Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 16, 2003 Parker cannot score keep him off the court. K-Mart thinks he is Dennis Rodman, maybe its time to put Willas in to get physical.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted June 16, 2003 they need to keep butterfingers jackson off the court. hell, steve smith couldn't do a worse job than he has done. as for steve kerr, if he doesn't take big shotss than he doesn't do us any good. he should be handling the passes to the paint. Guest Tony149 Report post Posted June 16, 2003 As I type this it's still half-time. The Spurs seemed -- and probably were -- nervous at the start. A three-point lead is easy to overcome but the Spurs need to start the 3rd well; they have some trouble after the half.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 16, 2003 Good news the lead is down to 3 points now, keep Jackson off and replace him with Manu!
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 16, 2003 David Robinson needs to show the Nets whose neighorhood they are playing in. I think they should bring in Rose to replace Bowen for extra muscle.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted June 16, 2003 ok it is make it or break it time for the spurs and this is another fucking ugly game.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted June 16, 2003 The Spurs need a Braveheart type of speech from the coach. Nobody wants to take a shot, all they do is pass it around until Duncan is open. Shoot the 3 Kerr! For some reason I think Popavich is somehow possed by Vince K McMahon's spirit in that he is now trying to get revenge at his enemies..........PETER VESSEY must pay! Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted June 16, 2003 My God...The Nets just fuckin COLLAPSED in on themselves and gave up at about the 2 minute mark. Jason Kidd's ass is gone from that hole, he was the only one putting forth any effort on his team once the Spurs took the lead. The rest of them just gave up. Kenyan Martin also continues to show that outside of Shaq, he has the worst god damn jumpshot in the league. He literally makes 1 out of every dozen of them. Greg Popovich finally waking up and deciding to just keep Speedy Claxton in the game is why they won IMO. This would have happened in Jersey the other night if he woulda just done that but ah well, better late than never.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted June 16, 2003 THE SPURS ARE THE MOTHERFUCKING NBA CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as i type this, horns are blaring, fireworks are being launched in the city and i imagine downtown is going fucking nuts!!!!! don't expect any riot reports since san antonio has always been a city that knows how to party and party with class! Guest Tony149 Report post Posted June 16, 2003 Woo-hoo! Spurs are the champions! Great to see David go out with a championship. He was the franchise for so many years and allowed Tim to take over when many other superstars would of shrugged at the idea of letting a new guy take over the team. Pop FINALLY let Speedy stay in the game. Spurs played like shit but they stuck it out and won. Great to see that nice guys don't finish last!

Sometimes to many chefs spoil the brath. Fill your needs with players you know can fit into the puzzle.

Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted June 16, 2003 Congrats to the Spurs. It was really nice to see guys like Smithand Willis get their rings. It was especially nice to see the Admiral leave on the greatest of terms. They deserved it and Duncan has proven that while he may bot be the flashiest player, he is indeed the best. Guest Ripper Report post Posted June 16, 2003 That is absolutly hilarious Spicy...shaq...you kill me. ANYWAY... There are times when I am watching a game and wonder what a coach is thinking. Byron Scott, last night, baffled me. Lucsious Harris has given you NOTHING. The Nets go on a run when you bring in Anthony Johson to back up Kittles and move kidd to 2 guard. Johnson scores six points, forces some turnovers. So with the game on the line you go with Lucshious Harris. WHY. Jason Collins did NOTHING the entire seies. Mutumbo was actually succesful in one on one coverage on Duncan holding him to 37% shooting when he was defending him. WHY IS JASON COLLINS ON THE FUCKING COURT. 4th quarter...you are klinging to a lead, you need to get Martin some rest. Do you A: go with Aaron Williams who gave you GREAT minutes in the first half or do you B: go with Rodney Rogers...who has done NOTHING since the first round. Well B: if you are Byron Scott. Kerry Kittles scored 11 points in the 3rd quarter and played great Defense. Scott pulls him and doesn't put him back in the game until 3:40 left in the 4TH FUCKING QUARTER. Scott pulled Jefferson after Manu Ginobli stole the ball from him...then Rodney Rodger continued to double on Duncan dispite the fact that Mutumbo was screaming for him to stay with his man. He gave up a lay-up to Rose, Martin comes in so he switches to Jackson who he proceeds to leave wide open 3 fucking times for 3. The Nets could've won this series. They had a great chance. But they didn't and I can put alot of blame on Byron Scotts use of his personel. But none of this is to take away from the incredible play of Speedy Claxton(who is gone next year BTW...no way he will be taking a backseat to Parker again) Ginobli and the BEST DAMN BASKETBALL PLAYER IN THE WORLD TIM DUNCAN. Congrats. The Spurs and Nets gave me a great series and as a real fan who won't be bitching about the scores not being 200-198 I loved every second of it. Guest Tony149 Report post Posted June 16, 2003 Shaq is the most dominated player in the NBA, no doubt. But Duncan is clearly the best fundamental player in the league. If I had to choose between Duncan & Shaq over who's the best player in the NBA I'd take Duncan until Shaq gets back into shape.
