had no friends in power. This will be entertaining as Raven his notorious for shooting, I can't wait to hear him on Observer Live shooting on all the backstage crap.
Guest Trivia247 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 There it is the Raven's Master plan....Getting himself Canned and having Sean Ohaire take his place as the grand Manipulator. I agree with alot here, thats just crap and proves that the WWE way doesn't know how to handle with those who got more fame and stardom outside their influence. Raven should have known his days were numbered when a year plus they took away his leather jacket and Torn Jean shorts and put him in that white shirt and a Kilt of all things. El Crapo de cisionoso Hell Im a Hakumaniac as much as the next guy but Come ON! I'd accept them firing Haku since they haven't used him since 2001, they got no ideas what to do with the Old School Samoan, so he sits at him in WCW fasion, but a active member of the roster.... They drop Raven ??? Now I don't much care about Justin as much because Credible it appeared to me didn't care much about his career to ask questions about his creative direction. Maybe he knew he was going through the motions. But I doubt the company man description involves more than accepting if they book you or not.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Least they're getting acceptable replacements, they're getting a couple Tough Enough kids to be pretend wrestlers real soon
Guest HHHater Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Justin Credible? Good. Raven? Fuck.
Guest jester Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I guess that this means the perpetual "OMFG Raven is reforming the Flock" rumor gets moved to the TNA folder. Seriously, though I am not a Raven mark, he could have been utilized much better, and there's a lot of deadweight that deserved to go more than him. Hey JR, could repost that Ross report that said "You fucking stupid smarks, we're not releasing Raven! You IWC wankers know shit!" Thanks.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 This will be entertaining as Raven his notorious for shooting, I can't wait to hear him on Observer Live shooting on all the backstage crap. Yeah, 6-8 Months down the road, when WWE finally lifts the Gag Order.
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 GOD FUCKIN.... Damnit this company is pisses me off.. i start watchin HeAT for raven and his masterpiece and now hes fired... F U VINCE
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 The only reason to watch Heat now is for Stevie, Hurricane....you know, where all the good workers end up. Hell, he could've been a manager... what he lacks in wrestling skill, he more than made up for it in his mic skills, imo. By the way, I wonder how that one indy worker feels...you know, the one that had to eat the sandwhich that had Raven's foot on it.
Guest CanadianChick Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Whatever. I liked Raven, but am glad that they are *finally* beginning to cut wrestlers who are past their prime and who aren't even on tv(Credible). Sure, there might be better candidates than Raven, but if this happened, there are probably other nessesary cuts to take place. Like guys who can't even make it on Heat because of their (lack of) abilities.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Yes there is a lot more dead weight to get rid of but Raven was a part of that bulk of people that sucks and has no business in the WWE.
Guest Ram Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Think of it this way, Raven can go to TNA, can lose the muscle mass the WWE pressures wrestlers into gaining, and can not look like a dumbass jobber. More plusses than minuses, people!
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I like Raven. I, at some point, marked for Credible. But they both asked for it. Credible got lazy when he realized he wasn't the big fish he was in ECW. Raven was really outspoken, and probably should've taken the announcing gig when it was handed to him. I can accept that Raven, in all likelyhood, asked for his release though. He saw they had nothing for him, and maybe even saw that O'Haire was moving in on his territory as the 'manipulator'. With that, he decided to just move on.
Yuna_Firerose Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 As long as they keep Stevie around, I'm sure I'll get over Raven...
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Yes b/c we all know that Stevie is so important. Where would we be without him being Victoria's bitch?
Guest Ram Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Hey! Maybe this means a Flock Reformation! < /Delusional Raven mark >
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 <Dude! What if Stevie got fired to!? I mean Saturn is already released! Then they could reform the Flock in Raven's living room! Then they could go to the unemployment line and tell deep meaninful promos before they beat some guy up and force him to join the Flock! That would rock!>
Guest AndrewTS Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Meanwhile, Steiner is still employed. Oh well, maybe TNA can use him as a booker.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 No more Raven *cries* has hope of a NWATNA gig, remember this is 1/2 of the duo that built ECW, and one of the better promo guys and minds in the business. Still he cut his hair for them and this is how they repay him. Fuck'em.
Astro101 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Maybe he'll be the 42nd member of SEX on TNA.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I didn't hear that cut his hair for them but his promos were boring and nothing special. And who cares that he beat ECW? That was 8 yrs ago- ECW is dead
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 It's a shame Good Ol' JR doesn't do the Ross Report anymore, so we could get his spindoctored story on this, after telling all us bitter internet smarks that no-one was getting released.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I agree with you Bob. Jeez Raven is played. The flock is old, his crappy "deeper meaning" interviews are old, and his ring work sucks. It's good that they cut him, he was dead weight. Now time to get rid of more dead weight. Hopefully Raven is the start.
Guest Human Fly Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 I would rather watch Justin or Raven on tv then Rikishi, Albert, Al Wilson, Rosey, Jamal, Kane, or Demott This is a good point. If you like or dislike Raven, Credible, or any other wrestler that has been cut, this fact remains. Al Wilson has been on the road getting paid since what? October? They need to cut the real crap before they put any wrestler out of a job.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Wait a minute. Why does Kane belong on that list with those crappy wrestlers? He's the best hoss in the WWE!
Guest Celtic Jobber Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Raven was too good for WWE anyway. Fuck WWE!
Guest bob_barron Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Yea- his disgusting look, his boring matches and stupid long winded promos are definetly not what WWE needs.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!! There, I'm better... FUCK! ASS! Well, that's 2 hours of time I've just freed up on Mondays.
