Another good trick is to spend the max on Advertising and it will raise your PI pretty good dueing the month...then right before the end of the month, lower it back down to a small amount

You can't do that trick anymore as you can only change advertising at the beginning of the month, unfortunately. Of course, as long as you make enough every month to cover it, then it really does not matter much.

You can't do that in EWR 3.0

You can only change Advertising on the first of the month.

A big problem with WWe is that there's too many good people to decide on who to push. And someone good is always being misused because there's not enough card space to give them good pushes.

I have Edge feuding with Eddy and it's 4th on the Smackdown ladder of importance.

Dan DaLay On CWD:

In this column I'm taking a look at CWD (Complete World Dominance). Currently trading at global level, and run by Rick Staven, they are said to be financially healthy. Currently charging $60 for what is described as a family oriented show. Two their most key assests are Jay Lethal, who is their most talented preformer on the roster, and Chris Benoit, their most bankable star in terms of drawing power. In total, CWD has 59 workers on their roster, 32 staff members, and 3 TV shows. They are the number 2 promotion in North America.

WEEE I'm finally in DaLay's column~! I'm so happy~! I've NEVER been able to do it, but I did. WOOO~!

What's funny thought is Jay Lethal is currently in my developmental camp. Maybe I should bring him into the fold and give him the monster booking from hell push? ...nah. I'll just wait it out.

Um...why would you keep Lethal in your camp? At the start of the game he has 96 charisma and is like 40 over. His overness goes up quickly when you put him in matches even without the monster push. Feuding with Benoit he'd be mega over in a month.

Well here's my reasons as to why I haven't yet:

a) I just acquired Jay Lethal's services and thusly didn't have a clue as to what to do with him, so I placed him in development camp.

b) Another problem is that Jay's also not a top priority right now as I'm trying to build up my Lowercarders (Brian Kendrick, Xavier, Dave Batista, etc.) into Midcarders, some of my Midcarders (Devon Storm, Damien Bristol, Scorpio, etc.) into Uppercarders, and two to four of my current Uppercarders (Ultimo Dragon, AJ Styles, Steve Corino, etc.) into Main Eventers. I've kinda got more guys to handle with building up then I need. So Jay Lethal's just staying in developmental camp till I can justifiably use him. Not use him for two weeks like how the Hurricane was given all that cred to Uppercard then crushed down into Lowercard. Although in my fed, Hurricane is Uppercard, and he's damn well going to stay that way.

I'm having hella-fun with it. My TNA is miles better than the actual one (and that's saying something.)

Do you need proof of my greatness?

I got Tom Howard over as a upper midcarder.

Oh yes.

This game is pretty cool. I've never had EWR before and it's pretty fun. Fair bit of work though. I started with WWE and got them to 100% PI and took an offer from ECWA and did pretty well with them before being ask to take over 3PW where I'm getting good PI gains and landed a TV deal, but I'm bleeding cash big time, no good. Dude, Tom Howard is my heavyweight champion at 3PW, he's hella over, he's great. Tony Jones is pretty cool as my midcard champ, but Kid Vicious will get it soon with XTC covering his lack of charisma. I just wish Scoot Andrews and J.R. Ryder would've come with me from ECWA

Maybe you got that 1 in 25 chance the last ten times... :P

If that isn't it, well, I'd need to see your booking for those shows... :)

I started a Backyard fed with 0 PI and no money. After 16 months, I'm at about 50 PI (Backyard Level) and have about $170,000. I also have the game on Rock Hard. Hopefully a bigger promotion hires me soon.

The funny part about my game is that I split Raw and SD! into separate companies. Right now since there was a boom, there are NO workers with 50 over or higher. Tied with 100% Global PI is Raw, SD! and TNA.

I HATE BUGS!!!

Jeff Jarrett is backstage. He talked trash about Raven, continuing their feud.

Overall Rating: 83%

Jeff Jarrett lost 2 points of overness from this segment.

AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN! UGH!

He probably lost points because Raven wasn't in his league. There was probably too much of a difference between their over points.

Godamnit, I'm in serious trouble here in my first game. 3PW won't stop losing money and Apollo Kahn just went into rehab when I was pushing him to the upper midcard for a belt feud. Shit. It's all up to Lash LeRoux to save my game now. I'm gonna be so sad when I go out of business

Retro Rob gave a good reason behind that. Plus, if Jarrett's overness was in the 90s, an 83% segment would be enough to drop his overness, I think.

Just to let you guys know, Adam updated the game again. This version has some more gimmicks, a few more angle fixes, some graphics options, and one of the most popular suggestions for the game:

EVENT HISTORY.

Enjoy, guys! :)

Anyone get Adam's new NWA Scenario. Pretty sweet. I was enjoying the Ravex 97-98 scenarios before but this one beats those out.

I was about to comment on the NWA Scenario...I'm also loving it.

I'm using Canadian Stampede and I've managed to steal RVD, Kanyon and Brock.

My feuds:

Beniot(face) vs. Lesnar(heel) for World title

RVD(f) vs. Jericho(h) for North American title

Edge(f) vs. Scott Taylor(was Scotty 2 Hotty)(h) for Canadian title

America's Most Wanted(Chris Harris/James Storm)(f) vs. Canadian Violence (Christian/Lance Storm)(h)

Vader vs. Sonny Siaki

Bret Hart vs. Chris Kanyon

Jody Fleisch vs. Taka

A few notes first: You will need to re-edit Hurricane's stats (NWA:EC) They are all at 0. Also move Johnny Smith from Strong Style to Stampede. I mean, come on it's Johnny Smith and Stampede wrestling. Anyways, here it is:

Scenario: "NWA Domination"

Author: Adam Ryland

Version: 3.0

Promotions: 8

Workers: 817

----

The Story So Far...

In an alternate reality, the 1980's turned out a lot different. Vince McMahon's attempt to dominate the US wrestling scene were foiled when the NWA stood up to him and called his bluff. Vince ended up losing the WWF name through bankruptcy. The NWA went on to be the dominant force in wrestling, although their very strength - many different members making up a larger whole - meant that no one promotion managed to go global.

As we come into the new Millenium, things are poised interestingly. Of the major NWA affiliates, three stand at a national level, ready to try to go global. A few cult promotions are becoming more popular, and are attempting to move to a national stage. Finally, some smaller regional promotions are springing up.

The Cast...

NWA: Calgary Stampede (National) - Owned by Stu Hart, NWA:CS are the only federation promoting out of Canada. Built around the best three graduates of the Hart Family Dungeon - Bret Hart, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho - this federation relies more on straight heavily-athletic matches, and avoids gimmicks and shock angles.

NWA: East Coast (National) - Vince McMahon returned to wrestling by joining the NWA and promoting out of New York City. The promotion is built around big draws like Hogan, Rock and the Clique, and also includes Shane and Stephanie McMahon. The rest of the roster is made up of McMahon loyalists and assorted big men.

NWA: Texas (National) - Built on the legacy of the Von Erich's, Dusty Rhodes has taken control of NWA:TX. The promotion is a throwback to the 1980's, with much of the roster taken up by either veterans of that era, or local Texans. The major stars are Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Mark Callaway and Randy Savage.

NWA: Los Angeles (Cult) - A brainchild of Roddy Piper, NWA:LA is a two-tiered promotion. Once tier has a gritty urban feel, using people like the Gangstas to deliver chaotic violence. The other tier is a result of a deal struck with some Japanese federations, where some of their top talent like Mike Barton and Michael Modest are allowed to compete.

NWA: Mexico City (Cult) - The most popular grappler in Mexico, Konnan hung up his wrestling boots and became the promoter of the biggest promotion south of the border. Focussing almost entirely on lucha libre performers like Rey Misterio and Juvi Guerrera, NWA:MC features mostly high-flying bouts.

NWA: Strong Style (Cult) - Al Snow decided to try something different, and started up a US promotion based more on the Japanese style of stiff blows and submission holds. With close friend Dan Severn on board, a great talent roster was assembled, with names like Ken Shamrock and AJ Styles being the cream of the crop, plus a mass of Japanese talent due to links with other federations in the Orient.

NWA: Detroit Michigan (Regional) - This promotion is a no-frills federation run by Bill Watts. The action is brutal and realistic. The roster mainly consists of hard-hitting powerhouses like the Steiners and Road Warriors, but their main selling point is the presense of Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle, who are the top two stars.

NWA: Hardcore City (Regional) - Based out of Philly, Paul Heyman's promotion is the bad boy of the NWA, always looking to use shock tactics. The roster consists entirely of Heyman loyalists like Tommy Dreamer, Tazz, and Stevie Richards.

Starting Afresh...

At the current time, wrestling is not televised anywhere, although this is likely to change very soon. Which promotion will be first to reach the Global level? With so few people under written contract, how long can it be before the first major steal? Pick your NWA affiliate and get playing!

Adam
