Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Usually the person turning should be made to look strong, but Jeff has just been embarrassed by Kane, RVD, and Shawn Michaels now. Where do you think they are going with the Jeff Hardy heel turn? My guess is nowhere.. and fast.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Frankly, I don't really care. This is the most entertaining he's been in years. "I am going to start kicking some asses around here...and I'm going to start with YOU" **SWEET CHIN MUZAK~! and Hardy is down**
Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Well the starting push at Jeff's heel turn was an utter flop. This is mainly because Jeff is a scrawny jobber and attacking Kane is lunacy, the fact that RVD and Shawn were there only made it worse. Jeff is going to continue to go downhill and get jobbed, except this time it will be as a heel, you have tonpity him really seeing how far he has fallen. Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted February 4, 2003 It's been said: Jeff Hardy = Heel Jobber With A Purpose he'll do nothing of note except be a guy that gets beat up all the time trying act like he's a bad ass when he is a guy that paints his body different colors and has neon hair ***Member 2347***
Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Heel jobber with a purpose? What purpose is that? To look even more ridiculous and get destroyed by all the faces on RAW on a regular basis?..... *thinks* Actually thats not much different from his face career..... The Dames 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Honestly, they've dropped the ball with it already compared to what I thought up. Now, I have a feeling that a lot of you will probably pull down your pants and collectively shit on this, but just read it through. With all of the hype that Sean O'Haire is getting, you'd assume that he'd come in somewhere in the midcard, with a semi decent push. However, this is the WWE and he'll have to pay his dues. So, what I thought up is this...he's playing a "Devil's Advocate" character right? Let the first person he influences be Jeff Hardy. You've seen it...Hardy's career has been stagnant for months. Mattitude is over and Jeff has gone from the star of the Hardy Boyz to the Marty Jannetty of the team. Sean O'Haire approaches him in the back...gives him some words of "encouragement" and then Hardy turns heel. Whether or not Hardy is taken seriously is irrelevant....the purpose would be to show how influential O'Haire could be. I've given this a lot of thought and this character could be the stimulus of tons of heel turns and character development for guys on the roster. Hell, all Bischoff needs is an O'Haire pep talk about the demise of WCW (and how he's about to have his Monday night show taken away by Vince AGAIN) and that could set Bischoff vs. Vince or Shane running. Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Yeah, I think O'Haire might be behind it. "People say that you're the next HBK, Jeff, but how CAN you be when Shawn Michaels is still around? You're never going to get anywhere if there are people like Michaels holding you down..."
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted February 4, 2003 I like the direction that Jeff is taking. What I think is gonna happen is this..... Jeff will continue to lose matches as a heel. But, when he finally wins his first match as a heel, it will have an impact that will propel him into the heel status further.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Dames.......I for one hope that is how they handle O'Haire's LIVE return.... I like that idea ***Member 2347***

That would be impressive I have to say, but that Sean O' Haire idea is intriguing to say the least.

It could help both of them get over. At which, point, O'Haire will be assimilated by the whhhorsemen.

Dames The only reasn I like that is because it keeps some of the shit together rather than spread out. And this should be Jeff's punishment for his non-effort in 2002. Turn him heel so he loses the little girly pops, and then just HUMILIATE him until he quits.
Guest iamsherm Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Personally, I think Jeff Hardy's character just reeks of Planet Stasiak - and look how his career turned out. I don't think it'll go anywhere. It's entertaining enough as it is, IMO.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I'm also of the opinion that what we're seeing is the beginning stages of Jeff Hardy's burial before his inevitable release. The rumors were that while Vince and Co. knew Jeff was all fucked up and on something, they coddled him and such, partly because he was still over with the fans and business was down. Now, the easiest way to get rid of Jeff without alienating any fan base is to take that fanbase away -- i.e. turn him heel. Now the question is, what made Vince and Co. wake up and realize that Jeff needed to be cut loose? Did Jeff borrow money from Vince and then used it to get high? Or did he just let him down one time too many?
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Jeff Hardy's career going the way of Stasiak's? ... Oh, god. Would YOU want Jeff Hardy to be your chiropractor? (Isn't that what Stasiak's learning to be right now?)

Just because he's a heel, doesn't mean he'll lose his fanbase. Kinda of does...That is the idea of a Heel turn...If Hogan turned in 1996 but the fans went right along with it...it wouldn't have worked... So Turning Heel will throw your fanbase away unless your Dewayne Johnson.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 So, because Jericho's a heel now, he has zero fans?

Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Look at me...I hated Face Jericho...I LOVE Heel Jericho... When he turned initally he was completly hated...Then he gained a NEW fanbase... It's new because it's a totally different character...
Guest Repo Man jr Report post Posted February 5, 2003 My last post made no sence... I think I mean Jericho fans like wrestling and Hardy fans like screaming, or something like that anyway. I have no clue really.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Hell if Ohaire was behind this... this would be something someone like oh I dunno... RAVEN! was taylor made for this type of character angle? Grand manipulator...but NOOOOOOO
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 5, 2003 How come people always asscociate and wish for Raven/Hardy to be together? Maybe it's cause they each obviously Homosexual.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 And because they apparently didn't know Raven was released... And Aceas, is that the cover of an issue of Aliens vs. Predator: Deadliest Of The Species as your avatar, or from Aliens: Earth War? Or...something...completely different... It's new because it's a totally different character... Oh definitely. Heel Jericho is far better than face Jericho. Jericho's problem is being buried by HHH. If he turned face, it would simply happen again. Jericho will never accomplish anything as long as HHH has power.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 6, 2003 The type of fans Jeff Hardy has are those teenage girls. And they will leave if he turns heel. Most fans are not like internet fans, who tend to favor heels.

Or did he just let him down one time too many? I share that opinion, once Jeff clocked RVD with the chair I was waiting for the heel turn, but when he's interfering and getting his ass whooped without accomplishing anything, it can't be anything else but a squash job. Jeff has been damaged goods for a year or so now, and despite his deterioration he's still gotten several pushes, including a pretty heavily hyped title ladder match with Undertaker. It seemed like Vince was trying to encourage him by giving him several chances to be successful, and Jeff just dropped the ball. Whether it was alleged drug use, the abuse of his body from all the high-impact moves or some other reason, Jeff could never quite cash in. I wouldn't be surprised if the WWE has just lost faith in Jeff at this point, and decided to cut their losses short. He could also be sent home for a long hiatus, but if they were doing that, I would think they would just injure him rather than making him look bad.
