Nova, cut your damn hair hippie

Stephanie McMahon recently told Mike "Nova" Bucci to cut his long hair. The reason she wanted him to cut his hair is because she thought he looked too much like Triple H.

No Way. This news reporting all supporting HHH and Steph's antics is starting to become redundant. I am in no way supporting them, but who in the hell has nothing to do but see how many times HHH is mentioned backstage and report it?

Did he gain 80 pounds of "water weight" since ECW ended? Otherwise they are really stretching now.

Tell Triple H to give his whole look back to Flair then.

Well, I'll admit, in recent years, Nova has started to look simliar to Triple H, his hair specifically, but I'm sure that the fans can tell the difference between a cruiserweight and the scourge of the wrestling world today. It's not like Nova is going to steal any of HHH's heat like that, unless she's scared of comments like 'oh...that guy looks like HHH but he can actually move!"

"Dammit Taker you look too much like Hunter! Cut that hair, it isn't even part of your gimmick anymore."

Steph: "Nova! Trim those sideburns!"

Nova: "Steph, I don't have sideburns."

Steph: "Trim those sideburns, hippie!"

I could almost understand not having more then one HGH looking guy, if Hunter was over to begin with. They keep pushing him like he's 99/00 Over when he's not even close. Next they're going to tell Steiner not to take any more roids...he's looking too much like HGH

And Nova's worked himself into really good shape...and once you get him started talking about his diet and workout he'll never shut up. I found that out the hard way at an indy show.

Reason William "Paul Bearer" Moody Was Not Brought Back

by René Boulechitte and Jean-Paul Beaugousse

Triple H told William "Paul Bearer" Moody to lose weight or leave the WWE in September 2002. The reason he wanted him to lose weight or leave is because he thought he looked too much like Stephanie McMahon.

I know they are ridiculous sometimes, but does anyone ever think Dave makes up some of this stuff? Especially the little one-offs like this with no other information....how hard is it to just write "STEPHANIE DID BLAH BLAH"...theres no way to verify or anything...

I trust 1wrestling, I really do, but I will say this. I feel that SOMEONE that they have as inside sources, MUST be making some of this stuff up just for a laugh. I mean, stuff like this it sooooooooo out there, it's just almost impossible to believe.

I wonder if Rhyno will need a haircut? And how did Edge slip through the net?

Memo from Stephanie McMahon to all talent:

Get off the gas, and stop going to the gym. You're looking too much like Hunter. I want all you blonde haired guys to dye your hair. You can dye it any color you like, as long as it isn't blonde.

That is all.

How come all the wrestlers today HAVE to have the same short haircut and wear generic wrestling trunks and boots??

When all the wrestlers start looking the same it will get real boring real quick.

I know 80's wrestling is not popular with alot of people here, but I miss those days when wrestlers were allowed to look different and have different gimmicks.

A lot of today's WWE stars are starting to look like "regular joes" with not much of a persona.

Are you talking about 80's wwf or nwa? WWF had all the crazy characters. NWA they all looked alike.

In the NWA they looked all alike??

So Ric Flair & Dusty Rhodes looked alike??

Road Warriors & Midnight Express looked alike??

Sting and Barry Windham looked alike??

The Koloff's and the Rock and Roll Express looked alike??

We must have different opinions on how wrestlers "look".

You had your overly bleached blondes, just about everyone with the same tights and initials on the boots. Tag teams with mulletts like Rock n Roll, Midnights....

I didn't say there weren't characters but lots of lookalikes.

I will take those looks anyday over some of the stuff we see today.

I would also take some of the 80's WWF crazy characters over 80% of today's crap.

But I guess I am old school like that :D

Whoa, don't get me wrong, I grew up during that time and went to just about every house show when the NWA came through. My favorite wrestler of all time is Flair, favorite tag team is the Midnights. I was just saying as far as looks, the WWF had the goofy characters, NWA was a little more plain. But an NWA mark I still am.

OMG~! Who is who?!

The guy on the right is Hunter. The one on the left is Jeff Hardy!

I hear ya there oldschoolwrestling!!! I love 80's NWA!!

I am also a huge fan of the WWF 1983-1987, but after 1987 they started to get too "cartoon" with their gimmicks.

Truth be told, today's WWE can't hold a candle to most of the 80's wrestling that I grew up with, with a few exceptions like Angle, Benoit, Guerreo, Jericho, Mysterio and a few others.

I think we'd be able to tell the differnce between HHH and Nova once each performs in the ring.

This also makes me wonder, since Steph. thinks Nova looks too much like HHH, if Nova is shaved all over...
